EA Javelin Anticheat & Recent Software Blocks
Hey all, AC from the anti-cheat development team here. It is normally our preference not to enforce system-wide blocks, so I want to take a moment to explain what's been happening with the Disc-Soft block and why we're in this situation. Last year, many anti-cheat teams, including EA's, enforced blocks on ReWASD software as the community there has been sharing scripts to do cheat-like behavior in games, like disabling recoil in shooter games, or complete skill-based input challenges in games (in FC, called green time), every time without actually completing the physical skill-check yourself. While we understand the need to allow key remapping software for many reasons, including accessibility ones, there is already support for this within EA Javelin Anticheat, such as Steam's Input features configured directly inside the Steam Client, or through Microsoft's Keyboard Manager. Since the block was first implemented, the software developer has adopted new methods of registering virtual devices on users’ machines to bypass anti‑cheat checks, all while ignoring the cheat‑like macros and scripts that continue to circulate. To ensure these cheat scripts are blocked, we have moved to block their virtual hardware and the driver behind it. To continue playing games with EA Javelin Anticheat, please uninstall their software from your machine. I would encourage users to also give feedback to the vendor, in the hopes that their behavior will change. If tools like ReWASD stop using the driver and virtual hardware devices they register, we can resume blocks only on that software, and you can resume using their other software. Keep it fair, AC4.3KViews19likes0CommentsPlease change the rules regarding EA ID
You can use a hyphen and underscore in your EA ID, but these symbols are not counted as different unique characters (for example: If I create an EA ID " asd123 " and someone else wants that EA ID too, they won't be able to create different variations of that EA ID, for example " asd_123 " or " asd_123- ", or any other possible variations with those symbols, and I think it works the other way around too, if I create an EA ID " asd_123- ", another person won't be able to take just " asd123 "). I want to use a specific EA ID, but I can't... Please make a hyphen and an underscore count as completely different characters. In most other gaming platforms these symbols are counted as completely different characters. I chatted with a EA Help advisor about this and he said to submit my claim here in the forum.899Views0likes3CommentsCan't access FC 26 - Verification Codes

I bought the game by pre-order on steam, everything works, I can log in to play, but there is no battlefield 6 app in the EA app, I cannot receive the veteran's award and other awards.Steam and EA app are linked to each other, I tried deleting the apps and installing them again, it doesn't help. There is no such problem with the EA 25 purchased on steam, and it is displayed correctly in the EA app. I did what the employee advised: reinstalled the EA app, Use the built-in EA app recovery tool , I see Star Wars purchased on steam and need fo speed also purchased on steam Only battlefield 6 purchased on steam is not displayed in the EA app. 5 EA employees with whom I chatted could not solve this problem and the only thing they could advise was to post it on the forum.Solved300Views1like8CommentsEA TOS Not Following Their Own Customer User Agreement
Hello everyone. I have played battlefield since it first came out as 1942. My origin/ EA app dates back to 2010. On 11/02/2025 I was away with the family but somehow got banned for misconduct. Think it should not be to hard to rectify I went on their website and filled out he appeal. it took them a little over two days to get back to be with a denied. No reason why. I then again appealed it. within about 20 minutes they denied it again with out a reason. This went on for hours. I then decided to go the the online chat with their advisors. I have proof they are not human but indeed AI. Same goes for the TOS team. There seems to be no way to get in contact them other than email of a appeal. They have no supervisor or manager above them and nobody that works at EA seems to know their whereabouts. Per the EA Customer agreement we have the right to request a actual human to look over our account and make a judgment. It states it in chapter 15. It also states on the EA help website that their TOS department is actual humans and their advisors are actual humans. After calling them out on their chat with a fake advisor they then have somehow prevented me from accessing their advisor chat. I will be posting this proof of my findings on this website and every other social media website as well. The will be taken to arbitration since that is what we are allowed to do per the Customer agreement. But if the judge finds they misled and lied then their could possibly be criminal charges allowed against them and class action lawsuit can be filled.226Views1like8CommentsEA Game Versions
If I have two versions of a game, one license on Steam and the other license from the EA app. Does it give me the ability to choose which platform to download and update the game? For example: I have Battlefield 2042 on Steam, but it does not give me the option to buy the EA Version or even download from the EA app stating that I should manage the game from Steam. So what happens if I redeem a EA app version of Battlefield 2042 alongside my Steam licensed version? Does it add a EA app version of the game, does it merge both licenses giving access to both platforms, or does it reject the license because I already have it on Steam? I tried this with Starwars Battlefront 2, I originally had a EA App version of it, and I also have a EPIC Games Store version. Upon installing the EPIC Games Store version, it changed my Battlefront 2's artwork cover adding the EPIC logo on top of it in my EA App library. It allows me to download either from the EPIC Games Store or the EA App, I did not even need EPIC Games Store installed because it recognises my EPIC version even without the EPIC Games Store being installed. Now from what I undestand Steam manages it's own installation and updates, where as EPIC required the EA App to cover the backend installation. If I did not own an EA version of Starwars Battlefront 2, then would that mean I would only beable to initialise the installation from the Epic Games Store and not the EA app exclusively. If you can not manage multiple platform versions, then this really should be looked at by either allowing the individual to select between EA App, Epic or Steam. Additionaly, I also want to point out that the inability to change the games artwork to remove the Steam or Epic logo is also rather annoying. EA App Artwork: No Logo identifying the EA app version. Steam and Epic Artwork with Logos identifying the version. But what if we own two versions of the same game on different platforms, what happens to the artwork in your library?214Views1like4CommentsEA app on Steam Deck?
So, I am planning the transaction of a steam deck. I want it for a few reasons, but a main reason is Sims Legacy. I bought The 25th birthday bundle last week and I decided that I want to play it on the go. So I want to buy Valve's portable PC known as the Steam Deck, but is the EA app available on the Steam Deck? It is kinda where I bought the games.167Views0likes4Comments
