Still glitching since 5/12/26 update
Anyone else still having issues playing live mode and CAS? I don’t even use mods. I’m frustrated. Here is a list of things that have happened in my game recently since the update yesterday: Male sim glitches when playing as a parent. The child either clings to him weirdly or his action panel has multiple actions pop up and won’t stop adding to the queue. Sim newborn and toddler’s needs are being weird. For example, because the male sim glitches, I get the mom to do the task with the child instead. My child’s needs for fun and energy are “dangerously” low and I tried putting her to sleep and she won’t go to sleep. So I can’t get her energy bar to go back up. Also my nanny and butler were helping take care of the kids but then it started messing them up too. “Slenderman” child glitch is happening to my kid now when trying to do an action… ifykyk. CAS keeps popping into tutorial mode even though I don’t click it so I can’t add more sims or animals to my household in CAS. I like adding pond effects to my ponds and fountains like the swans, ducks, fireflies and dragonflies but for some reason, they aren’t showing now during live mode. They’re still there in the pond on build mode but not live mode. There are some other things but that’s pretty much the gist right now. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues or what do I do? I’ve repaired and cleaned out my cache multiple times. When my sim glitches like that I don’t even save the game and just exit it to try and restart where it was last saved but it still glitches pretty quickly after restarting the game. I do want to point out that I do use sims from the gallery that have max skills but says the creator didn’t use cc’s or mod’s, cause it’s easier when starting out a household imo. Hi, after the new update date I have experienced more game crashes than ever. When trying to access the manage worlds or CAS my game immediately crashes and that is very disappointing because I was looking forward to trying out the new features in CAS. My game also crashes sometimes after spending hours loading in which is another issue I face when playing the sims then as soon as the home menu to the sims loads in it crashes. There is also a problem with the new expansion packs that I just purchased Life and Death and Adventure Awaits both of the worlds were showing up twice in the manage worlds before the new update. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thanks.
How does layered clothes work?
Before I report it as a bug, I want to be sure that I am trying layered clothing correctly. I am unable to wear layered clothing, I am trying to replicate the layered clothing images in Sims 4, but it doesn't add on top each other, black tanktop under short yellow t-shirt with bow. Is there some special trick to add layered clothing? Thank you.Create a sim
Is anyone else having an issue going into create a sim? Every time I try, it is just the SIM on a blank background. I can't clock on anything because it doesn't show. Even the other sims in the household don't appear. I have to manually shut down my game just to get out of the screen. Any help would be appreciated. Didn't notice a problem till today but I haven't gone into cas for a couple days.[DU] University Tees Not Showing Up in CAS
Not all of the university's pack clothes are displayed in CAS, and they're not reward clothes that are locked behind a club or career achievement. I noticed this after the March 17th update. I had dressed my sims in some of the university pack clothes, and when I went in CAS to update recently, I noticed the clothes weren't showing up in CAS, no matter the filter that's selected. It's almost as if they're not wearing a shirt. See attached images showing my sims wearing university shirts, but those shirts are not being displayed in CAS. I'm on PC. I played the sims4 and try to create the new sim and move into the house but got the error pop-up as attached image. and the household that I previously play was disappeared and can't recover. pls kindly help. I try to restart the games many times. and I also got the lag time. After I create the new sim and move on the next stage to create house. the time of loading to next stage is really long. sometime it stuck to that page.
