EA App on Mac – Cannot Sign In (Error Codes EC:10005, EC:201
EA App on Mac: I am unable to sign in to the EA App, which prevents me from launching any games. Dates: August 25, 2025 to August 28, 2025. Bug summary: On home Wi-Fi (Spectrum) I receive error code EC:10005 indicating a server or network issue; on my mobile hotspot I receive error code EC:201 instructing me to restart the app and try again. Frequency: Occasionally (20%–50%). Steps to reproduce: open the EA App, attempt to log in with a valid account, observe the error messages. Expected result: the EA App signs in without errors so I can access and launch my games. Actual result: sign-in fails; on Wi-Fi I get EC:10005 and on mobile hotspot I get EC:201.
Unable to launch game due to "not owning the game"
I've been working with the support to try and resolve this, but they directed me to the forums. I can't launch my Red Alert 3 from my library. I bought the game back when it came out on CD-Rom and added it on Origin as was required. After the update to the EA-app (and I think the launch of the C&C remastered collection). The game no longer is able to download as I get an error messages stating: Which is silly as I'm looking at the CD-Rom lying in front of me. The game doesn't have its own gamehub and the only option under the three dots is to download it, which gives this error. Having down the usual gamut of uninstalling, repairing, cache clearing, restarting etc. The service team couldn't help me further and directed me to post over here. Is there anyone who can help me out?Error code 201
Hey everyone, I’m getting error code: EC 201 comes up on our iMac computer. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the EA app multiple times, the network connection works fine and the IMac has all up to date software. I’ve set the login on the EA website to ‘remember me’ and my wife runs the EA app under the same account from her MacBook no issues so I’m at wits end with it. 😴 Anyone got any ideas, I have included an image of the error code for context. I am having trouble connectin xbox app to the ea extension it says were having trouble connecting to the ea app error code:-2147221163 to contact ea app support I have tired all of these- Restart and Update: Restart your PC. Make sure Windows is up to date with the latest updates installed. Check Internet and Security Software: Ensure your internet connection is stable. Temporarily disable any third-party antivirus or firewall to rule out interference. If this fixes it, add the EA app as an exception in your security software. Redownload and Reinstall EA App: Uninstall the EA app completely. Download the latest installer from the official EA website and reinstall it. Check Account Linking and Authentication: Visit the EA Account connection page: Log out from all EA-related sites, then back in using the 'Sign in with Xbox' option. If prompted, create or relink your EA ID. You may need to manually unlink and relink your Xbox and EA accounts by visiting the connections section in your EA account settings Clear DNS Cache: Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run: ipconfig /flushdns Check Xbox Services Are Running: Open Services app (Win+R, type services.msc). I have purchased Battlefield 1, Battlefield 5, and Battlefield 4 in my Steam game library. However, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 encounter an issue where cloud data cannot be saved during startup. After using local data to play the games, I am frequently troubled by being unable to enter the games. After I got a new computer, when running Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 on the new device, after full loading, it repeatedly bounces back to the EA app, without any error code popping up or any feedback. Helplessly, I purchased Battlefield 4, and still encountered the situation where cloud data cannot be uploaded. Running the game with local data allows me to enter the game frequently, but my Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 cannot load and enter the game, which has greatly dampened my enthusiasm for purchasing Battlefield 6. Hi, I've been struggling with the "INST-14-1638" error every time I try to install or launch the EA App. This issue has been ongoing for over a year now. I searched the internet and forums, but couldn’t find any helpful solutions. It’s really frustrating, especially since my previous bug reports may have been flagged as spam and seemingly ignored. i purchased sims medieval yesterday and tried launching it after downloading it and received an error message stating that something went wrong on EA's end and to try again later. i waited 4 hours and still received the error message. i repaired the game, relaunched the ea app, and restarted my laptop and still got the same error message. today i have tried launching the game again and still have the same issue. anyone have this problem with this game? i hope i didnt waste money on a game that doesnt work. all of my other games are running just fine.Kode Kesalahan: EC:10005 Di aplikasi EA
