Infinite Loading/Black Screen After Returning to Marker or Completing Challenges
Platform: PC, PS5 (platform-independent) Description: Since Season 3, returning to the session marker (D-Pad up) occasionally causes the game to freeze on either the loading screen or a completely black screen. This happens approximately 1–2 times per hour. Same thing when completing challenges. The screen does not resolve, and the only way to recover is to force close the game (Alt + F4 on PC). Additional Details: The game continues running in the background. You can hear other players, and matches (e.g., OTL) continue without your participation. Occurs on both PC and PS5. Attached: video recording showing the issue. Steps to Reproduce: Play the game normally. Return to the session marker using D-Pad up or finish a challenge. Occasionally, the loading screen will freeze or go black. Frequency: 1–2 times per hour Impact: Prevents gameplay and requires forced shutdown.
Ledge sends me flying
Hedgemont Blue Light Beach northside stair set It's the spot at the top of the map North of Bonski Park under the highway. It has a parking lot connected on the left side and has a long wavy rail on the stair set. Start at the middle of the parking lot where the center divider is and go east towards the stair set. There are 3 ledges on the left side of the stairs that you can grind and drop from the 1st ledge to the 2nd, to the 3rd and drop down to the ground at the bottom of the stairs. When I go from the top of the stairs and gap to the 2nd ledge, I'm sent flying towards the water, against the rail, or forward towards the lunch tables that are at the bottom of the stairs at high speed. I even continued to gain speed until crashing into something. It happened randomly when I made contact with the wall of the 1st ledge just before getting to the 2nd ledge; made contact with the ground and the 2nd ledge; or made contact with only the 2nd ledge. I'm not sure if the grind matters for this to happen, but I was doing a BS Tailslide and remember it happening when I landed in 5-0, and 50-50. Hello, I’m playing skate. Early Access on PS4 and my game is softlocked on the mandatory mission “Du fun dans les vagues” at Blue Light Beach. I completed all the objectives (waves, ledges and benches), and the mission then tells me to “Return to marker”. The problem is that the marker either does not appear at all, or it appears briefly and then disappears as soon as I enter the green area. Nothing happens after that and the objective stays stuck on “Return to marker”. Because this is a mandatory mission, I cannot progress any further in the game. I have already tried: Restarting the game multiple times Restarting my PS4 completely Changing sessions and areas Waiting inside the objective area Starting other activities Deleting my local save data and launching the game again None of these solutions worked and the issue persists. Could you please investigate this issue and, if possible, reset or repair my progression from the backend? Thank you.Freezing/Black Screen
Since season 3 that started to happen but since season 4 it’s almost impossible to play the game. im even scared to start a task, join a group or leave the group, that’s so frustrating. It happens doing whatever, it could be moving to a fast point, going to the island or city. It’s becoming impossible to finish the task or get blue tickets as I couldn’t join a group or yes but as soon as they/I start the task it just get the black screen. I’ve tried this with the last task of the event 3 times then shut down the ps4 as it no possible. I already did all the steps they say on the website, licences, delete the game and none of that works. Please solve this, I feel I payed premium pass for nothing as I can’t play
Neighbourhood Progress reset & stuck at 0 / 0
Description of the issue: Right after the Season 3 maintenance was over and I hopped in to check things out, all of my neighbourhood levels and progress got reset/bugged out. They are simply stuck at 0 / 0 and will not update or progress at all. Can't buy any product boxes either, even if it shows that I already have multiple boxes unlocked in said neighbourhood. It's been like this two weeks. Steps to trigger/reproduce the issue: Start the game as usual Look at the 0 / 0 on your current neighbourhood and wonder if all your progress gone Write bug report and hope for the best. I've seen a handful of other people post on reddit and the discord with the same issue. Still no acknowledgement as a known bug, which worries me a ton. Platform: PC (Steam) Troubleshooting steps already performed: Validated files through Steam. Reinstalled game completely. Attempted to run a few missions both old and new in every neighbourhood hoping it would fix things. No luck.
