I've had enough
this is the one thing I do in my free time that I actually find joy in and its gone. I've done everything spent so many hours trying to fix this deleted all my cc and mods nothing works game keeps crashing. I'm honestly so upset do we think they will refund my the almost $2000 ive spend on the game I did contact someone I know that could help me if ea refuses to refund me and can give advice they gave me to anyone else looking to go the route too ive paid so much for a service I am unable to now use due to the company's error and hatred towards their customers ive been such a loyal gamer for years through out everything negative but I can't even open my game I HATE these people. I want all my money back and find a new game.
New idea for game
I was looking at the desk and some of the school-related items and started thinking—why not expand their functionality to include options like homeschooling, tutoring services as a business, or even running a daycare? Right now, desks feel a bit underused unless you’re playing as a teen Sim actively attending school, so adding more interactive and purposeful features could make gameplay feel more realistic and engaging. For example, a homeschooling option could allow parents to take a more active role in their child’s education. They could choose what subjects to focus on, set specific schedules (like mornings vs. afternoons), and decide how long each lesson lasts. There could even be different teaching styles—structured, creative, or skill-based—that influence how children develop traits and abilities. Over time, these choices could impact a child’s academic performance, personality traits, and even give them a slight skill boost when they age up. Similarly, tutoring could be turned into a small business or side hustle. Sims could offer tutoring sessions in specific skills (like logic, writing, or creativity), helping other Sims improve while earning income. This would add depth to career-building and allow for more flexible, home-based work options. A daycare feature would also add a fun and practical layer to gameplay. Sims could care for multiple children at once, manage schedules, and engage them in activities that build early-life skills. This could tie into responsibility traits, patience, and even social skills for both the caregiver and the children. Overall, these additions would make school-related objects feel more meaningful, while also giving players more control over how their Sims learn, grow, and interact in everyday life.
New Pack Broke My Game??
So, i downloaded the new royalty pack yesterday, and since then my game has been buggy as all heck. I try to go to the new world and it gets stuck on this screen and just refuses to let me close it or do anything unless I alt F4 it closed. Can somebody help me figure out how to fix it or something.
add sports to game
if yall want some money add an expansion back with baseball fields and basketball courts and etc . give the kids an option to play sports between softball, cheer, basketball, baseball , etc . it would be really cool and even a cool job idea as the sims can add their own version of the NBA / NFL and have professional sports playersi cant access the different worlds i have downloaded
ive just downloaded the sims on my pc again after having given up on it in the past, and since i downloaded all the dlcs i have on the game they were first showing up were inacessible, and saying i needed to restart the ea app. that didnt work, so i searched it up on this forum and followed a tutorial. so then i deleted the dlc downloads from the steam download and downloaded them again from the ea app. when i finished downloading them all and started the game up again they werent showing up at all. help please i just want to play the game i hate ea

New Reported Issue - "Not enough Space to install"
Hello! There are several user reports upon reinstalling the game that several Packs will not install and instead give a "Not Enough Space to Download" error. This is happening when there is plenty of space available, and of course no mods installed yet. I am hoping this post can serve as a place to compile info regarding this Error. If you are having this error and are willing to share some details Windows or Mac? HOW did you uninstall? (Via EA/Steam, Control Panel, manually deleting files, and uninstaller program, etc) Which Packs are not installing? Have you changed your install path? I hope we can get you back to Simming soon! Ideas for Project X and The Sims 4
Dear developers, today, after watching the news from Hobogivili, on this significant day I’m sharing with you what I’ve seen in my dreams for The Sims: Project X. This is a very pressing topic, because today, right now, I have the task of revealing to you my dream, my vision for Project X. And I’m very worried about this. In general, I envision that after the main loading screen, there’s space with the Sims’ planet at its centre. After scrolling with the mouse wheel, we zoom in on the planet and enlarge the landscape. Once we’ve zoomed in as far as possible, we see a continent and cities — some accessible to us, others not until an update is released. Or perhaps we see empty areas that will transform into cities, suburbs, towns, and villages with future expansions. This implementation is needed so that you don’t have to worry about how you’ll add vacation islands. For example, Siudemorade is all jungles, which can’t exist in the main country due to the climate. Then there’s Antarctica or beaches like Ibiza — these are islands that don’t need to be fully unlocked. It’s enough to give us a large playable area, as was done in The Sims 4. If you want, you can fully develop an island as a vacation spot. But I’m thinking about you, about your efforts, and about saving resources — just as investors and EA want. So vacation spots could be implemented like in The Sims 4: partially, giving us a few blocks for отдыха (rest/vacation), but connected together and logically linked. I don’t know how you see it. This way, each player can place 1 to 8 families, for example, on the right panel for quickly jumping into their virtual lives. All this takes place on the The Sims planet screen. It’s time for you to believe in yourselves and your abilities, to truly see and feel the full scale and potential of The Sims — what it will be, what it will become, and what it already is. Next, regarding The Sims 4: I’d really like you to update the animations, work on character traits and life situations, and refresh the cities. “Refreshing cities” means adding new gameplay mechanics that have come with expansions. For instance, children playing hide‑and‑seek on their own at the playground. In the morning, a neighbour goes out to walk her dog, and so on. Just give them a little touch‑up — like dusting off your work before the final finish. Next, add new animations for Sims and new interactions with objects: pulling a blanket out of a closet and falling asleep on the couch, or unfolding a sofa for guests and preparing it for their overnight stay. Also, take inspiration from The Sims Community and your own moodlets — your moodlets contain far more animations and possibilities that haven’t yet been implemented in the game. Also, work on and update Sim relationships and life situations — for example, showing how a Sim can be happy even when they’re broke or can’t pay their rent. Let them cry, writhe under the weight of their burdens, and so on. Plus, in both The Sims 4 and Project X, it would be great to have the option to borrow money from friends and acquaintances. I know this feature exists, but not via their smartphone. It would be nice to see it better integrated. Overall, you can keep playing and working on both Project X and The Sims 4 for a long time — and keep improving them, so you can bring the game to a worthy level, up to the heights of Olympus! Далее поработайте, обновите отношения симов и жизненные ситуации — типа того, как симс может быть счастлив, когда он без денег или у него нет возможности оплатить счета за квартиру. Пусть рыдает, бьётся в конвульсиях от тяжести бремени и так далее. Плюс в The Sims 4 и проекте X было бы классно увидеть возможность занимать деньги в долг у друзей и знакомых. hello everyone i’ve purchased all the packs today, i got a message that they would take a bit to install and download. waited a bit and nothing happened. i checked through market place. when i try to install the packs it says something went wrong, only 3 of my packs installed and downloaded correctly. help!!!
