Request for Online Co-Op 2v2 friendly
Dear EA Sports FIFA Development Team, I am writing to strongly suggest a feature that I believe would significantly improve the online experience in FIFA 26 or FIFA 27 and strengthen the community around the game. Many players enjoy playing Co-Op with friends, but at the moment this experience is very limited. I believe it is essential to introduce a true online Co-Op mode that allows 4 friends from different locations to play together in teams of 2 vs 2. Specifically, the ability to: Invite multiple friends from different locations Create custom teams of 2 vs 2 Play online matches against other friends or matchmaking opponents Use this mode in friendly matches and potentially in competitive modes Football is a team game, and FIFA should reflect that more realistically. Many of us play regularly with friends who live in different cities or countries, and we want to experience the game together, not just alone or in limited Co-Op formats. This feature would: Increase long-term player engagement Encourage social play and teamwork Make FIFA more competitive, fun, and modern Bring FIFA closer to how players actually enjoy football with friends Other games already offer flexible multiplayer systems, and FIFA has a huge opportunity to lead in this area. Literally when fc25 ended I genuinely thought the only positive I could take from it was that they couldn't create anything worse, at the start of 26 I thought that was I correct as the years gone I'm really not sure I've definitely realised this year it's better to wait for the game to go on discount and let the other players test run it first
Improvements to Tactics
We could have the option to choose each player's position. We just need a tactical system that is free and fluid. We would like to be able to choose whether a midfielder will be a DM, CM, or CAM, and not just choose pre-programmed tactics. That yellow exclamation mark is extremely inconvenient. I know my player is out of position and I want him to play there! You don't need to tell me that. Not all of us need as many sub-positions as we have today. We don't need to know about deep-lying playmaker, playmaker, box-to-box midfielder, or opportunist. Through each player's assignments, we know what we want. These sub-positions delay team building and condition lineups. I think disabling this much information could be optional. Viewing the overall rating should also be optional.Not getting wins when the opponent quits
Please can something be done about players quitting the game when they're losing and the opponent does not get the win. I play online Seasons and almost every game the opponent quits when I am in a winning position. They either wait till 80+ minutes to quit or if they're losing by a big scoreline, they will quit the game immediately and I will not get the win nor will there be a record to show I played that opponent. Sometimes they will cheat by pausing the game, do something to quit and a message will show "you have lost connection to your opponent..." Sometimes the disconnection will be immediately after you score (almost instantly) and you will not get the win and there will be no record of that game. And finally, they also cheat by stop playing after you score. The game will restart from the centre circle and the opponent will not move at all, then after approximately a minute you will lose connection to your opponent and not get the win etc. The level of frustration this causes when people are doing it almost every game is immense and I will not play online Seasons anymore until this issue is fixed. Hello, I'm a women's football enthusiast in FC 26 and I'd like to share some ideas for improvements. National Cups National cups could be made available for each national league present in the game. It doesn't need to be the real cup, just a playoff system to have one more tournament in the season. For example, in parallel with the WSL (which will have 14 teams), we could have a cup in the first half of the season (simulating the league cup) and one in the second (simulating the FA Cup). Just having 14 teams would already be fun and would affect concerns such as squad management, fatigue, and travel. It would be interesting. Something similar could be done in Spain with something resembling the Copa de la Reina. UEFA Women's Europa Cup We know there aren't many women's teams available in the game, but I believe it's possible to have this competition in a playoff style as it is in real life. Some leagues could qualify their fourth-placed teams, and other teams from the Rest of the World could be there to compete. Stadiums We know that women's teams don't always play in the club's main stadiums, which are usually used by the men's team. Therefore, women's teams could be configured to play in smaller stadiums, with a simpler environment and not necessarily full stadiums. This would bring more realism to the game. National Teams Even though there aren't many women's national teams, it would be interesting to have their players called up for their respective countries, like Brazil, Japan… We wouldn't be able to watch these games, so if the call-up happened it would already be interesting. Coaching National Teams Since there are no continental tournaments or World Cup in the game, in my opinion it makes no sense to be able to coach national teams in parallel to play friendlies. It's extremely boring and without a clear objective. We should have qualifiers and major tournaments for these national teams. Since there aren't, there's no reason to be able to