*fixed*UI Bugs when opening the Simology Panel for teen/child-July 23rd Patch
Game UI bugs when I open the Simology panel for teens/kids already played including ones downloaded from the gallery that have saved skills/character values. The sims in question already have time played on them, their skill levels are up and character values are also up. When the UI bugs i am unable to travel, open up the game menu/settings and live mode. The only option that works is manage Worlds however it does not go out to the manage worlds screen once you save and exit or just exit. It remains as a black screen with sim icons and emotes going ( game is still running on the household) The bottom UI buttons for the sims themselves is fine to flip through, but if you'retrying to bring up a menu it goes no where eg on the phone to travel, bring up job options etc So far I have replicated the issue everytime in my game, noted below scenarios: Current household is one i downloaded from my gallery, the teens already had skills and character values against them. Added an elder to the household via create a sim to put them in the world. Elder sim similogy loaded without bugging, teen simology bugged the game. Loaded an old save with a teen sim in the family, opened a young adult, adult, elder and toddler simology panel- were fine teen however bugged out. Loaded an old save with a child in the household, both young adults Loaded fine but when I Loaded the child simology panel it glitches out. I am noting character values as when I get the teen/child simology panel opened, the top feature is their character values and they are going haywire by constantly changing when the teen/child themselves aren't doing anything. As long as I don't click simology the game runs fine (so far). This seems to be a bug with the new update and parenthood. I play without mods, I had to start fresh with a whole new sims 4 folder due to getting a constant error loading one of my sims family in my old sims 4 folder. However I did test this with both folders (clean slate and old saves)

CAS STILL broken after newest update
Just came here to say, for the unfortunate 5th day in a row, that CAS is still causing my entire game to crash and I still have to force-exit through task manager (I describe the full issue in my previous post). Atp just give me my money back if I’m not allowed to play the game I paid money for. They’re not even addressing the CAS issue at all either, just the other bugs which they’ve already updated more than once. At least say you’re going to investigate this issue that hundreds of other people are experiencing instead of just ignoring it…

The Sims 4 CAS won't open after update.
Hello guys, My game ran the newest update and after loading up the game. Create A Sim will NOT work. It stays at the loading screen on a continuous loop. Is anyone else having this isse? I have had to force close the game each time because it simpley wont work. I used minimal MODS, I do have a lot of maxis match CC but everything was fine until after the update. HELP PLEASE:( !!

My UI just is just not working since the new update 7/24/2024
So when I first open the game everything seems okay, but then you look at the menu on the bottom right hand the icons don't match up to what they're supposed to be. I can click on them for a bit, but I can't scroll or interact with them, and if I keep playing the game, the menus stop opening up. The same goes for the top right-hand corner. All the menus don't open up, and I can't quit the game. I have to force quit the game to exit so I can't save the gameplay.

Simology Panel Broken
Hi there whenever I open the Simology panel the Parenthood trait meter only pops up (without icons) and it has arrows going up and the dial going from all the way green to all the way red nonstop. After opening it as well my game will not allow me to enter into a new screen. Very buggy. I also have no MODS installed either.

CAS won’t stop crashing
Everything else appears to have been resolved in the newest hotfix, but CAS is still very clearly broken. Editing an existing Sim is showing to be virtually impossible without the game crashing altogether, and CAS itself is glitchy or won’t open at all. I have to force-exit the game through task manager whenever this occurs, because it’s just stuck on a loading screen forever. This is incredibly frustrating. I paid 40$ of my own money for this new pack, and I can’t even play the game without it crashing whenever I open CAS. I am about to demand my money back if this isn’t resolved soon. It’s nice all other things have been fixed, but it would be nice if they now fixed whatever is wrong with CAS. I’m trying to be patient but this is the 4th day in a row of me trying to launch the game and it just crashing over and over again. CAS is one of the main features of the game and it’s just not working anymore.

8/8/24 update
After the recent update of 8/8/24 I’ve had multiple problems with my game. I can’t access the Simology panel without it closing out several times, only the traits display, nothing else. I can’t save my game, access build/buy mode or CAS. Whenever I try to go into the options menu to restart my game, I can’t even get into the options menu- so I have to force quit the entire application. I’ve updated my MODS, taken them out (completely), repaired my game via the EA Play App, and also wiped my Sims 4 files and downloaded the entire game (and add-on’s) to a clean state and still run into these problems.

cannot pay bills
i have updated my game, taken out all mods and cc, and cleared the ea app cache. and it still does not give the option to pay bills. I do not have the new romance pack either. i've seen others with a similar post. i just get the pop up saying bills are due in zero days with no way to pay them. the repo person did not come either. everything else in the game is working properly. it's just super lame when the sims just keep having all this money because they never pay bills. i saw on EA answers that there are quite a few people having this problem.
