Can’t Buy EA Play Pro Subscription – Payment Always Fails
I’ve been trying to subscribe to EA Play Pro for days now and EA just won’t let me. First, I couldn’t even link my credit card for 3 days straight. When I finally got that sorted and tried to purchase the subscription, I got this error: "That didn’t work, let’s try again. If the problem persists you may want to use a different payment method or try again later." Well, the problem definitely persists. I’ve tried multiple times, waited, retried — same thing every time. I contacted EA support twice already, and absolutely nothing has been done to fix this. I just want to pay for the subscription and play, but EA’s system won’t even let me give them money. Has anyone else run into this? Is there any actual fix, or am I stuck waiting forever while support does nothing?

Пытаюсь совершить покупку в своём аккаунте EA с помощью PayPal, но появляется сообщение: «Эта карта не может быть использована для этой транзакции».Я нахожусь в Армении, и мой PayPal-аккаунт привязан к карте Visa Gold от IDBank. Эта карта успешно работает в других сервисах, в том числе и с PayPal, но покупка в EA не проходит.Я уже проверил: Аккаунт PayPal подтверждён и активен. На карте достаточно средств и она поддерживает международные транзакции. Адрес в EA и PayPal совпадают. Пробовал и оплату напрямую картой, и через PayPal — результат один и тот же. Подскажите, пожалуйста, в чём может быть причина, и как можно решить эту проблему? Заранее спасибо за помощь! С уважением
Cannot Renew EA Play Pro via PayPal (Payment Fails - Region Issue)
Hello EA Team, I have been trying to renew my EA Play Pro subscription for several weeks now using PayPal. Despite trying different cards linked to my PayPal account, all attempts have failed. I contacted PayPal support and confirmed that there are no issues with my account or cards. They also confirmed that the same card successfully processed an EA Play payment in December 2024. In my country (Azerbaijan), PayPal is the only available payment method for EA Play. Direct card payments and other payment methods are not available. This situation prevents me from renewing my subscription. I would also like to mention that I have been an EA account holder since 2010 and have been a long-time player and loyal customer of EA games, especially series like Battlefield and FIFA (now FC series). I have also noticed that many users from different countries are facing similar issues, which suggests this could be a broader problem. I kindly request the EA team to investigate this and provide a solution or alternative for affected users. Thank you very much for your attention and support!
