Years of Unnoticed Reports: A Comprehensive Feedback & Bug Archive
After years of actively contributing and sharing feedback on the EA Forums, I find myself deeply frustrated. Over the years, countless reported issues and well-thought-out suggestions seem to go completely unnoticed; most bugs remain unfixed, and many threads don't appear to be reviewed at all. This frustration doesn't stem from negativity, but rather from a profound passion and love for the franchise. Every year, I tried to resist this feeling of discouragement simply because of my passion for the game. However, this time, after dedicating an immense amount of effort, time, and detailed documentation, it truly feels unappreciated. What makes this even more disheartening is that the vast majority of these FC 27 issues were already present and documented during the Closed Beta. I had previously reported them in the private FC 27 Beta forums, and I merely reposted them here upon full launch with minor refinements and the visual proofs (screenshots and videos) that I couldn't share earlier due to the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). All of these problems should have been resolved back then when feedback volume was controlled and easily manageable for the development team. As concrete proof of this lack of review: looking at the YouTube analytics for the video evidence I meticulously recorded and attached to many of these bug reports, they often sit at just 1 view—and sometimes literally 0 views. Even that single view often just comes from me verifying the upload. Despite that, I have compiled below a comprehensive index of all the bug reports, feedback analyses, and feature proposals I have submitted to help improve the game. I truly wish I could join the QA and game development team overseeing quality assurance and issue tracking, to help make this game as great as it deserves to be. Moving forward, I will continuously keep this thread updated whenever I submit or document any new reports, feedback, or concepts. My FC 27 Ultimate Team experience so far I’ve been playing FC 27 for about a week after being very comfortable with FC 26, and honestly, I’m struggling to enjoy the game so far. My biggest issue is defending. It feels extremely difficult to actually win the ball back, especially against players who are good at dribbling. Defenders often feel unresponsive, while attackers can get past them very easily. I understand that manual defending should require skill, but right now it feels more frustrating than rewarding. I’m also struggling with passing. Even after winning the ball, I often lose it again immediately because simple passes don’t always seem to go where I expect them to. Another problem is Ultimate Team Live Events. The matchmaking often feels very unbalanced, with opponents who seem far above the level of the event. This makes some challenges extremely difficult or even practically impossible to complete. I’m not asking for the game to be easier, but I do want the gameplay to feel more consistent and rewarding when you play well. I really hope EA takes a look at defensive responsiveness, passing consistency and Live Event matchmaking. I’d love to hear if other players coming from FC 26 are experiencing the same problems.4Views0likes0Comments120hz Refresh Rate Standard PS5
Since other Games can run 120hz Mode even tho they have way more graphical features why EA FC can not do it on normal ps5. its possible on xbox and pc but not on ps5(the latest sony console). i think thats an issue not so many people Talk about, its delaying competion on crossplay between consoles and its literally forcing u to either buy an xbox or spend hundreds of Euros for the ps5 pro or thousands of Euros for a pc. is it or should it possible to enable 120hz in fc27 on ps5: absolutely are ea Sports just to lazy to fix it: Yes! Because they dont give a **bleep** about the community or dont want to put in the work well in some points they care, but for every good thing they do, they manage to do a bad thing.2Views0likes0CommentsDo the devs even play grounds? (Clubs)?
Do the devs even play the grounds? (Clubs? no offense but how is it that even from the beta you still get the glitch starting a club match to not seeing anyone in the field and you get booted back to the menu then grounds back again? Do you guys enjoy us doing this every time we wanna play? I took a break for a few days and hoping they fixed it by now and can’t even play two matches with a friend without that happening every other gameThe gameplay has become way too fast – and something clearly changed recently.
The gameplay has become way too fast – and something clearly changed recently. About a week ago, the gameplay felt much more normal and enjoyable. Since then, something seems to have changed, possibly after a recent update or gameplay adjustment. The game is now far too fast and unrealistic. Players sometimes accelerate to an absurd level, especially when they start running. Once a player gets going, the acceleration is so extreme that there is almost nothing you can do to defend against it. Even some close-range shots seem to accelerate unnaturally fast, making the whole game feel completely unrealistic. Another major problem is the AI defending. Defending has become extremely difficult, and the defensive AI often feels completely ineffective. It is almost impossible to defend properly against the constant running and attacking. At the moment, the gameplay basically feels like: Run. Run. Turn. Run. Run. Turn. Run. That’s it. Everything happens so quickly that there is barely any time to read the game, make a decision, or actually play football. The result is that matches are turning into ridiculous scorelines like 8–7 or 7–6. That is not enjoyable football gameplay. I really hope EA looks into what has changed recently, because FC 27 did not feel like this just a week ago. Whether it was caused by an update, a gameplay change, or something else, the current pace needs to be addressed. Until this is fixed, I honestly don’t enjoy playing the game anymore. I want to play a football simulation, not an arcade game where every player accelerates like a rocket. Please investigate the recent gameplay changes and bring the pace and acceleration back to a more realistic level.Removing secondary positions for Evos
