I have a PS5 and with the new update I noticed that when I try to change an item for a sim to wear my cursor disappears. I can’t move anything to highlight something to click and wear. However after some time moving my joystick it comes back but when I change the hair, I can only change the hair color and not the hairstyle? It just disappears and I can’t change the hairstyle. I’ve also seen multiple console players have this weird disappearing cursor issue in CAS.

this is also happening on Xbox smh and I don't even know how to layer cuz it's not even showing me the options. also we supposedly got a bunch of new hair and stuff but I don't see any of it. I don't know where to complain about this because I'm not real familiar with this website. I'm just a Sims player I have been for years lol

I'm having this same problem! I was finally going to play the game for the first time in months because of the new update, sat down to make a sim and I'm trying to find a hairstyle that matches a character from another game and it's so unbelievably frustrating not being able to actually select the different options, I can't even change the colour anymore 😭
Sameeee. I’m on Xbox and it was working fine before this new stupid update and if I didn’t spend as much money on this game as I did, id delete it and not touch it again. Which also makes me mad. If we’re putting money into this game lets have it run smoothly please and stop adding stuff instead of fixing what’s already wrong with it 🫠
This is happening to me on ps4 too! They need to patch this ASAP!! Cas is like my favorite part so if i cant use it the game is useless 😭😭
I’m going through the exact same thing. I really hope that they fix this soon. What has been helping me in CAS is constantly using my right stick (I play on PS5) to randomize what ever I can’t use my cursor to access. It could’ve hair, tops, whatever. That’s the only way I get it to work. I try moving my left stick at the same time to. That’s the only thing that has made CAS playable. I’m very disappointed.
I have the exact same issues on Xbox x & just came to see if anyone also had this issue ;(
