[XB/PS] Can't rotate lot

When I place a lot I can  not rotate the house,the Lb Says previous and the Rb says Next there is no rotate this is the same when I click the move button still says same.

I am on xbox Next Gen

Happening on PS4 too, can't rotate any rooms, roofs, buildings etc trying to rotate just drops what is selected and moves to the adjacent build tool. There is a similar bug report open on this forum though concerning being unable to rotate roofs cause left and right trigger won't work (I haven't figured out how to post the link sorry) if you go to the bug reports and search "can't rotate" it should show up so you can vote and leave your issue description 😀

hmm only other reports I see are 4, 6, and 11 months old is it one of them? and if so which one?  I should of known it would be just another bug that's not been fixed. typical of the sims🙄

It's the one from 6 months ago, console unable to rotate roofs and stairs. Hopefully they will fix this soon cause it's rather annoying 😕

I'm playing on xbox console, and I have had this problem for years ever since they changed up the controls for controllers at one point and I am wondering if this will ever be fixed. When trying to rotate lot in any situation it just switches to a different tool type instead. If I am placing a lot from the gallery the lot disappears and ends up canceling the placement, so I have to go back and attempt to place it again with no adjustment options. If I am trying to rotate a lot that has already been placed, then it cancels the rotation and switches tool type. This only happens when using a controller. If I attach a keyboard and mouse to my xbox the rotating the lot works but I don't want to have to connect a keyboard and mouse every time I decide to rotate a lot.

I've got this bug too on Xbox Series X with all content installed it's been happening for about 3 weeks that I know of. I don't use the feature often but needed to rotate a lot to get a better gallery image as in it's current position I'm getting a gallery preview that doesn't show the house. When I rotate it, it switches tools instead and for some reason it adds the pink unit outlines which make no sense at all on a residential lot with no previous or current occupancy or ownership.

I left it for a few weeks to see if the next patch would fix it. I cleared my locally saved data and returned to my work in progress yesterday but the problem still occurs. I have also reported separately on the problem with rotating a roof or staircase (the same thing was happening and I was getting tools instead of rotation) but those are resolved for me now so I thought this might be working too, sadly not. I can move a lot or house but can't rotate. I tested on other lots too, same problem.
