Wants: 'Get Into a Relationship' not satisfied after becoming romantic partners

I started a new game with two sims, both romantic/family oriented/loyal. Both started with a want to Get Into a Relationship. After an initial date in which they became romantic partners, both still have the Want to Get Into a Relationship.
