Mass Effect Legendary Edition on ps4 controller issue
I have just started the prelude of Mass Effect 1 on the PS4 and my PS4 controller has locked up on multiple occasions. I either end up running into a wall and stopping, or the controller completely locks up and I have to turn the PS4 power off to reset the whole system to have the controller work again. Is there any fix for this issue or should I contact PSN and try and get my money back?
Mass Effect 2 begins to launch but then just shuts down
Good evening, I have tried to open my ME2 but cannot get the game to continue. once i "press any key to continue" it just shuts done and gave me the following message in the EA App, "an error on our end caused the lauch to fail. try again a little later". i have clear cache, repaired, uninstalled and re installed, try to open it in steam. nothing works please advise.
Steam/steam deck game won't launch
Started yesterday and I'm guessing some sort of update happened in the background or server connectivity to EA's launcher. I've done just about everything I can do on the steam/steam deck side and I can only guess it's an EA thing. I've rebooted a gazillion times; verified all proton files, game files, tried all different proton versions and nothing has worked. (I haven't tried uninstalling/reinstalling for fear of losing my progress since this relies on EA cloud sync) I get no error messages, game attempts to launch and just dumps be back to desktop (in desktop mode) or the main game page in game mode. Anyone else experience this, or have some more helpful tips/tricks I can try?
Red lines everywhere in mass effect legendary(me1,me2,me3)
I have weird red lines over everything(this only happened on mass effect, I played alan wake 2, cyberpunk 2077, dead space and digimon cybersleuth with no issues). I'm on a 5080, windows 10 64bits 22h2 The issue persisted on driver 572.83 and 576.52. https://imgur.com/a/SuWTZl0
Can't launch Mass Effect 3 (Steam version)
Hey, I can't really get any help from EA help, so this is kind of just a question for someone who knows what they're doing. I cannot launch Mass Effect 3 (purchased from Steam) at all. The main reason why I want to continue playing Mass Effect 3 (instead of LE) is for the multiplayer. I owned it already on Origin/EA app, but I went ahead and bought a Steam copy for achievements and collection sake, but when I try to launch from steam, the EA app just flickers and closes, followed by a "Failed to launch game" error, with a description saying that "An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later." I have tried many things to try and resolve this, like uninstalling EA app, Steam, and Mass Effect 3 with revo uninstaller and doing clean installs, trying to run everything in administrator, and deleting the 71183.dlf file in the License folder in programdata. One thing that I have discovered is that if I install my old Origin-purchased copy of Mass Effect 3, then I am able to launch that from the EA app just fine. For whatever reason, it seems to be the Steam copy that has this issue. I suppose I could try to refund the Steam copy and just keep using the EA app, but I'd rather have the Steam-related stuff available like the guides and community tab and achievements and such. Could my issue be something to do with EA app getting confused about how I have two Mass Effect 3s? If so, how do I fix it?ME Leg crashed at launch with reset password suggestion.
Every time I try and run Mass Effect Legendary it starts, gets to the 'preparing game' screen and then the following error message pops up: 'There's been an error Try resetting your password and restarting your game. You can now close this window' I've tried everything. Help!
