No Own The Lot
Am I tripping? I don't see any Own The Lot challenges anywhere on the map today. Yet this week has an Own The Lot task. Kinda hard to do that without any Own The Lot challenges. Am I being blind? Did your UI break again and display them as something else? Or did you forget to activate them? Also, I think it's lame to include OTL in Tix collection tasks, especially the mastery ones, where you have to actually complete all the goals 3 times. I've hung around an OTL marker several times with a party beacon, chatting "Co-op challenge", and most of the time I get completely ignored, and only one time did anyone join, and it was just 1 guy and we couldn't get all the goals. So in order to get all the Tix for the season pass I spent SVB on, I have to have 3 other friends who play skate and are good enough to complete 3 of these? I barely got the 4 goal task completed with my 1 friend who plays this game. That guy only plays occasionally, so it's not even like I can, or would want to, lean on him. I already treat this game enough like it's a job without having to do all this social crap too. Gimme a break.
Minor details to sort out and a few suggestions
As EA_Cuervo suggested in another thread, here are a few minor issues that could be fixed, along with some suggestions from me. First, regarding the EA forum, no matter how many times I choose an avatar, it always disappears, replaced by the default gray smiley face… In the game, even though I disable my character's voice, it's always active every time I launch the game. Finally, as a suggestion, I'd like the ability to position/resize stickers on the board and also use them on clothing, as well as the ability to wear a cap upside down or right side up, features that were present in previous skate games. Maybe being able to put 2 (or more) tattoos on the same body part. Alternatively, in the same vein, I could suggest band t-shirts (from bands featured in the game or not). I'm thinking specifically of the Slayer t-shirt that was available in Skate 2 (or 3, I can't remember; I recreated it, as well as other metal bands, using the editor and the sadly defunct sharing site "SkateFluckIt"). also release t-shirts from other metal bands (I have too many examples to list them all here). Just in case... Peace!Please scrap Skate.
This game has nothing to do with the grime and grunge of real skate culture and replaced it with AI slop and corporate greed. And to add a subscription service perfectly shows how this game was made with little thought with only the intentions that it will make money. We have a little joke in the car mechanic buisness, "cars are being made now for old people and tasteless corporate desk jockeys" the average game saying... "games are now made for money, greed, and kids" if you really do "hear out" your people look deeper into what people think of games like this and make changes based on what people wants, not what makes wealthy people more wealthy. Community Park "Voting"
Could you implement an easy voting system on Community Parks in the game? I love the new changes to the Community Parks. I feel like the layouts are designed much better and flow really smoothly compared to previous seasons. Today, for example, the Hedgemont one had nice setups that I'd love to be implemented in the map or upcoming parts of the map in the future. I was wondering if like a simple voting system wouldn't be useful to get feedback from the community on what is (dis)liked. It'll also give us a reason/incentive to check out the rotation of parks more frequently. And getting feedback from the community... isn't that what early access is all about?
((Black-Out Glitch))
So I been having issues lately with my game screen going into a complete Blackout during loading screen segments. It's happened 3 times just this evening? This happens loading from any random segment or restarting a challenge and just completely black out but you can still here the game sound and music in the background like it loaded but there is no action to the character just ambiance sounds Also been dealing with the issue of load screens just being stuck in a black screen buffer loop with only the skateboard kick flipping over and over again , never reloading the game. Only way I've found to actually clear these issues and actually get back in to play is to restart my gaming console. It's becoming a problem and was wondering if anyone else has been dealing with these same issues? I have the screen recording saved if the DEVs want them for reference purposes. Really puts a sour taste in your mouth when your trying to enjoy the game and it constantly wants to literally put you on the Black List! Hopefully this will resonate with some portion of the player base, but I would love to see a Local Split-screen Multiplayer option. I've recently started playing the game with my son, we take turns playing the game (I do my tasks/challenges and he just rolls around looking cool). We don't own another console and likely never will, so I think if there were an option for us to play the game together at the same time from the same console would be cool, he just wants to join in, but I'm sure this would be good for others in the player base, who perhaps have partners that would like to join in on a game session etc. Discuss.
