Interactions imposible!
After the game was updated on the 1st of October and I started a new sim to do "The Reaper Reward Even" I noticed right away that I had no option to interact with most objects on my lot. I have almost no options in interacting with Sims, no matter how well friends we are. I have limited choices with the few objects I can interact with. I can not interact with the mailbox or the bookshelf or ANYTHING that builds up my skills. I have disconnected all mods - did not work. I have repaired the game - did not work. I have restarted everything - did not work. There is absolutely no way I can do the tasks for the event, or play the game at all with these issues.
Reaper Rewards: Newsletter doesn't arrive
logged on to complete my week one quests and was able to complete "Assistant to the Grim Reaper" no problem, but when I tried to complete "A Call Away", the newsletter wouldn't come in the mail; the mailman got stuck just waving at the sky instead of delivering the newsletter, so I tried to move the mailbox as well as reset the mailman both of which failed to solve the issue. So, after the mailman left, I decided to just pay for it to come early which did make the letter appear, but as soon as I read it, the UI for the even went away, save for the grim icon that shows the quests, however, I can't actually complete any of the quests. I tried to wait for week two to come out to see if the popups would fix it, but unfortunately, it did not. I did try disabling my mods, verifying the game files, and playing a completely different save, but nothing has been able to fix it. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
Off the grid lot challenge keeps lot from loading/ Error 109:f967dc7f
*edit: I've finally been able to fix this by deleting the off-the-grid trait off my lot. Hopefully this will get fixed soon* I've just finished the update and am now unable to load the household I've been playing with. I can open the initial home screen but the game won't load after clicking "resume". If I try and load through the saved games tab I can load the neighbourhood, but again, not the actual household/saved game. I'm also only able to end the application while on the loading screen through task manager, the x doesn't shut the window.
