Dedicated to highlighting players who have excelled in UEFA club competitions this season, Dreamchasers items will showcase their incredible performances and achievements with upgrades worthy of those moments! In addition to the standout performances from this season, UEFA Dreamchasers will celebrate the rich history of the four prestigious UEFA competitions: Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League, and Women's Champions League, through ICONs and HEROES available in the Ultimate Team pool of items for packs and via Squad Building Challenges. An important note is that these (UEFA Dreamchasers) items will not receive live upgrades which differs from RTTF items. Fantasy FC is here! Turn stats into stars with Fantasy FC, where a player’s metrics in real-world matches inform ratings boosts, earning upgrades for general output like goals and clean sheets. As a new aspect for this campaign, the upgrade path also considers sportsmanship with avoiding yellow/red cards leading to extra upgrades. The better they and their club play week-in and week-out, the better upgrades they’ll receive in Ultimate Team. The campaign also includes Fantasy Heroes, who will earn upgrades based on their historical club’s performances in their upcoming domestic league matches. Fantasy FC League As we continue to evolve the Ultimate Team experience, we are introducing a brand new Live UT Friendly: Fantasy FC League. To celebrate the spirit of intense competition (the heart of Ultimate Team), the Fantasy FC League will be a limited entry Friendly, with rewards given solely for wins. Rewards will be structured in a league style format, with meaningful rewards available for every two wins within the tournament. In the spirit of Fantasy FC, users will need to build a squad out of your OVR allowance. The total number of entries available will be 36 with the maximum reward achieved at 30 wins. 12 entries will be given on the launch of the Live UT Friendly on Sunday 23rd, whilst a further 12 entries will be given on February 27th and March 3rd. Three exclusive Player Rewards will be available via the Fantasy FC League: Fantasy FC Ismaël Bennacer for 10 wins, Road to the Final Martin Odegaard for 20 wins & Fantasy FC Hero Maicon for 30 wins. The Fantasy FC League is the only place these player items will be available. Fantasy FC Cup Be sure to also check out the return of the Fantasy FC Cup! Featuring the same Fantasy OVR 'allowance’ entry requirements, you’ll have to build a unique squad to compete! The Fantasy FC Cup will refresh twice throughout the campaign, with both refreshes bringing new entry requirements, a new House Rules game mode and a new Objectives group to complete. Launching on February 21st, the first Fantasy FC Cup will be using the Mystery Ball gameplay rules! FAQ How does the upgrade mechanic work? Team wins 2 games in next 4 league matches = Player will receive +1 OVR Upgrade and one new Role++. Team scores 10 goals in next 4 league matches= One face attribute will be boosted to 99. (GKs, Defenders & CDMs only) Player achieves 1 Clean Sheet in next 4 league matches (Excl. Heroes) = Player will receive a second PlayStyle+ and one regular PlayStyle. If the player already has 2 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive two base PlayStyles. (Attackers and Midfielders only excl. CDMs) Player achieves 1 Goal or Assist in next 4 league matches (Excl. Heroes) = Player will receive a second PlayStyle+ and one base PlayStyle. If the player already has 2 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive two base PlayStyles. Seasonal Upgrade: Player’s team wins primary domestic cup = Player will receive a third PlayStyle+ and one face attribute will be boosted to 99. If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive one base PlayStyle. Seasonal Upgrade: Player’s team wins domestic league = Player will receive a +1 OVR and a third PlayStyle++. If the player already has 3 PlayStyle+, they will instead receive one base PlayStyle. Which cups count as the primary domestic cups? England - FA Cup (Men and Women) Germany - DFB Pokal (Men and Women) France - Coupe de France (Men and Women) Spain - Copa del Rey (Men), Copa de la Reina (Women) Italy - Coppa Italia Which games count as part of the upgrades? Domestic League games only will count towards all non-seasonal upgrades. Cup games will only count towards the ‘Player wins the main domestic cup’ seasonal upgrade. What if my player already has 5 Weak Foot and 5 Skill Moves? The player will receive a +1 OVR upgrade only. When does player tracking begin from? Player tracking begins from the date the player is made available in Football Ultimate Team. For example, if a player is made available on February 26th and their team plays on the same day, that game will count as the first game. What counts as a Clean Sheet? The Clean Sheet upgrade is awarded to Goalkeepers, Defenders and CDMs. The player will receive this upgrade if the team concedes 0 goals and the player has played for at least 60 minutes. If the player is subbed off after 60 minutes whilst a clean sheet is intact, they will receive the upgrade even if the team concedes after the player has been subbed off. If the player is sent off after 60 minutes and the team then concedes, they will not receive the clean sheet. Does my player have to play to achieve the ‘No Yellow or Red Cards’ upgrade? No - If the player doesn’t play within those four games or receive any yellow or red cards, they will receive the upgrade. Does my player have to play to achieve the Team Wins or Team Goals upgrade? No - the player’s participation is not relevant in achieving this upgrade. What is the source of truth for goals and