I can't get connected to Hazard zone match(never played )
I am playing from Asia (GMT+5.30) on PC via Steam / EA App and cannot get into any Hazard Zone matches. Whenever I try to queue, I end up completely alone in an empty lobby. Occasionally, 1 or 2 players will connect, wait a few minutes, and then disconnect out of frustration. I have tried queuing during multiple different sessions throughout the week, but the same thing always happens. I am trying to grind out the achievements for this mode, but the matchmaking system completely prevents it. Lately, I have also noticed that I am unable to connect to standard Conquest matches from the Asia region as well. If anyone has any ideas or workarounds to fix this regional matchmaking block—other than using a third-party VPN—please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Game settings reset and introduction cinematic plays everytime I launch the game
Hi Everybody, After the latest update, Battlefield 2042 resets completely every time I close and reopen it. I am facing two main issues: Every launch forces me to watch the introduction and play the prologue match against AI. None of my main settings save. When joining customized Portal servers, I have to re-configure everything (like mouse binding / graphic settings and so on) from scratch every single time. It seems the game is unable to save or write any configuration files to my Documents folder
Xbox to EA Play linking fails
Hi, I have the following issue, that I know is not unique... Login to Xbox on a PC, select Game Pass: shows issues with any EA Play game, account linking error. Login to EA account: shows no Xbox link in place, click on link account, receive an error that an Xbox account is already linked. Go to the Xbox account: remove the link with EA, go back to the EA account and try the account linking on again, and receive the same error that a link is already in place. Tried to contact EA support, there is only a chat bot with no means of getting human support. I contacted Xbox support, and because it's EA account linking, then EA need to reset it. Gamertag on Xbox - andw99 EA ID - andw99 Is there anyone from EA support that remove the account link to my Xbox account? Thanks, andw99
Matchmaking not working.
Yes that's about 20 days. We all understood matchmaking is not working properly or can't play what he want to play. What about EA support? What did they do and is there any info for us ? When will the problem solved? Is there any official patch soon? Or all the players must pay for the BF6?
PC Friends Social Tab
As of roughly a week the PC players section for friends under social tab only shows the player names as though they haven't opened the game but are logged into EA App. Sometimes these players will show what matches they are in but quickly changes back to out of game/logged into app. When PC friends do show in match, there is no selection for "join party", just "join game" though accepting invites works because sending invites still works. Many of my console friends also say they cannot see pc friends as in game when they know we are. Not even "the exodus". My PC friends who have been in game with me recently confirmed over game chat they are having the same issue. EA Friends section in social tab behaves normally. Friends show and what they are playing. Though on only a few occasions the "join party" option wasn't there. In the state of the game currently, with numbers being fragile and many of us relying on our friends to join game/party to get into matches instead of sitting in matchmaking for a game to start that never does, this is high priority. Not to stack our teams as joining game puts us on the same team as our friends but after the match is over we are now in sync with fresh matchmaking with all the players on the original joined match. PC through EA App, no Steam Ryzen 5 7600x Rtx2070, 32gb ddr5 ram, 2 tb free disk space, occurs with and without vpn, TUN or TAP, stable network, Arizona, USA with friends experiencing issue as far as China and Australia to London. No troubleshooting of any kind has made a difference. The issue is clearly on the backend. Included screenshot with friends names crossed out for privacy. At the time of this screenshot all my pc player friends confirmed via discord, ea app, text they were actively in matches.Dammit can we get 3 days in a row without mass errors?
April has been a complete disaster for EA, Dice, BF6, 2042… you name it. As one to refuse BF6 until 2042 gets attention it deserves (customers get attention) and overall EA and Dice server errors, I cannot justify spending another dime on a developer who missed so hard so consistently is not gonna happen. Currently, 2042 is an absolute disaster with servers, parties, friends, lag, and just all around stability. It’s fixable. They just won’t lift a finger. Everyone is saying the same thing. Insane lag and players becoming ghosts while their markers are overhead just 5m away (or any distance). We can’t join party on friends unless invited. That is, if friends even show as in game. Currently most friends show as online but not in exodus or whatever. Click on them to join party if it even does show a match under their name and join party is never an option. Just join game sometimes and invite to party. So broken. Never seen it this bad. Im so done. How long can we go on complaining about problems with EA? Enough is enough. Gonna finish a few masteries and swear off all things EA forever. Don’t care if the issues get resolved and they get competent leadership.
BF2042 & BF4 license missing
Good evening, I was setting up my OBS for the morning and went in to load BF2042. However, when I attempted to load in I was greeted with a message stating that I did not have the license for the product. This also occurred on my BF4, when i looked at my EA app both games were missing from my Library. However they are on my Desktop and all of their corresponding files are where they are supposed to be. The only thing that shows up in my Library is BF6 and the last know update for any of my BF games outside of the recent download for BF6 was for BF2042 on September 9th. Can anyone please point me in the direction of where, how, or who can fix/address this situation for me
