Toddlers set down food when having a quick meal from the snack bag

I have the "always has a snack-bag" item in my toddler' room so that they can get food for themselves. When I select "have a quick meal" from the bag, instead of grabbing food and going somewhere to eat it, they grab food and just set it on the ground. This happens every time with both of my two toddlers. This messes up the gameplay flow if I have any actions queued up for after they eat, because I have to cancel those and make them actually eat the food.

When an adult has a quick meal using the bag, they grab the food and eat it as expected.
