BF2042 autoclose
Im starting to think that EA its a joke. Not only that BF2042 AUTOCLOSES but FC25 AUTOCLOSES TOO. WITHOUT AN ERROR. I've tried everything. Deleting cache files, repairing EA, uninstalling and installing back EA, verifying the integrity files of BF on steam. I dont know what to do anymore and i see that EA doesn't give a frick about those god **bleep** bugs or whatever this is... I even enabled secure boot, still nothing. My PC can't be the problem, i have an RTX 4070 Super with an I7-14700F and 16 GB ram. I dont have problems with any other games. R6, Valorant, PUBG, Barotrauma, ETS and ATS 2, GTA5 etc, those games work PERFECTLY FINE. The only games with problems are BF2042 and FC25, i play FIFA21 but i dont see to have a problem with it (yet). I think ill just uninstall BF2042 and try BF5 hoping it wont crash. Please tell me what to do, i feel like i've tried everything but it all was in vain...Game keeps sending to Desktop after recent update today
Hi There, Every single time in try to start the a game in matchmaking, the game crashes and sends me back to desktop. No error provided. I see i'm receiving crashdump files in the game directory. I tried repairing the game, tried updating BIOS & drivers to see if this is the problem. Did not solve it. Please look into thisCant connect to EA Server after 5-6min (Can't play any BF)
Hello, I hope you can help me, I’m desperate. Context: I couldn’t play Battlefield 2042 because the error code 1:4688822970:-4685921B always appeared. I never found any working solution and ended up uninstalling it. But now that Battlefield 6 released, I get the same exact issue: “Unable to connect to EA servers”. I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked, so I refunded BF6 and went back to BF2042 to see if fixing that one would solve BF6 as well. Both BF6 and BF2042 disconnect and won’t let me finish a match. The message is always “Unable to connect to EA servers.” BF6 Error Code: 1:85009S BF2042 Error Code: 1:4688822970:-4685921B Specs: Laptop THUNDEROBOT ZERO RTX 4060 8GB Intel i5 13500HX 32GB RAM 500GB SSD M.2 + 2 TB SSD M.2 Steps I tried (all failed): Restart Battlefield 2042 Restart the PC Reinstall Battlefield 2042 Update GPU drivers Restart the modem Change to a different network (I tried 4 different networks) Change DNS to Google (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) Change DNS to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1) Enable Memory Integrity (HVCI) Enable TPM 2.0 Enable Secure Boot in UEFI Check Windows Defender to make sure Battlefield or EA App were not blocked Tried Cloudflare Warp Disabled VPN Global Protect Ran sfc /scannow Ran DISM Removed and reinstalled the Intel WiFi driver Checked for 802.11r or Fast Transition settings (my adapter does not support these options) Modified MTU values Logged out and back into the EA App Forced EA App to regenerate a new login session Tried signing in using a direct EA password instead of Xbox/Steam login Tried launching the game from EA App and from Steam Deleted Battlefield configuration folders to let the game regenerate new files Checked Windows Credential Manager for EA entries Confirmed Steam–EA account linking Reviewed Windows Firewall rules Reviewed Windows Security Controlled Folder Access (Ransomware protection), tested with it enabled and disabled Deleted leftover cache, session, and token files Verified Nvidia Control Panel wasn’t applying forced settings Reinstalled the EA App Cleared EA App cache Confirmed that other online games work perfectly (Halo Infinite, Gears of War, Titanfall 2, Battlefront II, etc.) Confirmed Battlefield 4 historically worked fine on the same account and device Important behavior: BF2042, BF6, and BFV always disconnect after around 5–6 minutes, even when I stay idle in the main menu. The error appears even without joining a match. Battlefront 2 and Titanfall 2 do not disconnect. The disconnect is extremely consistent and looks like a session or token handshake problem with my EA account specifically.best way to get into contact about getting an account that was hacked
so about a couple of weeks ago i was trying to get into battlefield 2042 and when i would play for a bit it would crash and i thought it was something in the files and i verified it through steam because i bought the game on steam. and when i opened the ea launcher i noticed that i was logged out and i tried to log back on but it said to send a code to a random email and i tried to reset my password in another way but nothing. then after i tried for days to try to get it back to at least unlink the account off my steam because i cannot play any other games since my steam is linked with the account.[FIXED] Battlefield 6 Save & Settings Issue — Windows Security Blocking Solved!
If your Battlefield 6 keeps resetting settings or won’t save progress, it could be Windows Security silently blocking the game’s files. What happened: Windows Security didn’t show any pop-ups until I launched the game. Loading the campaign triggered the alert, and that’s when I realized it was blocking access to save and config files — the game literally couldn’t touch its own files. How I fixed it: 1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. 2. Look for any blocked Battlefield 6 files and click Allow on device. 3. To stop it from happening again, go to Manage settings → Add or remove exclusions. 4. Add your Battlefield 6 install folder as an exclusion (for example: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6). After doing this, all game settings and save files worked perfectly. No more resets — it was just Windows Security silently blocking access. **Note:** Search your PC and make sure the following files exist and are not being blocked: * `PROFSAVE` * `PROSAVE_profile` * `steam_autocloud.vdf` These files are usually located in: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings If any of these files are missing, Battlefield 6 may not be able to save or load your progress correctly. These files are required for Battlefield 6 to properly save your settings and progress. Also verify that **Windows Virus & Threat Protection** (especially **Real-time protection**) isn’t blocking or quarantining them — this can silently prevent the game from writing or updating your save data. ***Steps to Add Full Control for Battlefield 6 Settings Folder*** (This has also helped some users to resolve issue with save file) Navigate to the folder: Open File Explorer and go to: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6 (or wherever your Battlefield 6 folder is located) Open Properties: Right-click the Battlefield 6 folder → select Properties. Open Security Settings: Click the Security tab at the top. Edit Permissions: Click Edit… to change permissions. Select Your User: In the list under “Group or user names,” select your Windows user account. If your user isn’t listed, click Add…, type your username, and click Check Names → OK. Grant Full Control: Under “Permissions for [YourUser],” check Full control → click Apply → OK. Propagate Permissions: When prompted, choose Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files → click OK. Close Properties: Click OK to close all dialogs.Critical Performance Issues: Shader Stuttering & EA App RAM Use
Good evening, I was setting up my OBS for the morning and went in to load BF2042. However, when I attempted to load in I was greeted with a message stating that I did not have the license for the product. This also occurred on my BF4, when i looked at my EA app both games were missing from my Library. However they are on my Desktop and all of their corresponding files are where they are supposed to be. The only thing that shows up in my Library is BF6 and the last know update for any of my BF games outside of the recent download for BF6 was for BF2042 on September 9th. Can anyone please point me in the direction of where, how, or who can fix/address this situation for meCan not play any EA Play launched games!!!!
I load into any game that launches with EA Play (Battlefield 1, 2042, 6 beta). I get disconnected less than 5 minutes into every match. The error always says disconnected from EA Servers. BF2042 Error Code: 1:4688822970:-4685921B This is extremely frustrating because i want to be able to play BF6!!! I am actively trying to give you money EA!! HELP!!