assists? Future Stars Dual Potential - Players with two possible versions, each representing a different playing-style path a player could take in their career. Alongside the squad of Future Star players be sure to check out Future Stars ICONs that celebrate the early years of football’s most legendary players. These special ICON versions will feature in packs and Squad Building Challenges. Team 2: FUTURE STARS ACADEMY - WONDERKID TO ICON It isn’t Future Stars without the beloved Future Stars Academy! This group of players are on the precipice of being recognised as Future Stars and their rise will come to life via Evolutions. The Future Stars Academy will begin with an exclusive one-time Player Pick grant, allowing you to pick 1 player from a possible 15 to enter into the Future Stars Academy! The journey is divided into three different Evolution stages, representing your player's growth from academy wonderkid to club legend! Once all stages are complete, your Future Stars Academy player will become a true Icon and receive the Icon chemistry upgrade to prove it. In addition to the Future Stars Academy Evolution journey, you will also have the chance to build up a scout report for your Academy player by earning Evolution consumables in the 'Future Stars Academy: Scout Report' objectives group. These consumables will allow you to uniquely customize Playstyles and SM/WF ratings for your academy player. Flex your scouting skills and show what makes your Future Star stand out from the crowd! Once all are completed, the group reward will be a 1 of 5 pick of a PlayStyle+ (as Evo consumables). All Evo consumable rewards can only be applied to your active Future Stars Academy Evo player, so be sure to complete all consumables before taking that final Evo step and becoming an Icon. TWO ACTIVE EVOLUTIONS Beginning with Future Stars, we have activated the ability for you to progress two Active Evolutions at the same time! Winter Wildcards will deliver player upgrades inspired by past, present and potential future Ultimate Team campaigns. Everything is on the table when it comes to Winter Wildcards, look out for changes to Positions, Skill moves/weak foot, 99 stat upgrades, playstyles or even role+ and ++ assignments! In addition to Winter Wildcards ICONs, HEROES have been introduced this year - injecting an element of nostalgia in FUT during the holidays. As always, Winter Wildcards will bring a range of content including daily login, upgrade, player and challenge SBCs. Season 4: Strength in Numbers Season 4 officially kicks off in the second week of Winter Wildcards on Thursday December 26 2024 at 8 AM UTC. In this 5-week season, we will bring it back to basics with a celebration of Numbers and their importance in the World’s game - featuring NumeroFUT players in the Season Ladder ahead of the official campaign launch in January. Based on community suggestions, Daily and Weekly SP Objectives will return in Season 4, providing consistent opportunities to progress in the mode of your choice whether it's Champs, Rivals, Rush or Squad Battles. Look forward to even more in Season 4, including a refresh of the Weekly Rush Objectives and the next stop on the World Tour. This time, we’re heading to England, home to some of football’s most iconic holiday fixtures, as we honor the passion and traditions that define the sport. Season 4 Mode Rewards This season, we’re excited to introduce changes to Champions, Rivals, and Squad Battles rewards. These updates will replace the Mode Mastery program for Season 4, allowing you to earn Campaign Guarantee Packs and Picks by competing at a high level or simply playing the game the way you prefer. Champions Qualifiers We’ve listened to your feedback regarding the difficulty of qualifying for Champions Finals. In Season 3, we adjusted the requirement from 3 wins in 5 games to 3 wins in 6 games. Starting in Season 4, we’re making another adjustment, reducing the requirement to 2 wins in 5 games. This means you’ll now need a 40% win rate in Champs Qualifiers to secure a spot in the Champs Finals. Champions Finals We’re also making changes to the rewards in Champions Finals based on community suggestions around wanting to earn players from the current campaign. During the first 3 weeks of Season 4, you’ll be able to earn players from the Active Campaign team through Packs, including Winter Wildcards, Winter Wildcard Heroes, and NumeroFUT players. In the final 2 weeks, you can earn Min. OVR Campaign Mix Packs & Picks featuring Winter Wildcards, Winter Wildcard Heroes, Winter Wildcard ICONs, and NumeroFUT players. To accommodate these changes, starting with the first Season 4 Champions Finals on December 27, the event will now begin on Friday at 7 PM UTC and run for 24 extra hours, ending on Tuesday at 8 AM UTC. Division Rivals & Squad Battles We are also excited to share that both Division Rivals & Squad Battles will also be revamped, allowing you to play towards Campaign Mix Packs & Picks throughout Season 4. We heard from fans during Mode Mastery about how challenging it was for players of all skill levels to earn Mastery player tokens and progress towards rewards. This season, we’re also introducing the Season 4 Weekly Play and Season 4 Weekly Play Completionist Objective groups releasing on Friday December 27. These will allow you to progress towards the same Campaign Packs available in Champs Finals every week by scoring goals in separate games within Rivals or Champs, as well as Squad Battles or Rush. If you complete this objective in 4 out of 5 weeks of the season, you’ll earn an 89+ x 5 Campaign Mix Pack containing Winter Wildcards, Winter Wildcards Icons, Winter Wildcards Heroes and NumeroFUT players.
