No Administrative EA Support
I’m posting here out of frustration after exhausting all available support options with EA. I recently had an issue where my Steam account was accidentally linked to the wrong EA account . This only happened because my primary EA account had been hacked at the time. That account has since been fully recovered, and now I’m simply trying to restore things back to how they were originally—by unlinking the incorrect account and relinking the correct one. Unfortunately, EA Live Chat support has told me there is absolutely nothing they can do due to a strict 6-month unlinking restriction. Even more frustrating, they stated they don’t have the authority to escalate or override this policy. So essentially, there is no administrative path to resolve what is clearly an accidental situation. What makes this worse is that there was no clear warning during the linking process indicating that this action would lock the account for six months. If that had been clearly communicated, I would have never proceeded. It’s hard to understand how a company of EA’s size can have no mechanism for administrative intervention in cases like this, especially when account security issues (like hacking) are involved. Policies like this don’t just create inconvenience; they damage trust and push customers away. Has anyone else run into this issue? Were you able to find any workaround or escalation path? If not, I really think EA needs to take a serious look at this policy and the lack of support flexibility behind it. At the very least, there should be: A clear warning before linking accounts about the 6-month restriction. An escalation path for verified cases involving compromised accounts. Administrative support capable of resolving edge cases like this. Right now, it feels like customers are left completely stuck with no real support, which is honestly unacceptable.49Views0likes2CommentsAdd SOLO Ranked Drop-Ins to Improve Match Quality and Player Retention
Pro Clubs currently lacks a structured experience for solo players. Drop-ins are unranked, inconsistent, and often frustrating due to a lack of positional discipline and teamwork. At the same time, Clubs require a full group to function effectively. This leaves a large portion of the player base without a meaningful way to play competitively. Proposal: Introduce a Solo Ranked Drop-Ins mode — a separate queue from standard drop-ins, designed for competitive, role-based play with individual progression. --- Key Features: 1. Solo Queue Only (No Parties) - Players enter alone (no invites or squads) - Ensures fairness and prevents coordinated teams from dominating random players - Creates a true test of individual ability within a team structure 2. Role-Based Matchmaking - Players queue for specific positions (ST, CAM, CM, etc.) - Matchmaking builds balanced teams based on roles and rating - Prevents positional chaos and improves overall match structure 3. Performance-Based Ranking System Ranking is influenced by both team result and individual performance. Examples: - ST: Goals, shot conversion, positioning - CAM: Chance creation, assists, pass success - Wingers: Cross success, assists, possession retention - Midfield: Passing, interceptions, control - Defence: Tackles, positioning, duels won - GK: Saves, distribution This ensures players are rewarded for playing their role correctly — not just match outcomes. 4. Divisions & Progression - Tiered system (e.g. Bronze → Elite) - Visible progression to encourage long-term engagement - Separates high-IQ team players from low-discipline playstyles --- Problem This Solves - Reduces frustration in drop-ins caused by selfish or unstructured play - Provides a competitive mode for players without a club - Gives players something meaningful to do while waiting for teammates - Prevents full squads from exploiting solo players - Encourages proper football fundamentals (positioning, passing, decision-making) --- Example Scenario A striker receives one clear chance and scores, while a midfielder repeatedly ignores passing options and wastes possession. In the current system, both players are treated equally. In a ranked system, performance metrics would correctly reward efficiency and decision-making. --- Expected Outcome - Higher match quality - Increased player retention - More consistent engagement in Pro Clubs - A clear progression path for solo players --- Conclusion A Solo Ranked Drop-Ins mode would fill the gap between casual drop-ins and full club play. It would provide structure, fairness, and progression — improving the overall Pro Clubs experience without impacting existing casual modes. This is not a replacement for current drop-ins, but a necessary addition for players seeking a competitive, solo-friendly environment.50Views0likes1Comment6 Month Wait to Relink Account
I have paid for a lot of DLC for the sims 4 on steam. recently I created a family account on steam so my daughter could play games too. I didn't know that EA was even more greedy than I initially thought and that they have blocked any kind of family sharing in the hopes that you buy everything more than once. I accidently linked my daughters steam profile to my ea account not realizing that all my DCL would be blocked. now after spending days with "support" who cant actually do anything and just keep saying "try to understand" over and over I am told to wait 6 month to access content that I HAVE PAID FOR.Solved80Views0likes7CommentsMore couch co-op games please!🙏
I recently played split fiction with my wife and It takes 2 and it was an absolute blast! EA reallly needs to invest in more couch co-op games like these, including perhaps first person shooters. I’ve been searching for more couch co-op and there’s so few, previously I didn’t really play these types of games as I had no one to really play with, and I’m thinking there must be quite a number of people who initially gamed alone but are now no longer alone and would love to connect with their partners through gaming. It’s very expensive to have two separate gaming set ups to enjoy other multiplayer games as opposed to one console with two controllers, I’d ask EA to consider expanding their selection for couch co-op other genres like Star Wars, battlefield or perhaps Lord of the rings. Or even a new game franchise, There’s definitely a market for it.33Views0likes1CommentVerify on recognised device not working

I am starting to think that they know what they are doing, seeing that the forum was the only resource that popped up when I was researching a problem I was pleasantly surprised to see a "contact us" button at the bottom of the support page. Now I was fully expecting an AI assistant, at least before speaking with support staff or having a ticket created, but what EA has created is well beyond any other assistant I have ever had the displeasure of navigating. Every single prompt from EA NextStep comes with little to no regard of the information you entered into the window previously. Beyond stating your name multiple times be prepared to state your problem, game, and system multiple times in repeat. And for those of you as gullible as me, hoping, praying to at least have an actual ticket created and maybe get a chance to have another person review your problem, let me save you the effort. At the end of each session with EA NextStep it will prompt you to the EA "Self Help" guide where the AI chose an article for you to read and hopefully fix the problem yourself, the only problem, it doesn't actually listen to your problem. I was trying to solve the random EA app failure on PC and beyond having to give it all of the important information multiple times, I was offered a generic "game help" article, a "login help" article, and a "connectivity troubleshooting" article, none of which actually addressed the problem or the fact that I had attempted many of the steps those articles were suggesting before trying to find more help. If anyone has a solution to the EA app bug, I would be very appreciative, but I will not hold my breath on EA finding the solution, as the multitude of threads on and off of this site complaining about the exact issue I was having, and the EA proposed solution, if all else fails, factory reset, and the EA app and EA games are just not worth that effort.365Views4likes8CommentsCan’t speak to a real person on an Account ban
My account was banned for no apparent reason. I don’t use game chat. I don’t write in game chat. As of late I have only played Battlefield 6 on a PS5 while in a discord voice chat with friends. My account was randomly banned and I have appealed several times and every time it just says denied with no explanation. I have poured tons of money into this EA account and it is connected to my PS5. This was clearly an error to ban my account when I don’t say or do anything inappropriate. Every time I go to the get more help on EA help I can’t get through to a real person. This is the worst system & customer service I have ever seen. I hope someone on the forums can help me talk to a real person without just giving a generic response that puts me in a loop with the ai chat bot again. Every time I fill the form out to get this appeal it is denied with no explanation.Solved130Views0likes5CommentsRegs leaderboard bug 🐛 fixed now