coach them. This doesn't happen with coaches in real life. National Teams Is it only possible to have licensed national teams? Isn't it possible to have a Croatia team, with the Croatian flag and a generic uniform? I should point out that playing women's career mode reminds me of the old days when there weren't many clubs available in football games. On behalf of players all around the world, I would like to present the following request: Adding Classic Leagues and Classic Teams and more to EA FC 26 Why Classic Leagues and Classic Teams? Football is not just about the present. It is a global culture built by legendary eras, unforgettable teams, and iconic leagues that live on in the memories of millions. Bringing these historical periods into the game would offer a powerful experience for nostalgic fans while also introducing younger players to the roots of football greatness. How Would This Feature Improve the Game? Unique Gameplay Variety Iconic squads from the 90s and 2000s would add incredible depth and diversity. The tactics, kits, team identities, and playstyles of past eras would enrich the overall experience. Enhances All Game Modes Kick-Off, Tournament, Career Mode, and even Ultimate Team could benefit from exclusive classic content. Special themes like “Classic Seasons,” “Retro Tournaments,” “Legends League,” and more could keep players deeply engaged. Strong Community Demand For years, one of the most requested features among the player base has been the return of classic teams. Introducing them would significantly boost player satisfaction and community loyalty. A Worldwide Demand This suggestion is not just mine—it's one of the most consistent and widely supported requests across social media, forums, and community discussions. Bringing classic content to EA FC 26 would create a perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation, appealing to both old-school fans and the new generation of players. Adding classic leagues (e.g., 90s Premier League, 90’s and 2000s Serie A, early 2000s La Liga, etc.) Restoring legendary club rosters (such as 1996 and 2003’s Juventus, 2005 AC Milan, 2008 Barcelona, 1999 Manchester United, 2002 Galatasaray, 1998 Real Madrid and more) Implementing era-specific kits, ball designs, stadium atmospheres, and tactical styles to accurately reflect each period Conclusion The EA FC series has inspired millions of players across generations. Incorporating classic leagues and teams would further strengthen this legacy, delivering a richer and more complete football experience for both long-time fans and newcomers. We truly hope the EA Sports team will consider this request on behalf of the global community. Finally If these classic squads and teams are brought into the game, the current pool of ICON players will no longer be sufficient to create complete and authentic rosters. For example, to accurately represent a classic Juventus team, players such as Edgar Davids, Alessio Tacchinardi, David Trezeguet, and many more must be added. This is essential for delivering a fully immersive and accurate experience. We kindly request that this point be given special consideration. We ask for retro boots to be included and assigned to classic players. Iconic models like the Adidas Predator Precision and Predator Mania should be visible on the feet of legends such as Del Piero, Zidane, and Beckham. I've been playing FC 26 for 4 months now on PS5, and I've encountered several persistent issues tat haven't been addressed yet: Squad Management Bug: When editing formations or the starting XI with National Teams, there is a bug that prevents changing player positions (including the bench). This happens randomly across diferent teams. In adition, changes to formations and basic match settings (like match duration) are often not saved. Also there is a thing that doesnt have sense. Why in the squad edit menu there are 7 players in the bench but when you go to other modes there are 9 only with male teams ? FUT Draft AI Crash: Every time I reach the final in FUT Draft against the AI, the game crashes a few seconds after the match starts. I receivve an error notification, and the problem persist every time I try to resumen. Missing Saudi Arabia Team: If I reset rosters or play offline, the Saudi Arabia national team completely disappears from the game. It becomes impossible to edit or select for matches. Female footballer career mode: The objetives screen have some bug and doenst disappear after the start of the second leg I think fixing these issues should be a priority. It honestly feels like too much storage space is being used for cosmetics instead of solving the core bugs that break the game experience. If certain features or content are broken and wont be fixed, or are useless (like the career mode in LIVE), it would be better to remove them entirely to save space and prioritize fixing what actually matters for the gameplay and the inclusion of more national teams (male and female) for tournaments, quick match and career mode. As this years game is so badly coded that textures in the menu don't even load all the time i guess i speak for all players that we should get next years game for free as a refund for this years and to help you go back to the days you had a playerbase :/ from my squadbattle ranking which is the first time not in the first 5% i guess the player numbers are terrible :/ If this doesn't happen i hope nobody will buy there next game as a sign that we don't accept this unfinished game every year -_- i guess i marked everything that was terrible this year ;(
