Battlefield 6 - No to SBMM and YES to Server Browser
Been a huge fan of the Battlefield Franchise since I first started to play Battlefield 3 back in 2011. Ever since then I have purchased every Battlefield Game, DLC Pack and what have you and and almost exclusively played only Battlefield. Before this I was a COD player. COD never attracted me back once I got in on the Battlefield Sandbox and begun to play the game as part of a squad, choosing which class I was going to be based on what was happening in the game and how I could react to this to help my team and squad out. One of the great things I liked about it too was that every game was not the same because of the Sandbox, squad and class experience. If I was playing for a couple of hours, I don't think that I ever felt that I played the same round twice in that they played out differently every time, even if I was with the same squad and on the same map. Now that BF6 or whatever the new Battlefield will be called is coming closer to releasing, I hope some things from these older BF games come back. One of these is the Server Browser and Persistent Servers. Recently I have begun playing BF4 again consistently. It is great to see the old Server Browser there and being able to pick a game mode and series of maps that I want to play that are not like Portals 1000% Hardcore servers. Just normal BF with good maps and rotations. Being able to change my region and filter by ping has also been fantastic. I really hope that the new BF6 brings this back, or somehow splits it with Portal. Maybe portal has two options, Server Browser with Persistent Servers and then the custom side which we all get to make our own games in. With the launch of BF2042 we saw that there was no Server Browser and that what we got instead was Match Making. MM has been a big pain for a lot of reasons. We cant pick what map we want to play, we cant see what map is coming up next, if we load into a map we don't want to play we have to exit out and then try MM again which sometimes loads us back into the same map. There is no region filter or ping filter. A lot of the time MM can not happen because there are not enough people to start the game in my region (Australia) and this MM saga goes round and round. This all takes a lot of time and ruins the gaming experience, ultimately damaging the franchise. Which isn't good for us players or the BF franchise either. The second thing I would not like to see happen is Skill Based Match Making come into BF6. We all see and hear people complain about SBMM in the COD community. It's a little bit in Delta Force now as well and people are complaining that they are getting loaded into lobbies with bad ping because of their skill and all sorts. IMO SBMM would kill the next BF if it is brought in. Like everything, the more you do something the better you get at it. There are some guy's that spends hours and hours just practicing sniping, or flying choppers and they are elite at it. Part of the BF experience is the cannon fodder, is learning the classes, the weapons and their attachments, the various vehicle setups and maps. This is what contributes massively to the sandbox environment IMO. It's because of all these variables as well as other players, that makes every game different. If SBMM is brought in, then I feel we will loose that experience and pretty soon, every game will start to feel the same and turn into a sweaty grindfest which looses all those cool quirky BF moments. Anyhow, it's something I have been thinking about for a while. Thought I would share it and see what others thought or felt about the same two issues.
CONSOLES / MOUSE AND KEYBOARD SUPPORT for New battlefield 2025
Hello! Here I am referring to the discussion about mouse and keyboard support on consoles for the new battlefield that is currently in the works. With great hope and fear that this time EA and DICE will do whatever it takes to get support on consoles because over 10,000 players signed a petition for 2042 and NOTHING HAPPENED. With the CROSS PLAY option, every game deserves to have this support. What is your opinion on this? I personally have my doubts about it. Can DICE or EA tell us anything about this?
