EA_AljoGotta eventually address the community. Let’s speak about the rewards. Open up dialogue about this and let’s talk. You want our feedback, you’ll get it. Rewards are going to destroy HUT. Stop avoiding this and let’s address this massive issue. Please let me know who I need to contact at EA to pass along this feedback as it’s clear you don’t want anything to do with it. To all, Please continue to share your issues with EA. The moderator of this forum (unnamed) encourages it. See below for his post just a few days ago talking about what he welcomes on this forum. “We want the EA NHL forums to be a welcome and friendly place for all. This doesn't mean we don't accept negative feedback. As long as it's constructive and not breaking the rules, that's fine. We want to hear what you're struggling with as much as we want to know what you're liking.” Please, do yourself a favor and go through any thread on here that discusses 1. Pack prices 2. Reward path 3. Broken economy etc etc etc. This particular moderator is only responding to what he wants to respond to. IE, he is not accepting negative feedback around certain subjects. They clearly do not want to hear what we are struggling with, otherwise they’d respond to one of the 50+ threads that talks about it! Shoot, at least give us some lip service of “I have passed this along to the team”. I’d stop posting about it instantly! At least at that point we understand that someone at EA has acknowledged us. I have doubts they’ll fix it regardless. I am beyond disappointed with how low EA is going with the rollout of this game and particularly HUT. Please take this moderators advice and share all of your negative feedback in a constructive way which doesn’t break the rules. They want to hear what we are struggling with, they just don’t address it. I am unsure of what else to even say at this point. They have an entire fanbase of their largest game mode asking questions & giving feedback which they are intentionally choosing to avoid. Go into this mod’s account & you will see he is very active in responding to stuff, just not anything involving certain topics. Sad. To the unnamed mod, I don’t blame you. I blame the company you work for. It’s a shame they put you in this position with no other air cover & or real support… but you are the community manager, and you’re INTENTIONALLY AVOIDING SUBJECTS. I’m sure those above you are telling you to stay silent, just frustrating. I hope someday someone at EA wakes up. But, my guesses are a $500 pack comes out before that happens. Please, EA. Do something. Address your loyal community. It’s so embarassing for you to stay silent through this.
Top shelf goals challenge for Panarin collectibles is completely rigged.
They completely rigged empty net goals as well. There is absolutely no way to score top shelf on the empty net in this challenge. I have tried for 10 minutes with the opposing teams goalie pulled and not been able to get a single one yet. Slap shots break the stick every time. Wrist shots I have held to the side and aimed at the top of the net slide right along the ice into the bottom of the net. I am aimed high and every time it is the exact same thing.HUT is dead before it even started with the complete lack of rewards.
Why in the world did you think we would want next to nothing for rewards? What made you think the players want far far far far far less rewards than last year. Ok cool you added an XP path. Why would you do that and then completely remove all other rewards from the game? HUT rush from years previous that almost no one would play actually had better rewards than this garbage abysmal xp path system lmfao and rush was the worst form of rewards in years past. Without Rivals and Squad Battles WEEKLY rewards added back into the game what is even the point in playing? Don't go and think adding monthly rewards will make anyone happy. Giving everyone the same card at the end of the xp path and the same upgradeable cards in the XP path is just forcing everyone to use the same cards. The fun part of this game was collecting cards and building multiple rosters. That is completely gone now. Oh and to top it all off all of the packs in the store are completely absurd in their pricing. Why do you get absolutely nothing for $120? Spending $200 on packs last year purchased multiple top end packs. How do you think raising the prices nearly 5x from last year was going to result in any sales? I have no problem spending money on packs to get players but there is no point at all in spending any money on packs this year. Hundreds of dollars gets you nothing in return and not even enough fodder to build sets. It is so bad you may as well just remove all the sets from the game in its current state. Nobody will ever get enough cards to complete any of them. Oh and not to mention getting rid of all the trade in sets that got you packs. Trading in gold jerseys only to get another gold jersey doesn't make any sense at all. Sincerely. One enraged player who has played nearly every single year of HUT. Somehow you have made it feel pointless to play the game as there is nearly nothing to play for.CPU blatantly cheating
I get game development is hard. And making the game harder can be difficult for some developers. But, it is really **bleep** annoying when the CPU is blatantly cheating. Whether it’s their ability to out-skate your 90 speed forwards, gluing themselves to your back and draining all of your energy, blatant interference and crosschecking penalties that aren’t called by the refs, their ability to demolish your players with the weakest hit humanly possible, their ability to block passes even when they are not looking in the same direction, their ability to read your moves before they happen, or any other of the hundreds of problems you encounter while playing the CPU. I get it will never happen, but the CPU needs a complete tear down and to be built up in a different way.This game mode feels so empty and boring this year.
There are just no cards being given out. The market is completely dead and there are hardly any of the top players ever pulled that go up for sale. When they do the price increase on top players vs last year is completely out of whack. Building players like Mcdavid and Lemieux is nearly impossible because there is simply no way to get cards. Even spending money gets you almost nothing. $120 CAD for 20 cards and a single 83+. This doesn't make any sense at all in any way. The addition of BND cards is senseless and just angers everyone who plays this game. Get rid of this please. Sincerely every single person who plays this game mode. Building more than one team and filling out sets and having lots of cards is what made this game mode fun. Every year I would have a Canucks theme team that I loved using. Now there are just no extra resources to get to do this with. Not doable by grinding and not doable by spending thousands and thousands of dollars. Where are any rewards this year? Seriously. Where are they? Do you think this XP path gives any incentive to play? It doesn't. At all. Bonus Packs???? Nothing but bronze players and the odd silver and if you are extremely lucky one gold. All the packs along the way give you nothing. The coins are worthless because the inflation has drove the price of cards up 2-5x the price of last year. Give us weekly SB and Rivals rewards back. The XP path as it is gives out almost nothing as rewards. Just keep the XP path as a bonus to the normal weekly rewards we are used to that give us some incentive to actually play the game.Panarin Top Shelf Challenges
These challenges are absolutely ridiculous. I’m a top-skilled player with many years on the game. I have worked on this challenge for 2 straight days and 10-15 hours total. It needs to be fixed to real pro difficulty. Ridiculous, I considered deleting my HUT team because it made the entire mode not fun at all.

Where isEA_Aljo ? Has anything that’s been “passed on to the team” been addressed? Sets not being fixed? Events expiring early? Wrong event cards in packs? Not getting rewards/packs? Nothing on EANHLs socials addressing these either. Unless you count the people in the comments complaining about these issues.Why did the xp path completely replace weekly rewards?
I’m not here to attack anybody, gonna keep it as respectful as possible. The rewards from the (8 week!) xp path are worse than a single week of rush last year. I get that ovrs and quantity of cards in general have all been scaled down, but how are we supposed to acquire any special cards? The packs being given out are laughable, sorry. Single 74-77ovrs that are untradeable along with UT players packs with straight bronzes are literally useless for progression. On top of all that, there is nothing worth chasing in packs to begin with because holos and captain xfactors aren’t in packs, but the odds on the store packs are so terrible it wouldn’t matter anyways. It sucks that the best gameplay in years is being held back by this bad approach to progression. EA_AljoI would appreciate to hear from the developer’s perspectives on why the xp rewards were scaled back so much and replaced rivals/sb rewards all together
