mass transit
I really don't like the mass transit because it takes up so much space, but barely covers any area and it feels like half my city is just going to be train stations. Even the ones that have the most coverage don't seem to be enough. Is there anything that's going to change with this? Is covering my city for mass transit even worth it10Views0likes0CommentsA Sincere Request for the Future of the SimCity Franchise
Dear EA Strategy and Maxis Development Teams I am writing this message as a loyal fan and a long time player of the SimCity series. I want to share my thoughts on why now is the perfect time for a new SimCity title. Since 2013 the city building genre has changed but there is still a big gap in the market for the unique feel that only SimCity can provide. We miss the sophisticated simulation the distinct art style and the amazing music that made the series so special. With todays powerful hardware and AI the technical limits of the past are gone. As a player I am looking for a new SimCity experience that includes larger maps that allow for real city growth and deeper social simulations. I also hope for a strong single player mode that works offline and modern graphics that make the world feel alive. SimCity is a legendary brand. Bringing it back to its former glory is not just my dream as a player but also a great opportunity for EA. We are ready to be Mayors again. When will Maxis be ready to give us the keys to the city again. I look forward to seeing SimCity return. Best regards39Views1like0CommentsSim City will not work past Maxis loading screen
I downloaded Sim City, complete edition, yesterday. It worked just fine and I played it for a while. I tried to open the game back up today, but it won't work past the Maxis loading screen. I can still hear the audio, but it is stuck. I'm not sure what to do to fix this problem.Dummy city building option
Recently I had an idea of how I can improve my city map and get to inc buildings and tax returns but for that I had to assume some of the areas and draw it on paper and calc some of the road coverages. So if there can be an option that lets you build a dummy city where you don't have to worry about sims happiness rather you can focus on services and polution coverages and you can have better ways to improve city with your imagination.25Views0likes0CommentsStrong Suggestions to Improve SimCity BuildIt Club Communication and Management
Message: Dear SimCity BuildIt Team I’m reaching out as a long-time player and current Vice President of the Mayor’s Club “Championz_LandLordz.” The club system is one of the best parts of SimCity BuildIt — it brings players from all over the world together to collaborate, compete, and build amazing cities. However, several improvements could make the club experience even more effective, organized, and enjoyable for everyone. Here are our strongest recommendations and the reasons they would benefit the community: —Member Tagging System:— Allow players to tag or mention members by name (for example, using “@username”). This would help get members’ attention quickly during wars, trades, or important announcements — improving coordination and communication. —Club Polls and Voting Tools:— Add a simple poll or voting feature that lets presidents or deputies create polls for club decisions, such as war participation, leadership votes, or event planning. This would make clubs more democratic and engaging. —Simpler Club Invitation and Recruitment System:— Introduce a section that shows players who are not currently in any club so that presidents and deputies can invite them directly. Currently, we must search through the global trade list, which is time-consuming and inefficient. —Advanced Club Management Tools:— Allow presidents and deputies to post pinned announcements at the top of the club chat. Add a member activity tracker (such as last login or war participation) to help clubs stay active. Include options for leaders to customize club settings (e.g., language preference, city-level requirements, or war focus). —Improved Communication Features:— Add multi-line chat messages for clearer communication. Allow reactions or emojis in club chat to make it more interactive and friendly. Enable short club-wide notifications or reminders (for war start, donation requests, etc.). You should be able to talk to members privately, so you don't have to put them on the spot in front of others —Club Events and Recognition:— Create new club milestone achievements or rewards for teamwork and longevity. Introduce a Hall of Fame or expanded club leaderboard that recognizes clubs beyond just war rankings — for example, based on donations, event participation, or community engagement. These ideas would greatly strengthen player engagement, teamwork, and the overall club experience — helping clubs stay active and connected while motivating more players to stay involved long-term. Thank you for your continued dedication and creativity in developing SimCity BuildIt. Many of us have been loyal players for years because of your hard work, and we hope our feedback can help shape the future of the game positively. Sincerely, Smokie McPot Vice President, Championz_LandLordz Club of Rufftown’s club
