EA App Requests Admin Permissions Every Time I Launch The App
Like the title says, every time I launch the EA app, it requests admin controls to make changes to my computer. This is not okay. The background telemetry EA runs while the app is open and while my game is in session, overloads my computer system, driving up the heat and forcing an full system crash. This is not okay, and this should not be happening. I've run a clean game with no mods or cc, and it does the same thing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a clean version of the app three times now, still crashes. This is not okay. I'm running my game/the EA app on a Macbook pro. When I manually quit my game, and quit the EA app, it relaunches itself without my persmission until it finally times out and gets flagged for not responding. This is after I've manually force quit the app. This is not okay.
EA app freezes and auto closes
Hey Guys, I am having an issue with my EA App I am not able to use it, hence my games are unplayable, or I cannot open it without this freaking app, which doesn't open. I have tried multiple avenues such as mcconfig, repair app, cache clear, run as administrator and app recovery, nothing works. Once in a blue moon, it launches and lets me play games, but the next day same issue. The app is in desktop, for the sake I have enabled auto startup, hoping for it to work. It opens and lands in login page. Soon as it open as about 3-4 seconds it lags/freezes and auto-closes/ crashes. HELP ME
The Sims 4 - stuck on cancelling repair!
Hi! Since the latest March update, my game has been buggy (I have a lot of cc and mods). I needed to do a repair as it was failing to launch and getting stuck on the loading page - I think it may have to do with the XML Injector and career mods that I just added. So I went to repair the game, I then forgot that I had done that, and whilst it was running I removed the XML Injector and careers 😶 I then decided to cancel the repair and it's been stuck cancelling it for 2 hours 🙃 Does anyone have any bright ideas how to either stop the cancel or reboot the EA app? Anything apart from deleting the game and reinstalling 😅
EA app closes itself/crashes when trying to open
Hi, Things I have tried: Running as administrator Uninstalling the EA app Running the repair tool from the uninstaller Running the 'recovery' tool when it's working (it just stops working again when i try to open it a second time after running it). Description of problem: It takes around 20-50 tries to get the EA app not to crash when I try to open it so I can play Sims 4, or update games, etc. What happens is it starts to open, nothing loads, then it closes. Sometimes it's faster, sometimes it looks like it's working and then suddenly closes. I can't predict when it will decide to work or under what conditions because nothing is consistent, but it's really annoying. Please help. :( I've attached a screenshot of how it looks before it crashes because that's all I really have. Every now and then it will say it crashed and ask me to send a crash report but almost every time it just crashes with nothing else. It also crashes when it lets me get into it occasionally and I try to run Sims 4.
Error EC:201, cannot open the app
After a quite long time of not using the app I tried to open it, but the app won't open. First, it tells me the app cannot connect to EA servers and tells me to open app in offline mode, however when I open offline mode the EC:201 error appears and it says that they cannot find my account, even though on safari I log in easily. I cannot do anything except trying to go on offline mode and close the app. Also, any advice I find on the internet is to open something windows related, but I have a mcbook and the app downloaded on IOS. Please somebody help me :( Also, I don't know if somebody from Poland will read it since its my chosen language so just in case I'll write the same in polish Po długim czasie nie używania aplikacji postanowiłam zagrać w coś ale aplikacja nie chce się otworzyć. Na początku jest napisane ze aplikacja nie morze się połączyć z serwerami EA i sugerują mi granie w trybie online, ale gdy klikam w ta opcje wyskakuje error EC:201 i mówią mi ze nie mogą znaleść mojego konta, mimo ze na przeglądarce z łatwością mogę się zalogować. Nie mogę nic zrobić prócz pójścia w rzekomy tryb offline albo zamknąć aplikacje. No i jeszcze każda rada powiązana z tematem jest o grzebaniu w Windowsie, a ja mam Macbooka a aplikacje pobrana na IOS. Proszę pomóżcie mi :((
inst-3-1920, can't install EA Ap
EA app won't install as of recently, gives error inst-3-1920 at the end of the installation. Tried the following: - Running installer as Admin - Removed files in %TEMP% - Updated DirectX and MS Visual C++ - Removed all old EA and Origin files in ProgramData, Program Files, and App Data. - Restarting PC after every steps above - Ran sfc - Check multiple videos and forums, no solution. Some claimed it was temp issue, but that was 2 YEARS AGO. Pls help.
