BF4 Private Servers Getting Prioritized Over DICE Official Ones
How do some privately owned servers receive players from quicksearch when they're not even started up? For example, you can join Large Scale Battles through quicksearch and instead of being directed to an official Dice server, you end up on a privately owned server that, aside from you, has no players in it. As a server admin, it feels unfair that I need to reach a minimum of 6 players before my server receives players from quicksearch, while these other servers seem to populate completely automatically. Side note I'm on console and below I have attached a clip of me getting directed into a private & empty server.Assignment engineer expert doesn't progress

Not sure where to start, but the BF1 servers, especially EU’s servers, are absolutely broken. Servers get disconnected suddenly and kick everyone out, choosing to spawn in a vehicle disconnect you immediately. This issue has been going on for a while and EA slow to fix. As a paying and a premium member I feel I’m getting rubbed. EA has players money and left players with nothing.4.6KViews57likes42CommentsBattlefield 1 - Consistent stuttering every minute
Hello, I’ve been experiencing a strange stuttering issue in Battlefield 1 that occurs every minute (if I need to be more precise it's like on every 1 minute and 20-25 seconds). The game runs smoothly most of the time, but suddenly stutters for 5-6 seconds and then goes back to normal again. This happens consistently, making the experience frustrating, especially during intense gameplay. System Info: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D / drivers GPU: ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 / Game ready driver version: 572.83 MB: ASRock X670E Taichi / BIOS: 3.20 RAM: 64.0 GB (DDR5 / 2 x 32-bit / Expo) Storage: 2TB SSD OS: Windows 11 Pro (26100.3476) Drivers: All up to date Display: 3840x2160, 144 Hz; connected to GPU I played Battlefield 1 a year ago on the same PC (same setup) with no issues. Decided to take a break. After coming back recently, I noticed this stuttering. FPS remains stable before and after the stutter. Happens in both campaign and multiplayer. Even on main menu! Already tried few thinks: Lowering graphics settings (different resolutions, switch dx12 on/off, different quality settings) Updating drivers (swithcing from game ready to studio drivers) Verifying and repairing game files Clean install & reinstall the game on different playforms (EA App and Steam) I'm also attaching the recording where you can see the suttering clearly: Google Drive - decided to upload it on Google Drive since the file size is around 4GB. Stutter timings: 00:58, 02:20, 03:43, 05:05; 06:28 Also if you listen carefuly, you can hear the windows "device connected/reconnected" sound right after the stutter. Is it the anti-cheat system affecting the hardware (like blocking certain input devices), it might trigger the reconnect sound? Please let me know if any questions or anything else needed from my side. Waiting for your help! Thanks in advance!Solved462Views1like13CommentsHow to start a new character in Steam version of BF4 instead of EA account?
I recently purchased Battlefield 4 on Steam about 1-2 weeks ago. However, I have been playing Battlefield 4 on my EA account for the past 7-8 years. When I launch the game via Steam, it automatically logs into the character associated with my old EA account. I would like it to log into a new character specific to my Steam account instead. How can I achieve this? To clarify further, here is the situation: - I have been playing Battlefield 4 on my EA account for the past 7-8 years, and I have a well-established character there. - Recently, about 1-2 weeks ago, I purchased Battlefield 4 on Steam, hoping to start fresh with a new character. - However, when I launch the game via Steam, it automatically connects to my old EA account and logs into my existing character. - I would like to know how to configure the game so that it creates and logs into a new character specific to my Steam account instead of using the one from my EA account. Any guidance or steps to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Battlefield 3 performance bug caused by Render.PerfOverlayEnable console command
I recently downloaded Battlefield 3 again but it has been absolutely unplayable. I used to get about 80 fps on the same PC a few years ago, but now it has dropped down to 15 FPS. And I have this problem only with Battlefield 3. Every other game runs perfectly fine. I also discovered that I am not the only person with this problem, but a few other people have it too and have never been able to fix it. After some research online and testing, this issue is caused by a console command in the game called Render.PerfOverlayEnable. Setting it to 0 instantly fixes my FPS, but it resets everytime I respawn, so I have to keep doing it over and over again in a single game. I even tried creating a user.cfg file and adding the command in there as recommended by some people, but that didn't work either. Given the name of the command, I also tried disabling every single overlay I have and closing all applications except for BF3. But that didn't work either. My drivers are up to date, my Windows is up to date. Some people have suggested that Windows update could be the issue, but my friend also plays this game on a fully updated copy of Windows and has never had this issue. I'm honestly lost at this point. I've tried everything there is to try. It seems like such a niche issue that has affected very few players, and we still don't have a fix for it. If someone out there knows what's causing this, please help me fix this.
