I would like to go ahead and indicate that this issue does still exist in the most recent patch: 1.116.202.1030.
I do not think it is intended this way, as in the past (at least pre-lovestruck I think) this did not happen. Tooltips did not show the bed only belonging to one sim, and the sims would sleep perfectly fine together without one of them getting up immediately after laying down. If this is intended, they need to go about it a different way because it makes sims who are partners sleeping in one bed really annoying because I have to tell me sim to sleep *multiple times* which makes no logistical sense.
