Xbox Freezing & Crashing BF6
I cannot express how frustrating this is and but the freezing/crashing of BF6 on Xbox makes the game simply unplayable. I’m experiencing the exact same crashing/freezing on my XBox S that occurred at release of BF6. I tried working through this 10-11 months ago and eventually gave up playing the game. Fast forward to August, I came back to the game foolishly thinking this issue HAD to be resolved by now, only to experience the exact same issues occurring again. BF6 is consistently freezing in both campaign and multiplayer on my Xbox Series S. This typically occurs within 5-15 mins into a campaign level or multiplayer match. In multiplayer matches, I'm rarely able to finish a match prior to the game crashing/freezing. When this happens, I'm consistently losing any progress from the matches. Like others have stated, the game just freezes/locks mid-level or mid-match. When the freeze/crash occurs, about 70% of the time I'm able to return to the Xbox Home Screen, the other 30% of the time the freeze/crash will crash the whole system forcing a auto-restart of the console. I’ve run through the following troubleshooting steps, countless time's at Enable Voice Chat is set to Off. Disable Quick Resume is enabled. Disabled the Allow 4k, Allow HDR10, Auto HDR, Allow Dolby Vision, and Dolby Vision for Gaming settings on the Xbox. Refresh Rate set to 60hz on the Xbox. Cleared/Deleted reserved local space data (multiple x’s). Fully re-installed the game on internal storage (multiple x’s). Hard restarted the Xbox (multiple x’s). Moved the game install to internal storage. I don’t have any ventilation/overheating issues with my XBox and don’t have problems with any other game. Moving the install from external storage to internal storage made no difference, the crashes occur on both external and internal storage. No matter what I do, the issue happens every time I attempt to play it. I ran through the same troubleshooting above last night after reinstalling the game again. The game crashed as soon as I opened a campaign mission (less than 5 mins). Fix this, it’s unacceptable.Game is absolutely unplayable on EA servers

Battlefield 6 is intermittently crashing my entire PC. I’m having a very inconsistent crashing issue with Battlefield 6 on PC. Sometimes the game runs perfectly and I can play normally, but other times it crashes my entire PC. It can happen during the initial launch, while I’m still in the main menu, or during gameplay, it isn't specifically related to entering a match. When it crashes, sometimes I get a Windows BSOD showing MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (0x1A), while other times I get a completely black screen with no error or message at all. My system: CPU: Xeon Gold GPU: RTX 2080 Super RAM: 128 GB OS: Windows 11 Platform: Steam Other games and applications work normally. I’ve already tried reinstalling Steam/Battlefield 6, dealt with the Steam download issues, lowered the graphics settings, and capped the FPS to 60. Despite this, the game can still randomly cause a full system crash, while other times it runs completely fine. I’m wondering if this could be related to EA Javelin anti-cheat, overlays/background software, a driver conflict, or another Battlefield 6-specific issue. Has anyone else experienced BF6 causing either a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (0x1A) BSOD or a completely black-screen system crash? Really need help with this.Solved91Views0likes5Comments"Kicked for Inactivity"
PC, I can't even get into a match. Game acts like it's searching for a match, and the search progress bar gets a bout a quarter of the way out and then the entire application freezes. Less than a minute later I'm hit with "You were kicked for inactivity." This has been multiple days and multiple attemps at getting into a match a day. I've deactivated FRS in graphics and still can't get into a match. I've restarted my router, I've restarted my PC, I've cleared my cache, I've verified game files, I still can't get into a match. I can't get a hold of ANYONE at EA. This has only happened after they started requiring SecureBoot to play any of their content. Spent $60 on a game and I can't even play it.RX 9070 – BF6 crashes during shader compilation black screen GPU Code 22/31
System: GPU:AMD Radeon RX 9070 CPU:Ryzen 5 7600X Motherboard:MSI B650 PSU:XFX 650W Gold, 650W OS:Windows 10 Game:Battlefield 6 – Steam GPU:Stock/default settings Problem Battlefield 6 was running normally for approximately one week with no problems. The issue then suddenly started. (Worked fine in previous seasons 1 and 2) The crash is consistently associated with shader compilation when launching BF6. The sequence is: Launch BF6. Shader compilation begins. (Gets stuck at 28.4%) GPU utilisation becomes extremely high during compilation. BF6 freezes. Monitor loses signal and the screen goes completely black. Game audio continues for approximately one minute. Win + Ctrl + Shift + B does not recover the display. A forced shutdown/restart is required. After reboot, the RX 9070 is disabled in Device Manager with Code 22. After re-enabling the GPU, I have also encountered Code 31 / AMD display