All of my saves were delated
I opened sims today and I saw that all of my saves from the game all of my families are gone. Literally every single one is gone I don't know if it only happened to me yesterday everything was fine. Maybe it happened because I got all of my mods to the save file but when i got it back to my mods file still don't have my saves. I know that I prolly won't have them back but maybe someone could tell me is it because of the mods that I transfered or is it something else so I don't make the same mistake in the future.
Items visible in CAS don't work
Hi I have been playing the Sims 4 since 2014 and have a lot of packs. I haven't opened my game in like 3 months, and now I was ready to play again. I made a family using the items in CAS, matching the packs I have installed, but when trying to save the household or place it, the game tells me, that I have used items, that isn't installed. I have narrowed it down to, that it is Growing Together, Horse Ranch, For Rent and High School Years, that doesn't work. I have tried everything google suggest, clearing cache, deleting the packages, clearing "thumbfiles", repairing the game, the "vanilla-method", starting a new save. I play with some CC and have previously used the invisible crib mod, but have deleted the mods and almost all of the CC. Removing the CC from the folder or playing without allowing mods, doesn't work either. I can place the family, but the game crashes, if I try to load the household or use the family. My sister has the same packs and same PC as me, she has deleted all mods, but it doesn't work for her either. When doing the vanilla-method EA-app told me something needed to be repaired... I did that, but it didn't work either. I am out of ideas... How do I fix it?
Self-Assure trait doesn't stick
Gave my sim the self-assured trait when she aged into a young adult, but it doesn't show that she has it in CAS or the simology panel. She had a self-discovery which made the trait she gained from that her third, when I tried to go into CAS and give her self-assured back, it disappeared again.Sims not in Household after creating it
Please help me with this bug issue why does my sims dissappear from the household? I created a mother and a son but then after I moved them in a house it just left the mother. I am experiencing a bug where the game gets permanently stuck on the loading screen every time I try to play a household after creating it in CAS. Platform: MacBook Air M4 (2025), macOS (latest) Game version: Latest (downloaded via EA App) Mods/CC: None Expansion packs: Seasons and city living Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch The Sims 4 via the EA App 2. Start a new game or load an existing save 3. Create a new household in CAS 4. Click the checkmark to finish and place the household in a world 5. The loading screen appears and never progresses — the game is permanently stuck
Duplicated Build and CAS items/base game showing as CC and Gallery
I have multiple hairstyles, beards and eyebrows that are having issues; these items are duplicated files of base game items but are showing as CC in CAS and Build Mode. In CAS I have found that it is mainly but not limited to the hair items, whereas in build mode it seems to be sporadic throughout pack add ons/expansions, etc. GALLERY- The filter is working for the 'Basegame' selection only. Upon selecting 'Show owned items' there are either multiple inclusions of pack items I don't own, or blank screen results with a message saying 'no results found, check your filters'
