New bugs in 2026
After renewing my EA Play subscription, I returned to Battlefield 2042, but since then, I haven't been able to enter a single 2042 session. Every time I try, my network card crashes. I've tried updating my network card driver, motherboard BIOS, clearing the cache, updating and fixing anti-cheat measures, updating my NVIDIA graphics card driver, and using my phone's hotspot, but without exception, I get the same error message. I'm starting to believe that DICE is trying to drive players to Battlefield 6, but this will only drive players away. My IP address is in the US, so I'm sure it's not a VPN issue.
Network or Server errors
The servers are broken. Or half broken. They seem to be operating normally but in reality they're cutting out for split seconds every minute or so but still allow matches to continue though with major latency/ping. Not on my end, EA. You want surveys and people to give input on forum survey etc? Start with the dozens of errors people report every day that don't get addressed until I open a case and get someone who doesn't speak anything but Czech to chat with.
Cannot install Battlefield 2042 with Xbox Game Pass Premium
i have xbox game prenium but i cannot install bf2042 trhough the ea app. every time a try to install it, the EA app tells me that i need to buy the game, even i have been trying several days and would really like to play . could someone help me resolve this issue
BF2042 Gold Edition - GONE from Account
Hello, I'm asking for help: Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition on PC, which I purchased before its release on November 11, 2021, has disappeared from my account. I haven't played for about six months. After launching the EA App, it asked me for an update, couldn't verify the files, and asked me to redownload the game... when I uninstalled it, it disappeared from my account. 0.o I see that user "Warmastercj" had a similar problem, but he didn't receive any help other than the message "Moved post from a different Battlefield forum"... What about the problem? Where is the game? 0.o
Game Shuts off mid play
The game loads just fine and play for about 5 minutes then just completely shuts off and the EA app with it, it will reload and relaunch just fine but then just crash again a few minutes later. Ive reinstalled both the EA app and the game itself, nothing fixing it. The issue just started randomly one day, my computer is more than capable of running the game as ive put many hours on it already woith no issue. anyone else have this problem?>Do your job.
fix the matchmaking *snip*. fix the cheat *snip* with javelin is juvenile against make the game playable for full xo without without "official" breakthrough or conquest. Portal exists ands theres bots either way so whats the point? its an insult to have a conquest mode dedicated to less vehicles and more ground soldiers over a similar mode for breakthrough. Breakthrough chaos features maybe 4-5 maps played over and over that only had heavy vehicles. Ruined the whole thing. Look at the numbers. prior to discontinuing Chaos, most went back to regular breakthrough because there were more maps, some that included NO vehicles. The fact Dice doesnt understand how vehicles ruins some gameplay, such as rams against poorly balanced teams, tells me all I need to know about how much the people who make, produce and develop the game... actually play the game. also no game invokes an Nvidiacontainer error that crashes the game for Device Hung. Literally no other game, meaning no other platform. Its only EA games. Fishy how Chat GPT, Google AI and many typical sources blame NVidia FrameView,, Nvidia Drivers, and Windows despite every single error associated with those names sources way back to EA if you use the data provided by event viewer. I have been trying for two days to get 2042 to launch and am out of ideas. Keep getting “we’ve noticed your computer is offline. To activate game on computer using ea account you must be connected to internet” error message. Yes internet is working and my ea subscription is active, everything is updated, already deleted and re downloaded both apps
BF2042 autoclose
Im starting to think that EA its a joke. Not only that BF2042 AUTOCLOSES but FC25 AUTOCLOSES TOO. WITHOUT AN ERROR. I've tried everything. Deleting cache files, repairing EA, uninstalling and installing back EA, verifying the integrity files of BF on steam. I dont know what to do anymore and i see that EA doesn't give a frick about those god **bleep** bugs or whatever this is... I even enabled secure boot, still nothing. My PC can't be the problem, i have an RTX 4070 Super with an I7-14700F and 16 GB ram. I dont have problems with any other games. R6, Valorant, PUBG, Barotrauma, ETS and ATS 2, GTA5 etc, those games work PERFECTLY FINE. The only games with problems are BF2042 and FC25, i play FIFA21 but i dont see to have a problem with it (yet). I think ill just uninstall BF2042 and try BF5 hoping it wont crash. Please tell me what to do, i feel like i've tried everything but it all was in vain...
Game keeps sending to Desktop after recent update today
Hi There, Every single time in try to start the a game in matchmaking, the game crashes and sends me back to desktop. No error provided. I see i'm receiving crashdump files in the game directory. I tried repairing the game, tried updating BIOS & drivers to see if this is the problem. Did not solve it. Please look into this
