I cannot obtain my daily rewards for completing daily missions
I cannot obtain my daily rewards after playing/completing daily missions - screen shows empty from the start! This issue persists for many, many weeks. Please fix it, it is not fair to empty the daily rewards for that daily missions before a player starts to play. I play on a tablet Lenovo P12, Android. Screenshot as proof.Stop calling it "Lunar New Year" in the game! It's inaccurate and disrespectful.
Hi everyone, as a long-time player since the Z2 era (the original Plants vs. Zombies 2 launch), I was genuinely excited to see the new update featuring the festive theme. However, I was also quite disappointed and, frankly, offended by the terminology used in the game interface referring to our most important holiday as simply "Lunar New Year." I understand the intention might be to be inclusive, but this usage is scientifically incorrect and culturally insensitive. I want to explain why this matters so much to me and millions of other players. 1. The "New Year" we celebrate is NOT a "Lunar" Calendar. The term "Lunar" specifically refers to a calendar based solely on the cycles of the moon (like the Islamic Hijri calendar). This calendar drifts approximately 11 days each year relative to the solar cycle and is not used for marking the seasons. The traditional calendar of China (and several other East Asian cultures) is a Lunisolar Calendar (阴阳合历). While it uses the moon phases to define months, it incorporates leap months (闰月) and the 24 Solar Terms (二十四节气) to align with the solar year (the Earth's orbit around the sun). This intricate system was developed thousands of years ago specifically to guide agriculture—hence the proper English name: the Chinese Agricultural Calendar, or simply the Chinese Calendar. It determines when to plant and harvest, something a purely lunar calendar cannot do. 2. It's Disrespectful to Erase Our Identity. Calling it "Lunar New Year" strips away the rich historical and astronomical context created by Chinese civilization. It's like calling Christmas a "Winter Festival" to avoid mentioning its cultural roots. By using the inaccurate term, you are effectively dismissing the intellectual heritage of the Chinese people. 3. "Lunar" is NOT the umbrella term you think it is. Ironically, by trying to be inclusive, you are actually disrespecting the true Lunar calendar users. The Islamic world uses a true lunar calendar. Their holidays, like Ramadan and Eid, shift through the seasons. Our New Year, which always falls in late January or February (the start of spring), has nothing to do with their system. It is an entirely different method of timekeeping. 4. If you want to be inclusive, call it SPRING FESTIVAL. If your goal is to respect everyone (Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese, and the global Chinese diaspora), please use the term "Spring Festival." For us, it marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring (Lìchūn) – it's a festival of Spring. This name is widely accepted and used by various Asian communities without erasing the Chinese origin of the calendar system. It is neutral enough to encompass the variations (like Korean Seollal or Vietnamese Tết) while still being rooted in the shared lunisolar tradition. To the Devs: I love this game. I have spent years and money on it because it's part of my life. Seeing something so fundamental to my culture being mislabeled hurts. It shows a lack of research and care. Please don't let your attempt at "political correctness" become an exercise in historical inaccuracy. Please update the text. Respect the science, respect the history, and respect your players. I hopped on pvz2 but my WiFi was bad at the time so it logged me out of my account,after I logged back in my gems,mints,coins and gauntlets were doubled so as my arena points.it reached the 1k point milestone and I didn't receive the rose plant/seeds. Please if the EA team is able to resolve my issue it will be gladly appreciated thanks.
Plants vs Zombies 2 monthly $2.99 ADS Removal!
Do you remember the good old days when you pay for a game and then you own it! Well, I've been playing Plants versus Zombies when it was owned by Popcap and everything was awesome! Then all of a sudden they sold out to Electronic Arts, and everything was still descent. Pants versus zombies, 2 was made and it was a fun game to play. Eventhough I had to adjust to the new gameplay, eventually I got used to it. Then games suddenly start changing to free--to-play games. These games are fun yet very bothersome because they take your time in watching commercials! So, I didn't mind watching commercials in order to get diamonds, gold coins and batteries, gauntlets, yet now EA is getting really freaking ridiculous. They are trying to force me $2.99 per month to get rid of unwanted ADS that they just added to their game! The thing that bothers me the most is that I bought plants and diamonds to support this game. And now they just kick me in the balls! I'm going to try to download the original Plants versus Zombies and avoid these unwanted ADS. I'm no longer gonna play this game. Because the corporation that owns this game is very greedy! Whoever decided to place ads and charge you $2.99 per month to get rid of them should be fired! I've played this game just about every day! On Pyramid of Doom, I am at level 800! That's how much I play this game, but I guess I am not going to be playing It at all! I'm going to look for some alternative games to play. It's sad after all of these years that I supported this game that EA is forcing me to delete Plants versus Zombies 2! I hope all the gamers who play this game unite and boycott this stupid decision that Electronic Arts had made! 🤬😡🤬😡🤬
