[PC] Mass Effect Unauthorized DLC Error
Commander, you've received a new message at your private terminal! Ready to jump back in the game and save the galaxy? Are you running into an error that matches the following: "Unable to authorize the listed DLC"? Below are the steps to help resolve this error when launching both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Checking your account First things first. Make sure you are logged into the correct account. With older titles, we may often end up with multiple EA accounts without realizing it. Use the following steps to verify you are in the correct account. Head on over to EA.com and log in with your EA credentials. Under the About Me section, make sure you see a Mass Effect ID. If you play on Epic/Steam/Switch, check the Connections tab at the bottom of the page to verify the accounts are linked. Click on Order History, change the drop-down to match All, and scroll through the content, as there should be logs here with each DLC name. Note: If the EA account previously had an EA Play subscription, once the subscription ends, you will lose access to any additional content the subscription provides. You can read more about what content is included in the Learn about EA Play article. Once you verify you are in the correct account, perform the following steps below as these should help reinstall the DLC content and resolve these errors. Troubleshooting Steps Locate the following folder on their PC Default Path: C:\Program Files\EA Games. This path may vary depending on where the player installs the game. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER. Hello, a couple days ago I reinstalling Mass Effect Andromeda on my steam account MisterDiego310, to play it again. Since then each time I try to get in the Online Features are disabled with the message: Missing Online Access. I can't Import or Export my character personalization nor can I access the Multiplayer side, and it is very frustrating because 2 years ago I bought and played the game normally, but now this issue is making me reconsider buying EA games if they are going to have this kind of online problems. I followed the troubleshooting guide on the EA Support page, but none of them have worked. I deleted and reinstalled the game, logged off and on and even uninstalled the EA App to check if those things could fix it up but nothing... I also reported and sent a Support description of my problem, I don't know if they attend those things, but I would like to know if there is something else I can do to.456Views2likes11CommentsMass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
No online pass on my game, can't play MP, the dlcs don't seem to be active. Been in chat with support for over 4 hours, speaking to like a dozen diffrent agents. They all seem clueless. Case #242969621 First I started with the steam digital deluxe edition, but clearly when you buy it, the EA server actually gives you the standard edition. Okay, so i've seen four or five threads with the same issue, just contact support and they'll fix it, right? Well actually getting in touch with support seems nigh impossible, the ai chatbot that masquerdes as support won't let you. But eventually I got though. The first support agent lied and said it was steam's fault and I needed to talk to them to 'prove that i'd bought the dlc' (it's a one item bundle, you HAVE to buy the dlc) Anyway, i got in touch with another support agent who passed me off to another one, who got the Online Pass required to actually play MP. GREAT! But not the dlc. The agent then says "reinstall the game and it'll all be fixed k thx bye" and closed the chat on me. I reinstall, and wouldn't you know it, not fixed. I get back in chat with a new agent, then my tab closes itself and I can't reopen it no matter what I do. While i'm 'afk' the new support agent 'fixes' my problem by doing something, which completely removes my permissions and ownership of the game entirely. So I've got from 'has the game but no dlc or online' to 'has the game with online but no dlc' to 'can't even boot the game because EA app is saying that I don't own it' After two more agents and like another hour of this, I eventually get one who just completely removes the steam version from my account at all, presumably writing it off as irrecoverably screwed up by the previous guy, and he gives me the EA version of the game. Great! But no dlc or online. So i'm right back where I started. I eventually get another new agent, who makes me reinstall the game again (for the fourth time total so far) claiming 'you definitely have all of the permissions, you just need to reinstall and it will work' I reinstall. No dice, doesn't work. They say "We've logged this issue and will get back to you, when we find a solution, we'll send you a message in-game." in-game? You're going to send me a message through Mass Effect 3? Somehow I seriously doubt that. Also, why would I even boot the game up unless I know the issue is fixed? It's not like i'm going to be playing it. Also, the solution is simple. You just give me the online pass and the dlcs that come with the version of the game that I originally purchased. One of you literally already did that before another one of you screwed it up and took it back away from me again. Jesus, how is this so complicated? It's been five hours. Just give me what I paid for!156Views1like4CommentsMass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
Hey, can't seem to get multiplayer to work, I'm using the EA app on PC. I see all these threads about the online pass and I've tried to follow the advice in them but I'm having no luck. Not sure if it's something on my end or not. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Around 2 years ago I played and finished MELE. Last year I got hacked on pretty much every account on pretty much every site I had connected my gmail/yahoo/steam accounts. It was bad, but I fixed up as much as I could. NOW I want to play again and with mods, but I CAN'T because some bichass hacker with a hotmail account has replaced my MAIN LINKED steam account. I think it was from last year. I need help with this pleaseMass Effect Andromeda "You are not allowed access to online features"
Yes, another one of these. After spending many hours over multiple days discussing this issue with both EA and Steam support I was finally told to just report my issue here. In short, you have probably heard this one before. When I boot up Mass Effect Andromeda it greets me with the error message "You are not allowed to access the online features of this game". After following the steps outlined in this ( [PC] Mass Effect Online Access Error in Multiplayer Mode | EA Forums - 9200656 ) forum post to no avail I contacted the EA support for the first time. Over the course of a few hours with multiple support agents attempting to help the end result was, that their internal system does not recognize me owning the game in the first place. They instructed me to reach out to Steam support since I had bought the game through them and ask for "the specifics of the purchase" (The automatic translation making it quite difficult to actually follow what exactly they were trying to tell me by the way). So I did just that, with the Steam Support getting back to me after two days stating that on their end all is fine, I own the game and it is registered in their system. Great, back to EA support I was sent. I explained my issue for what felt like the 100th time and eventually the support agent figured out that yes, indeed, their system does not recognize any ownership on my account of a product key regarding Mass Effect Andromeda. After telling me that they would help me if they could, they said they would report it to their internal team and sent me here to report my issue once more, hence this post. I have seen multiple posts about this reaching back many years. Some are marked as resolved, others aren't. Lets see my luck1.2KViews1like21CommentsAchievments not unlocked
Hallo After years I decided to complete the last achievements of ME on Steam. After my great effort, the achievement Insanity 3 did not unlock. Although I finished the game on the highest difficulty. The previous two unlocked normally. The same with ME1 majority of the game. Also everything is completed. Please, what about this? How can I request a fix? I spent dozens of hours on it and then some bug prevents me from doing it
