[Invitational Competition] HIDE LOBBY
Add a HIDE LOBBY function to invitational competitions, just like in ranked competitions. When the participant list is full (max 10 people), our characters and the names above them are invisible. Ranked competitions can have up to 20 people, and when we hide the lobby, we can still see our characters and the names above them. Hiding the LOBBY should also hide what prizes are available to win. Hiding the lobby would allow us to show our avatar to our invited friends. Why do we have the ability to buy various clothes and other gadgets if we can't show them to others because they're obscured by the participant list? This works fine in ranked mode. It is not difficult to do. EA_Groguet , EA_cuervoImpressions of F1 26
I play in Grand Prix mode because I want to use real F1 drivers. And I want the race to unfold realistically. When I completed the Miami Grand Prix at 100% race distance, Audi's Nico actually finished 7th and scored 6 points! I was so happy and satisfied to see an Audi finish so high up! This is exactly the kind of racing I want to see! Races where a wide range of drivers and teams can score points feel authentic and are incredibly fun! It feels unrealistic when the same few drivers always score the points! It’s also a thrilling moment during the race—whether in the lead pack or at the back—when a driver spins out and loses a huge amount of time! Incidents like that create opportunities for the midfield drivers to move up, making the race really exciting! Even Mercedes or McLaren drivers make mistakes in the real world sometimes, so it feels very realistic. The speed of the Mercedes cars is impressive and captivating! It’s a bit of a shame that they are sometimes too slow, but when they are fast, they gradually pick up the pace after the first pit stop, and by the end of the stint following the second pit stop, they are incredibly quick! That kind of progression feels so real and engaging! It really gives you the impression of "This is Mercedes!" What’s even more surprising—and realistic—is that Kimi is about one-tenth to two-tenths of a second faster per lap than George! That’s really exciting! That said, the Mercedes cars can sometimes be too slow, so I do wish they’d tweak that a bit. Also—and this isn't limited to Mercedes—for some reason, drivers who qualify at the front often seem to lose pace once the actual race starts. Come-from-behind victories are certainly fun, but in real F1, winning from pole position happens too! Ferrari is a bit slow, too... It’s realistic and fun to see mid-field drivers break into the top 10 during qualifying, but come race day, it feels like the usual suspects end up taking the points anyway. Since the same drivers keep scoring points, qualifying starts to feel like nothing more than a formality. Cadillac doesn't really have the potential to score points yet, so I’d rather see the other teams battling it out for the top 10 spots! As I mentioned earlier, I’m looking forward to seeing a variety of scenarios and outcomes—like Audi making it into the top 10! I prioritize realism when I play, so I pay close attention to the finer details! The graphics and handling are incredibly realistic; it’s a really enjoyable game! It’s a shame that the team speed settings are a bit too unrealistic! Overall, it’s a very well-made game, so I’m hoping for an update as soon as possible! The Malaysian-Bahrian Grand Prix
I don't know if anyone else has recommended this but, seeing as how Bahrain was cancelled this year and the FIA has decided to put Malaysia as a replacement track, for this year, is there any chance we can get the Malaysian track for the 2026 update pack, to keep it as close to this year as possible. I know its incredibly unlikely but it would be awesome. Just a thought.Better upgrade options.
EA_cuervo it would be nice to see a better upgrade menu with different options. The current set up has you selecting predetermined upgrades that are all around the same no matter what. It would be nice to have a different style menu where you could select different upgrades for different tracks that affect the car in different ways and also select different style upgrades that may impact your performance in the race. This would add a higher level of reality to the game as well as Get players thinking about what they really wanna do with their cars upgrade wise, instead of just picking from the generic style upgrades and it’ll give you better options for personalizing the vehicles also throughout your season game.F1 cars are not rallies
The rear has been stuck for years, making everyone use the flick technique, rally-style? What have you done to fix this? I still have no confidence in 2027, even though it was only a DLC. You could have done something and not just limited yourself to a copy-and-paste process, limited to a year of work and a few things. Just wanted to reach out to say that, like most, I'm loving the absolute dead nature of this game and the neglect of the 2026 Pack in general. Promised updated car models in later updates (obviously illuding the ever more un-present Sports Update) and the 2026 F2 Cars, and even if those are taking time to develop and add, why not just say? Why not communicate this stuff? Also where the **bleep** is the driver rating update? These current driver ratings actually honk and its extremely distracting seeing Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon dragging a supposedly slow Williams to 3rd every race, can you fix the game, or at least communicate whats coming up? Based off social media alone, you'd think the game is dead - and that's bcs it basically is. You guys somehow manage to produce a half decent product with promise of updates, yet kill any fun or livelihood with your terrible communication and slow development. Thanks for nothing.
