🔎[OVERVIEW] The Bug Forum

A place to report the bugs you come across.

The bug forum is the place for you to report issues that need fixing in the game. 

These threads give you some basic information on how it all works and how to report. Use the second link if you have any further questions about the functionality.

Each thread has a current status. More info can be found in the threads linked above. 

  • [UNDER INVENSTIGATION] are the ones Maxis is currently looking into to fix.
  • [REVIEW] has been prechecked by a CM or Hero+ to be looked into.
  • If your thread is marked as [INCOMPLETE] or [TROUBLESHOOTING] make sure to provide the information asked.
  • Threads that are tagged as [NEEDS INFO] typically call for affected save games. You can find instructions on how to send them here: [INFORMATION] How to Send User Files to The Sims 4 Team.

Make sure to check what's already been reported and instead of creating your own thread, upvote the existing threads. This will show Maxis how widespread an issue is. 

This forum is heavily moderated and issues get merged if something was already reported. Refer to this list for current open bug reports. Certain issues are tracked together in a bigger collection.

Please only post issues that you think aren't working as they're supposed to in the bug forum. If you have feedback on something you don't like, use the Feedback forum instead.

Bugs typically can't be easily solved by the user even though workarounds/mods may exist so the bug forum isn't the place to get help. It's a place to report a potential problem to Maxis. If you require help getting your game to run the best place is either the technical forum for your platform (Windows, Mac, Console) or Gameplay Issues.
