[W] Werewolves with custom paint turn black

JUST made this werewolf, saved my game, restarted my Xbox, and he's gone from all orange to all black... again

I have seen this "solved" already. But I'm still having the issue. When downloading a werewolf from my gallery and switching to beast form; they're all black. Nothing I've tried works. I'm on Xbox too so idk if I can fix it. HELP!

NEW ISSUE:
As a test to see if I can find the issue, I went into the werewolf paint mode and put an orange dot on the head of my 1st werewolf. Then, I downloaded a completely unrelated werewolf, and the orange dot appeared on the 2nd one. !?!?!?
