Ea App constant crashing
Hello all, I have been experiencing a persistent crash with the EA Desktop app. I’ve done extensive troubleshooting on my own. Issue: The EA Desktop app crashes immediately on launch. It never fully opens. Windows reports heap corruption (exception code 0xc0000374). The crash is consistent across reinstalls and survives reboots. Crash signatures from Reliability Monitor / Event Viewer: Faulting application name: EADesktop.exe Faulting module: ntdll.dll Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x00000000001176b5 I also saw earlier installer/service related failures including: INST-18-4103 – Incorrect hash value INST-14-1603 – Unknown fatal error INST-3-1920 – Failed to start background service INST-14-1460 – Local operation timeout INST-21-577 – Signature validation error INST-14-1612 – Installation source missing EC:109 – App files corrupted Troubleshooting steps already completed: Full uninstall of EA Desktop Manual deletion of all EA folders (Program Files + AppData + cache) Clean reinstall of the EA installer Manual reinstall of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (2015–2022 x86/x64) Cleared Windows installer cache and temp folders SFC /scannow and DISM system repair Disabled all startup apps and non-Microsoft services (clean boot) Disabled Razer Game Manager service (it was crashing near the same time) Clean GPU driver wipe using DDU in Safe Mode Fresh AMD driver install (driver-only + factory reset) Tested launch in a minimal environment Closed all background services on startup besides Windows services and EA Closed all startup apps Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic (no errors reported) The crash still happens after all of the above. At this point the system is running clean drivers, no overlays, no background injectors, and a clean EA install. The app still crashes instantly with the same heap corruption signature. Thank you for your time and help, JoshuaBF1 wont launch, along with Battlefront 2
For around a couple months now I've had this ongoing problem with Battlefield 1 not launching. I've tried practically everything but still it starts, brings me to the loading screen with a little green bar at the bottom, and then disappears and brings me back to the EA app without an error popup or anything. I've uninstalled both the EA app and BF1, cleared cache, verified the files, and a lot of other things but nothing seems to work. I've also had this problem with Battlefront 2. The first time I installed it and tried to launch it a couple months back, it crashed the same way and I worked all night to get it running but it never worked. I ended up having to refund it and was a huge bummer since I wanted to play it so badly. The crazy thing is that sims 4 still works and launches like normal. I'm honestly doubting if I can fix it at this point but if anyone has any new solutions I'd love to try them.Games not launching. Account untrustworthy
I am unable to launch my EA games at the moment, due to the error “This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it’s not running, or restart your PC: DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools).” I don't have anything to do with DiscSoftLTD and I have removed all of the drivers that could be blocking the EA AntiCheat. I asked ChatGPT and it said that EA AntiCheat has potentially flagged my PC/Account and it thinks I am cheating. How can I get a trust reset from the AntiCheat team?Error Code 10500
I have just installed mods for the Sims4 (I used Vortex) and now whenever i try to launch my game it comes up with 'Login Failed' (Attached SS bellow). I have tried reseting my firewall, disabled all my mods, and i have looked through the EA help and cant find anything! A girl just wants to play her sims. Someone please help me!19Views0likes0CommentsBackground Services Crashed
I have attempted multiple times to relaunch the app, update it and uninstall/reinstall it to access the Sims 4. It comes up with this message and even when i click to 'run update', it says that it is unavailable. I have googled online and forums suggest I restart/delete the EAbackground services tab in the Services section of my computer. Any assistance will be much appreciated!EA app closes/crashes after launch
When I launch the EA app on my Windows 11 desktop it opens and then typically only gets as far as a blank black page with the animated white loading circle in the middle (screenshot attached) before it closes after a few seconds. Sometimes it lasts for closer to 10-20 seconds and loads the home page and sometimes I can interact with it (go to library, etc.) for a bit before it closes. Sometimes after closing I get a popup saying the app crashed unexpectedly with a checkbox to send a crash report and options to restart app or exit. And rarely it will remain open and function as normal until I close the app or shut down my computer. This problem has been happening for at least a month. I have tried these troubleshooting steps multiple times over the past month: Uninstall and reinstall EA app Manually deleting Electronic Arts AppData folder Running CCleaner to remove EA app Running from a clean boot Added EADesktop.exe, EALauncher.exe, and EABackgroundService.exe to the Windows Virus scanner exclusion list and added them to the Firewall allow list987Views1like3CommentsI’m begging you guys to help me.
I have packs and I really don’t want to lose them. I clicked on my EA shortcut and this keeps popping up no matter how much I repair the app. I read to uninstall and reinstall the app but the EA app never was in “installed apps” I thought that was normal bc I’m not tech savvy. I could still play it with my shortcut and I’ve been doing that for 2 years. I need help fixing this please.EA app + Sims 4 game keeps crashing
So at first I was able to play the game, I didn't do anything much really. I didn't use build mode, I didn't download or uploaded stuff to the gallery. I was simply just managing my sim. After 30 minutes the game crashes out of nowhere and ever since either the EA app refuses to open OR if the EA app does open, it refuses to launch the Sims 4. I tried multiple things, like repairing the game, checking my drivers which are up to date. Try playing in a clean user folder, uninstalling and reinstalling both the EA app and the Sims 4 games. Just as additional info: I don't use or have mods in the game files. Only thing that I did differently today compared to the last few days is the fact I pre-ordered the new game pack137Views1like3Comments