driver failure. The game is currently unable to get through the shader compilation stage reliably. Windows errors observed Reliability Monitor/Event Viewer has recorded: LiveKernelEvent 193 Parameter 1: 801 Windows Hardware Error AMD External Events Clientstopped working Kernel-Power / Windows was not shut down properly following the forced restart I have not found any WHEA errors. Troubleshooting performed I have already tried: Steam file verification o BF6 repeatedly reports 3 files failed to validate and will be reacquired Completely uninstalling and reinstalling BF6 AMD Cleanup Utility DDU in Safe Mode Multiple clean AMD driver installations Rolling back to AMD driver 25.10.13.02 GPU physically reseated GPU power cable reseated Running the GPU at stock/default settings sfc /scannow o Windows found and repaired corrupted system files OCCT 3D Adaptive GPU stress test o Heavy test ran for approximately 15 minutes without reported errors Tested S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 for approximately 2 hours without a crash Checked Windows Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor Checked for WHEA errors Important observation The RX 9070 appears to be stable outside Battlefield 6. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 can run for approximately two hours without crashing, and the GPU also passes an OCCT GPU stress test. The failure therefore appears to be strongly associated with Battlefield 6, specifically the shader compilation/loading stage. Timing / possible 1.4.2.0 connection The game worked normally for approximately a week before this problem appeared. I believe the problem may have started around the BF6 1.4.2.0 update, although I cannot prove this conclusively. Because the problem has also persisted after rolling back to AMD 25.10.13.02, I don't believe this can simply be attributed to the latest AMD driver. Possible shader/engine issue I've seen other reports of RX 9070/9070 XT systems experiencing black screens and GPU driver failures during BF6 shader compilation. There has also been discussion that the shader compilation workload may be placing an unusually heavy load on the GPU. During my own crashes, GPU utilisation appears to reach 100% during shader compilation immediately before the display is lost. I am not claiming that BF6 is physically over-volting or damaging the GPU, but I am wondering whether there is an issue with the BF6/Frostbite shader compilation workload and the AMD RDNA 4 driver/GPU scheduling or boost behaviour. What I would like to know Has EA/DICE identified any known issue with: Battlefield 6 1.4.2.0 + AMD RX 9000/RDNA 4 + shader compilation causing: shader compilation → GPU/driver hang → black screen → Code 22/31 after reboot? I unfortunately don't have a BF6/ Amd crash dump files handy, Thanks.BF6 on PC Crashes and Restarts PC
Hello Battlefield Support, Every time I attempt to play BF6 on my PC, the game will crash, a notification on my screen saying "Something is wrong with your PC" and will restart my whole system. In my research, there does not seem to be any clear explanation as to why this problem is happening or any solid solutions that seem to address this common problem. Any clarity on potential solutions or updates would be much appreciated. (My xbox is connected to my router with an ethernet cable ) I’ve been in 10-15 matches today and only one had a good connection. 2 of the matches crashed completely for everyone playing. The rest was lagging throughout the entire match (which did not last very long due to my team skipping across the map continuously). This is getting ridiculous. Take some of those millions of dollars you have made from this game and fix your servers.20Views0likes0CommentsMatchmaking Randomly Stops Filling Lobbies - Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep
I would like to report a matchmaking issue in the limited-time Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep mode. The problem is that the matchmaking system frequently appears to stop adding new players to the lobby. For example, the player count may reach most often 6 or 7 and then remain stuck there. Players then start leaving, but no new players are added while this is happening. The lobby count may look like this: 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5 > 6 or 7 (stuck for several minutes), causing players to become impatient and leave > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 Eventually, I am left alone in the lobby. It can then remain in this state for around a minute before the matchmaking system suddenly starts adding players again. This cycle can repeat up to even three times before the match finally starts, provided that I remain in the lobby. It looks as if the lobby temporarily stops accepting or searching for additional players instead of continuously filling the available slots. I do not think this is simply a matter of players becoming impatient and leaving, because the first few players are always found very quickly. After that, however, matchmaking suddenly appears to freeze and stops adding additional players for the next few minutes.63Views1like3CommentsFix the game properly please!!
