Dragon Age Veilguard PC crash
My DA Veilguard keeps crashing and is practically unplayable. I have tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to work. It took me three seperate tries to get through character creation before my monitor went black and my PC wouldn't turn off. Each time this happens I have to switch it off by the mains because nothing else works. All drivers are up to date Windows is fully updated Antivirus software is operating well Updated BiOS Verified integrity of game files Set game to run as administrator Reconfigured preferred setting in NVIDIA control panel Deleted shaders in local files Soft reboot my PC Cleared cache and flushed DNS I am at a loss.Veilguard Crashing
So Everytime I try to get into the game I either crashs before the loading screen or after I try to make my rook. Is anyone else having that issue. Everything is up-to-date on my end so i don't know whats going wrong. At this point idgaf im taking my money back because its obviously the Game creators fault and not listenting to people.Veilguard Crashes after CC.
Thus far I have been able to boot the game up, wait through the unholy length of loading shaders, make a character, and then immediately crash after. I can load the game and then hit continue which causes it to crash again or I can hit new character which load the menu for CC but when you hit anything it immediately crashes. Sometimes it shows a directx out of memory crash but other times none. I have a 16ram with 15.3 available and based off the low quality of everything I've seen thus far I hope to God it's just a lousy game and not based on not having enough to render in the game. Anyone else have this issue and if so solutions?INDEX FILE - An error occured while trying to complete your request
At the splash screen when it says to press any button I immediately get this error and cannot progress beyond this point. I've reinstalled the game, and moved it from hard drive to hard drive. I've disabled all firewalls on my computer. Nothing seems to help right now. Has anyone found a solution for this yet? I've seen a ton of posts but nothing with a concrete fix.Veilguard Crashing (Black screen) Cutscene
I have encountered a problem in the prologue of the game, where during the sequence to stop the Solas/Ancient Bridge Ritual, I am triggering a cutscene. However, instead of playing the cutscene, my screen goes black after the autosave. After a moment of black screen, I can hear ambient sound/music, but the game is effectively frozen and I have to stop the game in Steam. I have updated my drivers, changed all my graphic settings to low, and have done the shader cache file workaround. This error has happened about seven times. The last time it happened, I got a DirectX error code message that I have not seen on the support boards yet (image attached). It is an "Invalid Call" error. Based on the wording of the message, does it sound like the problem is a bug in the game? I was chatting with customer support and the guy on the other end of the chat said that this is an issue that other people have had, and that people are working on it. He also told me to post about this here so that the EA team and the community could see my report as well. So that is what I am doing. Sounds like there might not be anything else I am able to do? If there are things I could try, do any of you have suggestions? I am not very tech savvy, so any and all help is appreciated!DirectX Error - "Dx12Renderer::waitOnSwapChain Gpu timeout detected"

On my PC, when I leave Veilguard on Pause to do something else on my computer, at least half the time when I return to Veilguard, I find the game did a CTD, with the following error message: DirectX function "Dx12Renderer::waitOnSwapChain Gpu timeout detected" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, Driver;: 56094. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. I have been playing for the past few weeks and have started running into near constant crashes. The frequency of these crashes is anywhere between every few minutes to few hours. It does not seem to correspond to any in game events though at one point I managed to get it to consistently happen when entering one area but it fixed itself there after about 10 crashes. The crashes are all screens turning off, the game sounds sometimes continuing (and I can tell I am interacting with the game due to controller vibrations), some times my GPU fans spin up to 100%. In all situations it is not recoverable and the system will eventually restart, sometimes instantly other times after a few minutes. Sometimes after restarting my graphics card is no longer detected causing multiple issues that need resolving step by step. I have tried all troubleshooting I can online, my best solution is to DDU , reinstall drivers to force the shaders to fully recompile and then I can usually get around 30 minutes into the game before it fails again (though I suspect it might be placebo) . It is not temperature, or overclock as I have tried underclocking and keeping a temp log to no success. I have tested both a Linux install as well as windows and the error appears on both, and I have tested on a steamdeck and I can force the error to occur by changing the screen refresh rate while the game is running . I am currently installing my older GPU to see if I can run the game with that instead but there is clearly something broken either with my new 9070 XT or, I hope, with the game/drivers. I have not had issues like this with other games but DAV is the game I have played the longest with this card. Any help would be appreciated and if you have the same issue I would welcome a comment just so I can know that I am not alone and it is more likely to be the drivers or game and not a busted card!Crashing During Cut Scenes
