Vet clinic sold after moving and not functioning after re-buying

I moved household and it suddenly showed that I no longer owned my vet clinic (I read after that this is apparently a known issue that unfortunately hasn't been fixed yet). I rebought my clinic but am now having several issues:

It shows as having 0 funds and won't let me transfer funds from my household - I tried selling an item at the clinic as I read this is a workaround but when I go into build mode it keeps saying I'm in free build mode so I can't sell an item to get money - so it won't let me open the clinic. 

I've lost all my ratings, perk points and the perks that I'd bought. 

I had 3 employees before I moved & the clinic sold itself, but now it's still showing that I have 3 employees but when I click manage employees it just comes up with a white screen. 

It glitched and initially let me open the clinic but then closed itself and won't let me re-open due to the funds issue so my employees are on site and customers are coming in but I can't greet them and seemingly neither can my employees due to it being closed?
