Ideas
I had flared stairs in my build, but when I placed a wall on the floor below, they disappeared. I tried placing them again, but it wouldn't let me flair the stairs unless I removed the wall in the floor below. I could place a standard stair, but not flair the bottom. I was recording when it happened, so there's a video of it (the video is in Spanish):
