Missing 4K texture on premium board art
There is a bug with the Real Nicole Ember deck where the board art is low res, with pixellated, jagged edges to the tribal patterns and letters. I’ve attached a picture below showing the problem. I am playing in 4K on PS5 and the adjacent textures such as the OJ wheels and Hawaiian shirt appear crisp, so I suspect the board has not had its 4K texture added. This is the second instance of this bug that I have noticed, having previously reported the black and orange Creature deck for the same resolution bug. That issue went unaddressed for months, but was silently patched with Season 4. My hope is that the problem with the Nicole Ember deck will be more easily rectified, seeing as there’s precedent for fixing the issue. However, it‘s a frustrating problem to encounter on a paid cosmetic, and worrying that it forms a trend. Issues like this shouldn’t be occurring, given skins and textures are the lifeblood of this game.
Grab launch glitch
In the current build of the game, grabbing right as you're about to grind a ledge or rail seems to launch you very high into the air, it's also made much easier with fingerflips. I only investigated this in a small area of market mile, but hopefully this is enough to go off of. Video available here
Account reset
I wanted to play skate with my friends after a while and when i logged in, all of my progress was gone, and it was asking me to create a new character. I have multiple achievements hours and cosmetics in this game and would rather not lose that progress. I have linked my playstation accounts, contacted an EA assistant, which was unfortunately unable to help me. I am playing on the PS5 version
Blackscreen and lock up on launch
I made the mistake of updating Windows the other day (oops) and since then, 4 out of 5 attempts to launch skate. have resulted in a black screen and hard lock up of my PC, can't get to task manager, can't alt-tab, PC completely locks up and requires a forced shut down. I've seen other people complain about this, and I can now report it's a SUPER FUN BUG. I will not bother trying to launch skate. again as I'm now afraid it will brick my PC. So I can't progress on my season pass, which I paid for (also oops). THANKS A BUNCH! Maybe consider telling the AI that codes your game to stop &%^ing up so hard! As far as I'm concerned, anyone affected by this bug who's bought your season pass should be compensated all items from the season pass including the SVB. I already unlocked all the SVB and don't even want the rest of the items I haven't unlocked but it's the principle. This is crap. Fix this.
