EA, please bring "Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection" to GOG.
Hello EA, I realize you're going through some serious business changes (or preparing to), but I wanted to bring this up sooner than later. EA hasn't released any "new" old games on GOG in probably 8 or more years, and I think many GOG users would like to see that change. "Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection" has over 85,000 votes on the GOG Dreamlist. https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/command-conquer-the-ultimate-collection I realize that's not a billion dollar deal, but I wouldn't call it an "unworthy" revenue stream either. (There are a lot more EA games people want other than this, but I figured it might help to post a specific series (at least for now).) I have also suggested other GOG users politely post here to show support. To the moderator: please do your best to ensure this "bubbles up" the chain of command, as best you can. I do recognize there's only so much you can do. Thank you.
Time for a new C&C Remaster
Hello EA Games and hello fellow C&C fans! The C&C Remastered Collection was a success for EA, both loved by gamers and also sold very well. Just this year C&C The Ultimate Collection went live on Steam and immediately got into the top 20 most popular steam titles where it held for like a month EA's surprise megadump of classic Command & Conquer games means Europe's March game sales were dominated by 25-year-old RTSes, beating WWE 2K24 and Nintendo (article by PC Gamer) It's been 4 years and complete radio silence from EA on the future of C&C as a real RTS game on PC and console, where the series belongs, no offense to mobile gamers. The demand for say a second remastered collection with Red Alert 2, Tiberian Sun or Generals or who knows maybe a completely new title is there and it's real. People on the C&C communities in Reddit and Facebook still ask about it regularly although they're beginning to doubt if we'll ever see something. The release of C&C Ultimate Collection on Steam this March and the huge success it was made fans hopeful that this actually means EA has not forgotten about the series and was planning to do something with it. The guys at Petroglyph and Lemon Sky who did the first remasters have said they're willing to do it again, the community wants it, the games sell well, what more is needed? We're eagerly awaiting to hear back from EA Games as we always have been throughout the years. Red Alert 1 original game is stuck on the menu screen. No selection's
Hello, Red Alert 1 the original game is not able tos tart on windows 11. I own both games on EA App, Origin, and Steam. But for now, the version from EA app stops at the red alert screen. No intro, no cutscenes. Just right into the red alert menu where you are suppose to select, new mission, counterstrike and aftermath, are no where to see. It's almost like the background is only a picture. I will attach a picture. Is there any solution for this. I am running on windows 11 at the moment.
