Having trouble linking your EA account? Use this FAQ to help troubleshoot issues you may have with your EA games on Steam. WHAT EA GAMES ARE ON STEAM? We’re frequently updating our Steam catalog. Check out our Steam store page for the most up-to-date list. LINKING YOUR ACCOUNTS You only need to link your accounts the first time you play an EA game on Steam. Sign into Steam. Launch an EA game from Steam by clicking Play. Install Origin if you haven’t already. Origin will launch and ask you to link your Steam account and your EA Account. Log in to Origin using your EA Account info or create a new EA Account. Steam will install your game and let you know when it’s ready to play. Note: You can only link one Steam account to one EA Account, so make sure you choose the right EA Account to link to. Unlinking accounts Want to unlink your Steam account? Contact us for help. INSTALLING EA GAMES THROUGH STEAM Once you’ve linked your accounts and installed your first EA game through Steam, installing future games gets a lot easier: Sign into Steam. Go to your Library. Select the game. Click Install. Click Next on the pop-up window to install the game. HOW DO I PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS? Origin-required games You can tell if a game is Origin-required if it says it “Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required.” For games that need Origin but you bought them on Steam, you’ll need to add your friends on Origin to play with them. You won’t be able to add friends on Steam. Steam-native games Native games on Steam don’t need Origin to launch, but you can only play with friends on the same platform as you. For example, if your friend is playing on Steam, you’ll need to play the game on Steam too. Add friends on Origin Adding friends on Steam Cross-play games Cross-play games can be played on Steam or Origin, and you can play with both Steam and Origin friends at the same time! To invite friends, you’ll need to add them in-game. What about game invites? You can only send game invites between Origin accounts. GOT QUESTIONS? Do I always need Origin to play EA games in my Steam library? You may need Origin to launch some EA games from Steam. When you do, Steam will tell you the game needs to be launched using a third-party DRM and will show Origin software installation in the system requirements. If I buy a game on Steam, can I buy DLC for that game on Origin? Yep! You can buy DLC both on Origin and Steam. If I buy a game on Origin, can I buy DLC for that game on Steam? Hi, I’m having trouble playing any EA Play game through Xbox Game Pass. Every time I try to launch a game, it redirects me to EA Play and asks me to purchase the full version. My EA account is correctly linked to my Xbox account, and my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is active. I’ve already tried restarting the apps, uninstalling and reinstalling EA Play and Xbox, but the issue persists. Has anyone experienced this before and knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!1.3KViews28likes42CommentsEA not recognising PC game pass

Dear EA Support, I am experiencing an issue activating EA Sports FC 25 on my computer. Every time I try to launch the game, I receive an error stating that the game could not be activated using the EA account I provided. I have followed all the tips given by the previous advisor, but I still can’t open my EA FC 25. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Steam, EA, and FC 25 overnight, but it still won’t open. Every time I try to launch it, it shows the same message as in the picture I sent in the file. I have also deleted the License file as instructed by the previous advisor. I have followed other steps from YouTube as well, but the result is still the same—I can’t open the game. Please help me. I even created a new EA account, but the same screen still appears as shown in the file. I’ve tried everything, including running EA as an administrator, deleting and reinstalling, but it still doesn’t work. I even deleted FC 25 and re-downloaded it, but it still won’t launch. Before this, I could play without any issues, but starting yesterday, this problem appeared. What else can I do? Please help me. I’ve spent the entire night trying to fix this, but there’s still no solution.900Views0likes16Comments[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!800Views1like17Comments[FIXED - Feb 13.] EA app doesn't recognise Epic Games EA Play membership?!

Hi, Im having an issue where all my EA games on steam are apparently locked, since my EA account has been closed (for some reason, I definitely did not do this). If I try to link my steam account to a new EA account, I get the error: Your accounts can’t be linked because your Steam account ------- already linked to your EA Account for 7a*****@disabled.ea.com. An EA Account can only be linked to one Steam account in its lifetime. I thought I would contact EA Support, but there I have another issue where the support page does not open properly! I open a case, I get an email with a link to said case, but when I click on it, it brings me to a page that says "Resume case". Clicking on Resume Case brings me to another page with no chat and a bunch of articles suggestions. This page also has a "Chat with us" button that, if clicked, opens another case. After a while, the case gets closed (I supposed this is because I cannot answer it). So basically I am locked out of my account and I cannot contact the support in any way. I tried with different browsers, to no avail.Solved400Views0likes3CommentsGame Pass not detected by Beta EA desktop app - Asks me to purchase a membership
I have Game Pass for PC and of course it includes EA play. I have updated both desktop apps Xbox and Beta EA Play desktop apps, even I reinstalled them from the official web sites https://www.ea.com/ea-app & https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/xbox-app-on-pc and still EA is asking me to get a membership. On the xbox app says that I can install Jedi Fallen Order since it is included with Game Pass through EA Play. I have cleared the cache of EA app, unlinked Xbox and EA and still same result. I never had this problem before and I have installed the game from EA app previously with no trouble until now.301Views8likes10CommentsI forgot my account email and can't log in
I have 2 ways to log into my account and both work, the first is directly through EA with a login and password (I know them) and the second is from my Steam which is linked to EA (I also have full access), but after logging in it asks me for a message from an email whose name I forgot. I created the EA account a long time ago and I just don't remember what email it has (If I remembered the email, I would be able to log in to the email, I understand what passwords I had). I play on this EA account without any problems using Steam (I just click play on Steam). The support team is going through a recovery procedure that treats me as a person who has no information about the account at all and no access either. I simply can't go through this procedure. It's been a long time since I registered this account and too many things have changed since then (My IP, country of residence, that's why I forgot my email, too much time has passed). Can people from tech support help me correctly in my situation? And how can I formulate this to them so that they don't carry out the recovery procedure for the tenth time, ignoring all the data and evidence that I have. Or maybe it's possible to somehow find out the email name (Let's say through Apex Legends or some other EA game, the link to my Steam is saved), Thanks in advance.Solved301Views0likes3CommentsMy PSN is linked to an unknown EA account!!
