EA NextStep, a step back
I am starting to think that they know what they are doing, seeing that the forum was the only resource that popped up when I was researching a problem I was pleasantly surprised to see a "contact us" button at the bottom of the support page. Now I was fully expecting an AI assistant, at least before speaking with support staff or having a ticket created, but what EA has created is well beyond any other assistant I have ever had the displeasure of navigating. Every single prompt from EA NextStep comes with little to no regard of the information you entered into the window previously. Beyond stating your name multiple times be prepared to state your problem, game, and system multiple times in repeat. And for those of you as gullible as me, hoping, praying to at least have an actual ticket created and maybe get a chance to have another person review your problem, let me save you the effort. At the end of each session with EA NextStep it will prompt you to the EA "Self Help" guide where the AI chose an article for you to read and hopefully fix the problem yourself, the only problem, it doesn't actually listen to your problem. I was trying to solve the random EA app failure on PC and beyond having to give it all of the important information multiple times, I was offered a generic "game help" article, a "login help" article, and a "connectivity troubleshooting" article, none of which actually addressed the problem or the fact that I had attempted many of the steps those articles were suggesting before trying to find more help. If anyone has a solution to the EA app bug, I would be very appreciative, but I will not hold my breath on EA finding the solution, as the multitude of threads on and off of this site complaining about the exact issue I was having, and the EA proposed solution, if all else fails, factory reset, and the EA app and EA games are just not worth that effort.Being redirected wrong in EA playtest portal
When I am logged in on the playtesting portal and enter my profile, press "Add family member" It leads me to a playtesting survey I assume is no longer active, referring to November and in a location I did not include in my preferences. ! EA ! And we All Want Battlefront 3 because Star Wars may seem like a joke to you guys now, but I’ll tell you this. Star Wars Fans Outnumber your large Battlefield player base by more than any of your projects. And look at this game, Star Wars galaxy of hero’s, and at how long this game has been active! And the Battlefront 2’s numbers and look at how it just keeps peaking and peaking even on May 4th! Listen I know what happened during those early years of Battlefront 2 and that was clearly your fault because of those Pay-To-Win games and I done the research, all of Battlefront’s games are the best video games ever made! These Star Wars games have lasted for ages and all it takes is the same amount of effort for your Battlefield games and then Ka-Boom money by the millions. A loyal player base, a large sum of money for you and Disney! What more do you need? Battlefront 2 has already organized a large massive scale 2026 community resurgence! This is so important to us as people that we all have finally set aside our differences in this wrecked world filled with evil, evil people, countries that hate us, leaders who are Dumps+Trucks+Stupid, and filled with so much war! So I ask you again with all those who are with me or as one person Will you please Create Battlefront 3? As you would do this your Battlefield series will grow, But Battlefront 2’s numbers will be promising! And research shows that the fans will spend money on something good and not some bad and terrible! Just don’t make it have problems like micro-transactions or other things… make it good and lovable, please. Then you will all be RICH! Hello EA and FC community, first of all thank you for your efforts. I am a football fan who has been enjoying playing EA FC for a long time. Career Mode is especially the most important game mode for me. Among the rumors and leaks about the upcoming FC 27, the possibility of a Chairman Mode (Owner Mode) is what excites me the most. I have a few questions about this: Is it planned to add a “Chairman Mode” to FC 27 Career Mode, or is this purely a community rumor? If it is added, what kind of authority will we have as players in this mode—will we have full control over club finances, sponsorships, stadium management, youth development, and hiring managers? Is there any officially confirmed information or timeline from EA regarding the development of this mode? I believe this feature would bring a completely new level of strategy and depth to the game, and I would be very happy if any official statement or hint could be shared on this topic. Workarounds for FPS counters? Please allow external FPS counters in EA games!
Hi everyone, I’ve noticed that in EA Sports FC 26 (and also in other current EA titles) it’s currently not possible to use any external FPS counters such as MSI Afterburner/RTSS, NVIDIA GeForce Experience, or the Windows Game Bar. It seems that EA AntiCheat is blocking all of them. This is a real problem for PC players, especially in games that don’t have a built-in FPS counter. Being able to monitor FPS is one of the most basic and essential features on PC – whether for performance troubleshooting, benchmarking, or simply making sure the game is running smoothly. I’d like to ask EA to please consider: Allowing safe and widely used FPS counters like RTSS and NVIDIA’s overlay to work with EA AntiCheat. Or at least providing a reliable, built-in FPS display in every EA title by default. This would make a big difference for the PC community. I’d also love to hear if anyone has found any other working alternatives. Thanks!
Can’t access EA Playtesting site
Hi, I keep getting an error when I try to log in the EA Playtesting website. It says: "An error occurred while processing your request. Reference #30.a97a7b5c.1775630305.350937a" I’ve tried clearing my cache and using Incognito mode,using other browser and tried other wi-fi but it still won't load. Is the site down, or is my connection blocked? Thanks!
