You know how the game will generate new sims for you and put them in "Manage Households -> Other Households" ? For the a long time now, it's been generating households with the same name as household...

Do you have those Sims in your library ?
Did you start a new save without any mods/cc to see if it happens there too ? This is a typical issue with MCCC (although the Vampire part is new) so did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing the mod ? Did you just disable or physically remove your mods folder ?
At first, I was finding sims that I had deleted coming back in new households. More recently, it's been copying sims that are living in households in my current game and turning them into vampires. So, for example, I have one Audrey Woodruff (I made her) who living with her husband and family, and another Audrey Woodruff who is a vampire. I deleted the vampire version and then the Mila Munch vampire showed up. When I want to test without the mod, I just rename the mod folder. I can't be sure if I always delete the localthumbcache file.
Could you test a new save that never had mods/cc to see if you have the same happening ?
Usually if you create a Sim, there's a copy saved to the library. Did you delete that one or is it still there ?
Okay. Do I add Sims from my current save to the new save?
I have two iterations of Audrey in the library. One with just her and her kids and then a second one with her husband.
