"Warning Sims 3 unable to identify hardware"
Hi Team, I tried to troubleshoot this myself using guidance from other discussions but still having issues. Can you help me? Missing Objects Warning after travelling from University
Hello! If anyone could help with this I'd be really appreciative! I recently got the University Life expansion. After my Sim had finished their semester they tried to return home and I was met with the Missing Objects Warning: Some objects could not be loaded and were replaced. The UI is completely blank, no sims, no money etc. The house my sim and her family were in is still there with the extension I built, however her family is not there or in the UI. I've also tried her dropping out of university instead of travelling home when the semester ends however the same thing happens. If I go to edit town and then back out of it, it takes me to the game setup page as if I have opened a new file to make a new save with new family etc. My family is in my library however how they started where the sim I had at university is a child I have tried the following steps found on another forum post: Empty out your sims' inventories as much as is reasonable. Having a few items is fine, but not much more. Save the game immediately before you want your sims to travel. Exit to the Main Menu and lower all the graphics settings to the minimum. Turn off the in-game shopping experience and the interactive loading screens as well, then quit to desktop. Delete the five cache files in your user folder (listed above) again. Take your computer completely offline. You can sign in and put Origin in offline mode before disconnecting your computer and launching the game. Disable the Origin in-game overlay as well. Load the game, and once the clock has run for a few sim-minutes, send your sims traveling right away. Once they arrive in their destination, use "save as" to rename the save, then quit. If you want, you can first exit to the Main Menu and raise the graphics settings again, but be sure to quit to desktop before reloading the save. However this has not worked, still getting the missing items warning. I have also tried creating a clean The Sims 3 folder in the Electronic Arts folder and copying my save into the new folder. Hasn't worked. Also tried resetSim * and resetSim mysimsname, hasn't worked. I have the following installed: Expansions: World Adventures Ambitions Late Night Generations Pets Seasons University Life Island Paradise Stuff Packs: High End Loft Town Life Outdoor Living Master Suite I did have the following NRaas Mods however have tried removing them after the first couple times of this bug. Even with mods removed it still happens: Story Progression & Story Progression Extra Woohooer More Toddler Interactions I have no custom content! sim 3 file nuked itself, is recovery possible?
hey everyone! so earlier i was playing my save on the sims 3 and every thing was normal. my sim had just finished her last semester at university and was heading back home. then the loading screen popped up, and when the game came to, my task bar was empty and my sim just vanished. my entire save file was wiped clean like as if i had started a new save. this is very frustrating and i am not familiar with sims 3 bugs but is this a common issue? i just want my sim to come back, i would really hate to have to restart her entire career all over again and have to rebuild all of her skills. i also literally just bought this game YESTERDAY, and i was so excited to play it. ive already tried moving my files around to see if i could find the original game file, but no luck. i even deleted my most recent save hoping that it would trigger the previous one to load. still, nothing. when i load up the game now, it just shows an empty household. if anyone knows a way to fix this, please share! i run the sims 3 on my macbook and really only have had minor issues with it up until now.
Saves keep getting corrupted
Like the title says, my saves keep getting corrupted and I get error code 16 within like 10 minutes of playing. I've tried clearing all my caches, repairing my game and removing all mods and cc but it keeps happening. I just came back to playing after a while but this never used to happen and I have no idea how to fix it
I have tried everything "a serious error has occurred"
i started a save at the beginning of this month and been playing it my sim was a singer in monte vista she just came home from France and she just got her dream big house i was in the middle of redoing it when the game started acting up a bit laggy and stuff so i saved and quit then i started up the game again tried going back into the save file that is when i was it with an error iv never seen before in all my simming years "a serious error has occurred" i did as the pop up told me i restarted the program and still nothing so i want to reedit and the ea forms as iv always have with bug issues after reading and following everything everyone told people to do not and i mean nothing has worked i have started new saves those work fine but my save is still broken iv removed my mod "mostly nrass and smoothing mods for the game to run better on a UpToDate pc" I've checked my anti virus and my one drive nothing on either of those is connected to my sims 3 iv uninstalled my game and reinstalled it i downloaded a save cleaner "Regul save cleaner" iv cleared it of everything and still nothing i even made a copy of the save to see if a new copy would work some how i deleted all my other saves from the game iv done everything i can think of please please tell me someone out there has had this issue and has found a way to fix it i am begging!!
Sims 3 save crashes at a particular time?
My savefile cannot process through week one, it always crashes around 7 pm sunday. I only have nraas (overwatch, master controller and error trap) and smooth patch mods installed. Removed them but the same thing still occurs. It also appears to happen in every save file i create. Also tried uninstalling the game, but it didn't help. Does anyone know how to fix this?Is my save corrupted? What do I do??
I was playing this save earlier in the morning and it was fine. Played it again in the evening and this happened. I have two active sims in this household. One has disappeared, the other one stuck asleep. Things are still happening in game (they got invited to a party etc) and I can interact with objects. I've tried resetting the game, resetting the sim, teleporting the sim to a location, and none has worked. I don't have mods or cc in my game and I'm running it in a pretty good gaming laptop.Game keeps crashing at certain time in all my saves
I only have nraas and a just installed ui overhaul installed for mods. Deleted all mods, still crashes. This happened before i downloaded the ui overhaul but after i installed nraas. Please help, as i'm scared to start a new save file and have it crash again. It always happens week 1 i believe, Idk its been a while. Tried uninstalling, still didn't do anything. I would literally do anything, going so far as to factory reset my computer just to get this game working again.
My one saved game got deleted
I have been playing the sims 3 for a long time and in all my years of playing, this has never happened, until today. I was playing a specific save game that I've been playing for a long time and when i logged on this morning it was gone. There are the save files in the save folder, but it won't show up in game. I'm very upset and want it back. I have an Alienware M16 gaming laptop. I can attach a file of my dxdiag and a picture of my save file as well.Sims 3 freezes and crashes at 2:54 AM
Hi! I have been having trouble with sims 3, obviously. When my sim goes to bed, it freezes and crashes around 2:54AM no matter if i close the game or not. It always happens. I have master controller, I've tried resetting the town. I also have traffic, overwatch and errortrap. Someone help? The crash log analyzer says it's cc but i only have 1 and i checked if it's corrupted and it's not. I also have tried using the cpu changer mod thing but that didn't work. I've also cleared the cache and still nothing.
