Battlefield 1 (steam) is not launching, tried everything
Battlefield 1 not launching at all. I press play (doesn't matter if it's on steam or EA app), it says "preparing game", closes the EA app, then opens the EA app again while stopping the launch of BF1. After stopping launch it boots up EA app for less than 1 sec with pop up - some features have been disabled because the ea app launched from another application after that it will lauch EA app normaly but still no boot with game. Everything I've tried: Reinstalling Battlefield 1 - nothing Reinstaling, repairing, updating AntiCheat - nothing updating registry - nothing Reinstalling EA App - nothing Repairing EA App - nothing Clearing EA App Cache - nothing Verifying Game File Integrity on Steam - nothing Updating my graphics drivers - nothing Changing compatibility modes of both Battlefield 1 and EA App, Steam (Windows 8 and Run as Admin in every combination) - nothing Changing Battlefield 1 config file - nothing Checked Windows Defender - nothing Checked Firewall - nothing Changing EA App installation path - nothing I did everything Battlefield V and 2042 works fine. I have 2 copies of BF1. One is on EA and second is on Steam. I downloaded BF1 from steam and it just wohnt boot. now i cant even boot up that copy from BF1. Yesterday I once boot up that game and played for 4 hours. After i closed game it didnt boot up back. Please help me. I really want to play that game :(751Views2likes10CommentsBad Company Keeps Freezing
Trying to play the campaign and every so often the game will just crash. No error or anything; it just freezes on the spot and I have to manually go back to the dashboard and close/restart the game. Never happened to me 18 years ago so I dunno of it's a new issue. Has this happened with anyone else? I'm playing on Xbox Series XBF1 occasionally freezes entire PC
As the title says, occasionally when I play BF1, the game slows down visibly almost to a freeze. This slowing down is applied to the entire computer, and actually closing the game doesn't resolve the issue. I have to reboot my entire PC for it to run normally again. It's not a big problem, as it occurs say only once a month, but it is odd. My PC's fans don't speed up, and BF1 is the only application this happens with. This and the fact that closing the game doesn't fix it, makes me think that it is anti-cheat related. Anybody out there with the same issue, and perhaps with a solution? Iv been playing Battlefield 1 sence release date and took only 3 years worth of a break because conquest lobbies were not poping up and i returned last week and [STILL] there are barely any conquest lobbies, and as i write this there are 0 conquest lobbies for the past 2 days. I feel like EA doesnt care about us bf1 conquest enthusiasts or haven't for what feels like too long. please fix it...some of us built our 40k+ streaming career from playing ONLY conquest mode. Sincerely, my heart is crying at age 26 [Edit: All caps removed from title - ElliotLH]"Failed to connect to EA Online" Since launch.
I bought Battlefield 1 on Steam around 2024. Since the day I installed it, I have never been able to connect to multiplayer. Every time I select Multiplayer, I immediately receive the message "Failed to connect to EA Online. Online features will be unavailable." The message appears almost instantly. When we first bought the game, my brother was able to connect to multiplayer on his own PC using a different Steam account and EA account, so the issue appears to be specific to my account or installation. I have already tried: Reinstalling Battlefield 1 and the EA app. Verifying the game files through Steam. Clearing the EA app cache. Resetting Windows networking. Testing a mobile hotspot instead of my home internet. Confirming my Steam account is linked to the correct EA account. Confirming the EA app recognizes my ownership of Battlefield 1 and shows the Play button. Confirming my EA account has no bans or penalties. Confirming I can sign in to Battlefield Companion. I also checked the EA logs. The EASteamProxyVerbose.log shows the game launches successfully, but the authentication state remains: authenticated:false Other than that, there are no obvious errors in the log. I have also tried contacting EA Support, but every time I submit a case, the website redirects me back to support articles covering the troubleshooting I've already completed. No case is created, and nothing appears under My Cases, so I'm not sure how to contact an EA advisor. Has anyone experienced this before? If an EA Community Manager sees this, could you please help me get in touch with the appropriate EA support team or investigate whether this could be an account or Battlefield 1 authentication issue? Thank you.Battlefield 4 Infinite Loading Screen on Windows 11
Hello everyone, I have a problem with Battlefield 4 Premium Edition on PC. The game launches normally and I can access the main menu without any issues. However, whenever I try to start the campaign or join any multiplayer server, the game gets stuck on the loading screen forever. It never finishes loading, and I have to force close the game using Task Manager. I have already tried the following: - Repaired the game through the EA App. - Reinstalled and tested PunkBuster successfully. - Cleared the EA App cache. - Updated my NVIDIA graphics drivers. - Deleted the Battlefield 4 folder in Documents to reset the game settings. - Restarted my PC. - Disabled overlays. My PC specifications: - Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 - 16 GB RAM Has anyone experienced this issue before or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Battlefield Hardline - Cannot Fire with mouse LMB
I can't seem to fire using the LMB, also getting stuck at the early part of Episode 1 where I first learn to show badge going down the rooftop going to save Tyson. Every time I click M to show badge I instantly fire a shot without clicking LMB and dies. Getting stuck here and I can't get through.
