Mass Effect 1 2007 CD-Ver
Hello, I've been tinkering with an old Pentium 4 machine these last days and wanted to install my Mass Effect 1 CD-ver game on it (Running WinXP, 32-bit). The problem i'm having is when I try to launch the game, it gives an error message saying: "The game can not start. The game needs access to the internet in order to verify ownership of this game. Please ensure that your computer is online and try again" I know for a fact that it is connected to the internet and there is a stable connection, so my only conclusion is that the EA/ME servers for verification has been taken offline. Is there no way to get this game to work on an old XP 32-bit machine? As far as I know support for EA APP/Origin for 32-bit systems has ended, which also makes it impossible to buy through that storefront. Now I know I could just install a 64-bit system, but i'm trying to run it on legacy hardware. Any way to solve the connection/verify issue without having to upgrade to 64-bit?ME3 PC Needs "Online Pass"
Hi! I am having an issue with Mass Effect 3 (2012) on PC. It is giving me an error when I try to click on the "Multiplayer" button. The error tells me that I need an "Online Pass" to use multiplayer features, but a little research has told me that the PC version of the game never HAD an online pass; only the console versions of the game had it. I have previously been able to play the multiplayer without issue. According to another user on the forums (https://forums.ea.com/discussions/mass-effect-franchise-discussion-en/pc-mass-effect-3-now-requires-online-pass/9240092/replies/9240094), this is an account entitlement issue, and only a support representative can resolve it. I tried contacting support, but I was transferred to another representative and sat in a queue for over an hour while it only got longer (number kept going up, not down). People on Reddit have suggested directly messaging EA Help on X, but I have received no response there. Can someone here help me? Thanks.Solved124Views0likes4CommentsME 3 Multiplayer, cant play with my friends
So yesterday out of nostalgy i convinced my friend to buy a copy of Mass Effect 3. She activated it, downloadet it but EA app doesnt show her any add ons except Extended cut. It is a problem because when we try to play multiplayer together it shows we cant play together because I have multiplayer add ons (Reckoning, Earth...) that were free updates and she doesnt. Unfortunately i cant just simply deactivate them or something. Does anyone have an advice on what to do with it?Mass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
Hi I'm having issues with accessing multiplayer mode. I haven't had issues in the past. I've previously owned Gamepass/EA Play so suspect this has broken something at some point, as I no longer have access to multiplayer. I've tried deleting the licence file, and reinstalling, repairing but this hasn't worked. EA_Shepard hi as requested I've made a topic, thanks :)Solved104Views0likes3CommentsMass Effect 3 Could Not Activate

Hey I keep getting the missing online access error when launching MEA. I've tried every solution I can find online with no success. Clearing temp files and reinstalling the game, etc... Is there anything else I can try? (i have the game on steam like to my EA account)SolvedController Not Working - Mass Effect Legendary Edition Steam
System: PC Windows 10 Purchased on Steam Latest EA App Version 13.482.0.5995 I recently reinstalled Legendary Edition to replay the trilogy and no matter what I try I cannot get my controller to connect (I have PS5 and a generic xbox controller). I remember playing with controller just fine back in 2021 and the best I can find online is that this seems to be an ongoing issue with the EA App itself. I bought the game on steam, I have adjusted every possible controller setting on there. I have tried adding EADesktop as a non-steam game, and that does show the controller in the Legendary menu, but once I boot up ME1 it no longer shows any controller options. If anyone has any other work arounds to try that would be great!479Views0likes3Comments