A quand un battlefield propre sans cheats
On en a marre d'avoir des jeux infestés de cheateurs en permanence. Pour palier a ca il y avait les serveurs privés que l on pouvait louer et on jouer tranquillement qu'avec des joueurs honnête et on passait de très bonne soirées . Maintenant avec vos serveurs publique de **bleep** c'est la cata le jeu est pourri. Vos escouades de 4 joueurs a **bleep** également pardonnez moi mais quand on est 5 ou 6 a vouloir jouer ensemble ben c'est bien dommage . Honnêtement le meilleur battelfied que vous aillez fait c'est le 4. Mais quand on a quelque chose de bien qui fonctionne et bien on le casse et on fait de la **bleep** au lieu de l améliorer. Et pourquoi parce qu'il faut des profits financiers. Le plaisir du joueur on s en tape voilà ce qui se passe . Nous on veut un Battelfield 4 avec des améliorations, des serveurs privés gérables par nos soins comme auparavant . mettre les consoles avec les consoles et les pc avec les pc trop de différences ciblage console semi auto trop d'avantage et les serveurs ne suivent pas entre le retour console et le retour pc de trop grosse différences. on veut pouvoir jouer sans cheat ( messieurs de EA et dice arrêtez d'en concevoir marre de toujours faire passer l argent avant le bonheur de vos joueurs) on veut un jeu propre des serveurs en bétons et se faire plaisir. Merci j'ai testé la béta et je ne suis pas convaincu on se dirige vers un battlfield call off isé. Map trop petites du gruyère impossible de jouer structuré ca sort de partout incohérence des réapparitions devant des joueurs ennemis . c'est de pire en pire plus on avance dans le temps et plus vous faite (excusez moi du terme) de la **bleep**. Redonnez nous le plaisir de jouer et non de rager parce que tout est déséquilibré .

No se pudo iniciar el juego, debido a un error en nuestro sistema, solucion
Hace poco se me presento este error al querer jugar battlefield 2042, pero ya es algo que me habia pasado anteriormente y no pude solucionarlo hasta que alguien en facebook me dio una solucion, pero por mas que lo busque en google no encontraba soluciones, aca se los dejo por si alguien esta pasando por lo mismo. Si estan jugando desde Steam, vayan a la pestaña superior izquierda donde dice ''steam'' luego a parametros y vayan a la parte donde dice ''en la partida'' luego en la opcion donde dice ''habilitar la interfaz de steam durante la partida'' y la desactivan, ahora van a la app de EA, en la parte superior derecha donde esta tu nombre le das click y luego se van a configuracion, les apareceran varias pestañas le dan a la que dice ''aplicacion'' se van todo hasta abajo y habra una opcion que dice ''superposicion en el juego'' la desactivan y listo, con eso queda solucionado si estas jugando desde EA app es la misma solucion pero solo en la app de EA, en la parte superior derecha donde esta tu nombre le das click y luego se van a configuracion, les apareceran varias pestañas le dan a la que dice ''aplicacion'' se van todo hasta abajo y habra una opcion que dice ''superposicion en el juego'' la desactivan y listo, con eso queda solucionado Espero les haya servido, les dejo capturas abajo del problema y donde ir para solucionarlo, saludosSecureBoot ._.
Felicidades EA, de todas las cosas que podían arruinar una beta, decidieron ponernos a pelear con la BIOS. Me encanta que ahora, para probar un juego que ni ha salido, tenga que: Convertir mi disco de MBR a GPT Jugar a adivinar menús ocultos en la BIOS Correr el riesgo de dejar mi PC como pisapapeles Todo para que un anticheat que igual no detiene a los cheaters me bloquee. Mis ganas de probar el juego se fueron tan rápido como mis FPS cuando compila shaders. Consejo gratis: dejen que la beta sea para probar el juego, no para probar la paciencia del jugador. PD: Ya somos varios que, por no querer romper el sistema por un juego, decidimos no jugar. El que pierde público aquí… no soy yo ;)
Не заходит на сервера
Играю на пятой плойке и на этой неделе решил скачать bf5. Захожу, запускаю поиск матча, происходит загрузка, после чего выкидывает в главное меню. Скачивал bf2042 и происходит тоже самое. В том числе и когда захожу на сервера через браузер. Сейчас такое же происходит в бете bf6, когда могу зайти на стрельбище и так далее, но при попытке зайти на сервер просто переносит на главное меню без каких либо уведомлений об ошибках
