This community contest was started purely to unite our community and keep the traffic going to keep us all active and keep us all having a bunch of fun together in the process. This contest will be a fast tracked contest (finished in less than 4 weeks) and will be on-going. Our modelling community is a small community, and this contest is directed at long term members and newbies to find their feet in. You will face creative challenges, ad challenges, and some possible role-play challenges to justify why you should be the holder of the title. Overall they will be nice and easy challenges so you can stick to the time line each round. I'm your host, Jojo. I've hosted many contests on this community. You will receive a full and detailed breakdown each round, but will not be given any scoring after round 5 to keep our winner a secret! In the meantime i will give a full breakdown of who won the picture, along with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th and who was most improved from previous rounds. You will not comments each round, but you will receive a pros and cons to your pictures so you know where you might be slipping up or doing well. Each judge will be given 30 points to judge with : First place - 10 points Second place - 8 points Third place - 6 points Fourth place - 4 points Fifth place - 2 points I will keep a tally of each round to determine a winner (you will be shown the tally up until round 5), and you will receive a complete scoring breakdown cumulatively at the end also. Make sure to bookmark this thread! Provide a reliable and updated modeling tag list for hosts. Quite a few hosts are tagging inactive people! Avoid schedule and competition clashing. Too many competitions at once can cause problems for hosts and models. The “Current” and “Upcoming” Lists will help hosts make better decisions on when to release competitions. Also to avoid people taking an idea of someone who hasn’t published their competition yet, because we all know how frustrating it is to work on something and then be too late at publishing it! Avoid stealing competitions/names, intentionally and unintentionally. I don’t mean sharing the same ideas, I mean someone intentionally looking for a comp to steal, or accidentally matching the majority of a comp by pure accident. Back to names, we want to avoid naming competitions the same thing when we can in order to avoid confusion with older/newer models down the line, and because as @NotMeMaggie (previously @Mhamilton0911 ) said, “The super successful comp names are like a brand for the comp host.” Still on the two above this: Competitions based on shows or real life competitions are unavoidable in this community and are therefore not subject to the naming or competition reason. Competitions come labeled with the hosts name, so just be sure to look at the name before clicking if you are looking for a specific one. (Yes, that means multiple Project Runways, American Horror Story, Next Top Model, Miss Universe, etc. are possible and unavoidable, but probably not at the same time. And legally speaking they belong to none of us.) Provide inspiration for those looking for an idea. We will have a list of requested/previously failed ideas that people can run, which means people can leave ideas in the thread for others to use. Provide a place for feedback about competition ideas. No more making separate threads asking if people are interested, and less of a chance of competitions failing! We will have polls or feedback posts so everyone can give their opinions on an idea. Sul sul, o/ We noticed Simmers were creating a lot of threads to find or share your Sims Youtube and Twitch channels. So what we've done is merged those threads together to create this MEGA THREAD!!! :D Please use this thread going forward and have fun discovering others channels as well as promoting your own ^^ Guidelines for this thread: The Forum rules apply so we'd ask folks to double check their channel content is forum appropriate i.e. it must hold up against the rules in this forum. The hottest male sim in the world
Hey! We all remember @plopppo 's Samantha sim who was voted the hottest female sim in the universe. Today, it's time to choose the hottest male sim in the whole world. And I think my sim deserves to be crowned the hottest male sim, for sure. His name is Renji and he was inspired by a character from the anime BLEACH, Renji Abarai. I wanted to imagine what he might have looked like if he were a human. And this is what I came up with. His traits are Bro, Active, and Self-Assured. When I go into CAS and randomize sims the same combo seems to appear a lot more often than others. The sims will have big eyes, a small nose and a slightly weird mouth. It's also happening when I use the genetics thing to add a child to a single parent - the random genetics tend to be like that too. Not that big a deal but annoying when the game generates ones like these and they start showing up around the neighbourhood. Does this happen to anyone else? Everyone can continue until round 9 when the cumulative score will determine the final 3 to continue to round 10 and the finale. This contest will be challenging but hopefully lots of fun.
