EA Javelin Anticheat & Recent Software Blocks
Hey all, AC from the anti-cheat development team here. It is normally our preference not to enforce system-wide blocks, so I want to take a moment to explain what's been happening with the Disc-Soft block and why we're in this situation. Last year, many anti-cheat teams, including EA's, enforced blocks on ReWASD software as the community there has been sharing scripts to do cheat-like behavior in games, like disabling recoil in shooter games, or complete skill-based input challenges in games (in FC, called green time), every time without actually completing the physical skill-check yourself. While we understand the need to allow key remapping software for many reasons, including accessibility ones, there is already support for this within EA Javelin Anticheat, such as Steam's Input features configured directly inside the Steam Client, or through Microsoft's Keyboard Manager. Since the block was first implemented, the software developer has adopted new methods of registering virtual devices on users’ machines to bypass anti‑cheat checks, all while ignoring the cheat‑like macros and scripts that continue to circulate. To ensure these cheat scripts are blocked, we have moved to block their virtual hardware and the driver behind it. To continue playing games with EA Javelin Anticheat, please uninstall their software from your machine. I would encourage users to also give feedback to the vendor, in the hopes that their behavior will change. If tools like ReWASD stop using the driver and virtual hardware devices they register, we can resume blocks only on that software, and you can resume using their other software. Keep it fair, AC

High CPU usage while downloading
I have high CPU usage while downloading. There was no such problem in the past. Looks like EA App is doing Bitcoin Mining. Why not! :/

Price issue of BF6 Steam and EA APP in China
Why is BF6 priced at only RMB 268 on Steam, which is only 291 in HK, but 549HK on the EA app? This is unreasonable. Please ask the EA app to provide Chinese players with the same purchase price. Or we can only purchase it on Steam.

I don't like this app.
I bought ME:LE on Steam. I want to play it but I heard the EA app was buggy, ate money, and had privacy concerns. I thought to myself: "That sounds right about in line with EA." So I used the Origin workaround for a while until you guys dropped Origin. Now I can't play Mass Effect without being taxed somehow. Even though I already bought the game. I just won't then. You took away Mass Effect just like you took away the studio that made it. I miss EA from the 90's. I wish you guys cared about people and not just money. You won't get any more from me. -Disappointed gamer

Can't install EA App from the installer (PLS IM TIRED OF THIS SHI-)
I just downloaded the installer yesterday, it went well and smooth when I opened it, and install the whole thing. I even managed to install TS 4 AND PLAY IT for a few minutes. UNTIL THE APP SUDDENLY CRASHED **bleep** OUT. I've tried everything, reinstall it, repair my microsoft visual c++, clean the cache, changing the TEMP location. It has been a whole day. I can lunch the installer, but everytime I try to install the app, it went error, the error code is INST-21-32 (This appear if I launch it as admin) and INST-21-577 (This one if I launch it normally). I don't even know how many forums I've read, or videos that I've watched on youtube. I'm just so tired of this thing.. I miss origin T^T.
