Game crashing after 8.9.0 update
After some time(sometimes 10 min and sometimes 2 min) when I join the battle, the game freezes and turns off, without any error. I don't know if it has any significance but most often I have a crash when I die. I Tried clearing cache of BF/ea desktop, checking the files, clearing shader files from gpu driver, also updating/reversing gpu driver. Nothing works. Any solutions?Game Crash Issue with AMD Adrenaline 25.5.1 Drivers on Battlefield 2042
Dear EA Support, I would like to report a critical compatibility issue between Battlefield 2042 and the latest AMD Adrenaline drivers (version 25.5.1). and it seems many players have the same problem. After updating to this driver version, the game consistently crashes during mid-game death scenes, making it unplayable. The only current workaround is to roll back to an older driver version, which is not ideal for users who require the latest updates for other applications or titles. I kindly request that the development team investigate this matter and release an update or patch to ensure Battlefield 2042 runs properly with the latest AMD drivers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, DragoGreeceGame crashing..
Just reinstalled the game after months, didn't used to have any issues before, but now it crashed pretty quickly.. Tryed to play 4 matches, on 3 of them it crashed right at the beginning. Like in less than 5 minutes. On random occasions.. Only 1 i could play until the end. I'm using Windows 11, RX 6750 XT Ryzen 5600 GPU updatedCrash on AMD 25.5.1 and 25.6.x and Adrenaline not responding
I don't think i am the only one who experiences this. Battlefield2042 crash when using AMD driver version 25.5.1 and up. This crash will happen after you die in game, so your character isn't the only one who die, but BF app instance too. I've tried some things like reinstalling anti cheat and disabling overlays but does not work. The only thing that works is downgrading AMD driver to 25.3.1. I also checked Event Viewer and it said "The start type of the Background Intelligent Transfer Service service was changed from auto start to demand start." then "File System Filter 'EAAntiCheat' (Version 10.0, 2025-06-08T10:05:32.000000000Z) unloaded successfully." This isn't an error message, just info. Other than this i also experiencing AMD Adrenaline not responding after quitting BF2042 while performance overlay is ON. I have to "kill" the process in the task manager than restart it to make it works again but this is on AMD 25.3.1. The reason i use AMD built-in monitoring is because MSI afterburner is not working on BF2042. So there are 2 issues, BF2042 crashing on AMD 25.5.1 and UP. And BF2042 makes AMD Adrenaline not responding in the background. Hope you guys fix the problem. its getting annoying tbh.AMD 25.6.1 still crashes BF2042 — the driver was updated, but nothing changed
I haven’t been able to play BF2042 at all with AMD driver version 25.5.1. Yesterday, I updated to the new 25.6.1 hoping it would fix the issue… but it didn’t. Less than 3 minutes into a match, the game crashes to desktop with no error message. Unfortunately, there still seems to be no solution so far — the only workaround is rolling back to driver version 25.4.1. My GPU is a 6700 XT, and my CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800X3DSolvedI can't log in to any matches.
Hello everyone, yesterday I was faced with the inability to enter any match. The lobby loads, I select the mode, countdown, black screen and I'm back in the lobby (writes something like "error. the player is removed from the game. The game is over. all the players have switched off"). It started yesterday, before that everything was fine and working properly. Perhaps this is important - there are 4 squares endlessly spinning in the lower left corner (it seems like this is a loading sign). There's nothing wrong with the Internet and drivers. I tried to reinstall the game and restore the installed files, but it didn't help. I hope you can help me.
