[W] Werewolf Fur color/texture black for werewolf children

I recently got the "Werewolves" Pack, I made my own Sim Werewolf in CAS. He married a non-werewolf Sim and had two werewolf children. My current werewolf Sim (his son, Robin Sherwood) has a jet black wolf in CAS that can't be altered. I expected a randomized coat pattern and colors but no. His fur is black and cannot be changed. I would like to be able to alter his coat and tattoos in his wolf form. Please help! Thanks!

Did he have a texture before and then turned black at some point or just when aging up ?

  No, when he became a teenager, his CAS fur was just BLACK. Like void black. It happened with his sister, too. I don't use mods on my Sims game so I don't know what the problem is.

Could you add a pic ? Does he look like the werewolf in the pic in post #4 of the thread I linked ?
