EA Javelin Anticheat & Recent Software Blocks
Hey all, AC from the anti-cheat development team here. It is normally our preference not to enforce system-wide blocks, so I want to take a moment to explain what's been happening with the Disc-Soft block and why we're in this situation. Last year, many anti-cheat teams, including EA's, enforced blocks on ReWASD software as the community there has been sharing scripts to do cheat-like behavior in games, like disabling recoil in shooter games, or complete skill-based input challenges in games (in FC, called green time), every time without actually completing the physical skill-check yourself. While we understand the need to allow key remapping software for many reasons, including accessibility ones, there is already support for this within EA Javelin Anticheat, such as Steam's Input features configured directly inside the Steam Client, or through Microsoft's Keyboard Manager. Since the block was first implemented, the software developer has adopted new methods of registering virtual devices on users’ machines to bypass anti‑cheat checks, all while ignoring the cheat‑like macros and scripts that continue to circulate. To ensure these cheat scripts are blocked, we have moved to block their virtual hardware and the driver behind it. To continue playing games with EA Javelin Anticheat, please uninstall their software from your machine. I would encourage users to also give feedback to the vendor, in the hopes that their behavior will change. If tools like ReWASD stop using the driver and virtual hardware devices they register, we can resume blocks only on that software, and you can resume using their other software. I am starting to think that they know what they are doing, seeing that the forum was the only resource that popped up when I was researching a problem I was pleasantly surprised to see a "contact us" button at the bottom of the support page. Now I was fully expecting an AI assistant, at least before speaking with support staff or having a ticket created, but what EA has created is well beyond any other assistant I have ever had the displeasure of navigating. Every single prompt from EA NextStep comes with little to no regard of the information you entered into the window previously. Beyond stating your name multiple times be prepared to state your problem, game, and system multiple times in repeat. And for those of you as gullible as me, hoping, praying to at least have an actual ticket created and maybe get a chance to have another person review your problem, let me save you the effort. At the end of each session with EA NextStep it will prompt you to the EA "Self Help" guide where the AI chose an article for you to read and hopefully fix the problem yourself, the only problem, it doesn't actually listen to your problem. I was trying to solve the random EA app failure on PC and beyond having to give it all of the important information multiple times, I was offered a generic "game help" article, a "login help" article, and a "connectivity troubleshooting" article, none of which actually addressed the problem or the fact that I had attempted many of the steps those articles were suggesting before trying to find more help. If anyone has a solution to the EA app bug, I would be very appreciative, but I will not hold my breath on EA finding the solution, as the multitude of threads on and off of this site complaining about the exact issue I was having, and the EA proposed solution, if all else fails, factory reset, and the EA app and EA games are just not worth that effort.350Views4likes8CommentsPlay Pro Subscription problem
Dear EA, I have a few questions about your products and how badly you manage your developer's and QA's teams how hard is for you to make sure that you sell a nice and ready product I am paying every month about 18$ for your Play Pro membership and half of this time ether there is problem with servers or there is a problem with your products who is gonna compensait all people around the world like me which are scrulled by your services? Almost 1 hour has passed after you launched the EA FC26, and still, a problem, and every player using the EA PLAY PRO subscription membership can't log in. What are you gonna do about that, except to just fix these problems of yours? P.S. The live support is totally useless. I gave him all the information I could give him with in regards to getting help for unlinking an old EA account that I don’t ever remember connecting to my PlayStation or even making for that matter they told me that they couldn’t help me out with anything anymore because I couldn’t verify being associated with that email so they said that they couldn’t do anything at all because it was out of their hands and there was no way for them to work around it. Hello everyone. I have played battlefield since it first came out as 1942. My origin/ EA app dates back to 2010. On 11/02/2025 I was away with the family but somehow got banned for misconduct. Think it should not be to hard to rectify I went on their website and filled out he appeal. it took them a little over two days to get back to be with a denied. No reason why. I then again appealed it. within about 20 minutes they denied it again with out a reason. This went on for hours. I then decided to go the the online chat with their advisors. I have proof they are not human but indeed AI. Same goes for the TOS team. There seems to be no way to get in contact them other than email of a appeal. They have no supervisor or manager above them and nobody that works at EA seems to know their whereabouts. Per the EA Customer agreement we have the right to request a actual human to look over our account and make a judgment. It states it in chapter 15. It also states on the EA help website that their TOS department is actual humans and their advisors are actual humans. After calling them out on their chat with a fake advisor they then have somehow prevented me from accessing their advisor chat. I will be posting this proof of my findings on this website and every other social media website as well. The will be taken to arbitration since that is what we are allowed to do per the Customer agreement. Hello to all of you. Im tired of it, but i did it! Only way how you can reset old connection of account is to wait for chat agent from support. EA have the worst support what ive ever experienced! Maybe also small Pakistani shop have a better support that EA! I was waiting day by day- together 6days to get in touch with someone. But today i succeeded and i was finaly chatting with an agent. He unlinked the old EA account and im able to link it with my new. as i said- its a biggest **bleep** ever, but there is no other way to solve it. Can anyone help me please! My 10 year old is on his xbox with xbox live we bought him F1 25 with the idea of myself playing with him on my pc. He's playing it offline and online and I've tried to import him as a friend through me EA app and I get '' Couldn't send request '' I thought I would log into his account put his email in and then his password and I get '' Your credentials are incorrect or have expired. Please try again or reset your password.'' I reset his password and I get them same again I don't understand what's going off what am I missing? Can anyone point me in the right direction please? We bought the game to race against each other and to make a team together seems a waste of money now! We both had F1 24 on my game pass and thought we couldn't play 24 because of that both using my xbox game pass. Dear EA Support / Community Team, I am writing to express my sincere hope that you will consider bringing back my childhood game Village Life. This was not just a game to me, it was more then games . I spent a significant amount of time building my village and connecting with the gameplay. Furthermore, I have invested money into various in-game , and it is disappointing to no longer have access to the content I purchased . There is still a very dedicated community of players who love this game and would return to it in a heartbeat. , we would love to see Village Life live again.