Hello! I have been getting frustrated by some of the Evolution restrictions lately and I think there is an easy and ideal fix. It would be great if there would be a way (perhaps via a repeatable Evolution similar to the Roles++ ones) to remove secondary positions from player cards to help with Evolution eligibility. It's annoying not being able to apply Evos to your favourite players due to a restrictive secondary position that you never plan on using anyway, e.g. a ST having a secondary CAM position. I think that the primary position of a player should be locked and not be removable, but the ability to permanently remove a secondary position from a player to allow for Evo eligibility would be an amazing option and allow for more flexibility in evolving your favourite players. I can imagine others will have encountered similar feelings so I'd love to hear back from anyone who has and try and get such a feature implemented soon, so I can start evolving Troy Parrott and not be held back by his CAM position!23Views2likes0CommentsGender-Aware Physical Scaling for More Authentic Men’s & Women’s Football
I would like to suggest a gameplay improvement for EA SPORTS FC that could make both men’s and women’s football feel more authentic without requiring completely separate game engines. Currently, women’s and men’s players can share the same Ultimate Team squad. I think this is a great feature, but it creates an issue with physical attributes. For example, a women’s player can have a very high Physical rating because she is an elite physical player relative to women’s football, while a male player such as Virgil van Dijk may have a lower Physical rating. When both players are placed in the same match, however, these ratings are effectively interpreted within the same physical gameplay system. The problem is that a player's card rating is a relative evaluation within their football environment, while physical interactions in a mixed-gender match represent absolute physical characteristics. My suggestion Keep the existing player ratings exactly as they are, but introduce a second layer of physical normalization in the gameplay engine. For example: Physical, Strength, Jumping, Stamina, Acceleration, Balance, Body Type, Height and Weight could remain the player's original attributes. When calculating physical interactions, the game could use a normalized physical value based on the player's biological and physical profile. Women’s and men’s football could therefore use different physical scaling parameters while still using the same underlying physics engine. In mixed-gender Ultimate Team matches, the engine could calculate physical interactions using these normalized values rather than simply comparing the displayed Physical ratings. This would mean that a player could still have 91 Physical on her card because she is an elite physical player in women’s football, without automatically being interpreted as physically stronger than a male player with 85 Physical in a direct physical duel. This could go even further When playing women’s football separately from men’s football, the game could use different calibrated movement and physical parameters for each. This would allow: More authentic match tempo More realistic acceleration and deceleration More realistic physical contact More natural momentum More appropriate strength-to-body-size interactions Different movement characteristics between men’s and women’s football A stronger sense that women’s football is its own authentic football experience rather than simply using the same physical model with different players Importantly, I am not suggesting lowering women’s player ratings or making women’s players artificially weaker. The goal is the opposite: make the ratings more meaningful by separating relative player ratings from absolute physical simulation. The same underlying gameplay engine could still be used. The difference would simply be in the parameters and normalization used by the physics calculations. I believe this could make EA SPORTS FC significantly more realistic while preserving the ability to use women’s and men’s players together in Ultimate Team. It would also be a meaningful gameplay innovation rather than just another rating, animation, or visual update.5Views0likes0CommentsEvolutions No Longer Feel as Exciting as FC26
I’ve noticed that Evolutions don’t feel nearly as engaging in FC27 as they did in FC26. In FC26, Evolutions were one of the main reasons I wanted to log into the game every day. They gave Ultimate Team a different feeling and created excitement around developing players. Every player could have their own unique Evolution journey, and I genuinely enjoyed searching for players and planning which Evolutions to use on them. However, in FC27, Evolutions feel much more limited. We are restricted by too many requirements, and there are far fewer opportunities to create players that actually fit our squads and playstyles. It has now been a month since the game launched, and I haven’t evolved a single player because I simply haven’t found Evolutions that make me want to invest my time into them. I understand that Evolutions need to be balanced with SBCs, rewards, and the Transfer Market. However, I think the current system has gone too far in the other direction. I would really like EA to reconsider this and give players more freedom and more reasons to engage with Evolutions again. They were one of the features that made FC26 feel different, and I believe they could bring that same excitement back to FC27. What do you think? Do Evolutions feel less exciting to you this year compared to FC26?12Views1like1CommentStressful rather than entrentainment
Dear EA FC Gameplay Team, I’ve played FIFA and EA Sports FC for around 16 years. This series used to be my stress relief, but FC 27 has reached a point where it often adds to it. The gameplay often feels unresponsive, and skill moves don’t register consistently. It makes my years of playing feel less meaningful. I’m not asking for an easier game. I’m asking for a game where my ability matters again. I understand that adapting to a new game requires time, and I’m always willing to improve. But right now, there are moments where I know exactly what I want my player to do, I execute the input correctly, and the game simply doesn’t seem to respond the way I expect. For someone who has played this series for approximately 16 years, that is extremely frustrating. I want FC 27 to challenge me. I want my opponents to be able to outplay me. I want to lose because another player was better — not because the gameplay felt inconsistent or because my inputs didn’t translate reliably onto the pitch. I’m sharing this because I genuinely care about the game and want it to succeed. FC has been part of my entertainment for a huge part of my life, and I would love to feel that same excitement and enjoyment again. I’m not asking EA to make the game easier. I’m asking EA to make it feel more responsive, consistent, and skill-based. Thank you for taking the time to listen to long-time players. Sincerely, Yamuel Betancourt11Views1like0Comments
