BF6 1st Beta Feedback
I’ve really enjoyed the overall gameplay in the Battlefield 6 beta — the combat feels solid and the movement is impressively fluid, which makes for an engaging experience. However, I did notice some performance issues, especially on the “Siege of Kairo” map, where frame rates doesnt feel like how they are monitored. Additionally, the graphics seem a bit off compared to what I expected from trailers and videos online; everything looks somewhat washed out and the textures aren’t as sharp as they appear in gameplay previews. I understand that getting the visual tone just right can be tricky, but hopefully these aspects can be fine-tuned before the full release. For reference, I’m running the game on a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, RX 7900 XTX GPU, with 32GB of 6000MHz RAM. The game is obviously installed on an SSD. Just sharing in case anyone’s curious about my setup.BF6 Open Beta – Debris Issues & immersion Other Feedback
BF6 Open Beta feedback Debris after destruction disappears within seconds — this kills immersion. Would be great if it stayed longer. When inside a building that’s destroyed, the soldier somehow survives. This feels unrealistic. Thanks for finally adding mouse and keyboard support for consoles — big step forward! My view of BATTLEFIELD 6 so far
This is my view of the game ( so far ) after 16 hours of game..... This is not the BATTLEFIELD that the OG players were promissed at all... game doesn't feel like a Battlefield ( all we wanter was a new Battlefield 4 but this is not it ) this game was not made for the OG players at all this seeams like it was made for COD players.... ( RUN AND GUN ) classes dont fell unique at all. i will keep playing BATTLEFIELD 4 thank you..... "(CAN WE HAVE A BATTLEFIELD 4 REMAKE and not touch anything else just the visuals... thanks") --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Performance PC: Performance on PC is good the game is very well Optimized I played it on a ( Ryzen 7 7700x - RX 9070 16GB- 32GB ram 6000MHZ ) game run verry well on "HIGH" giving consistent 120FPS+ ( 120-160 ) ( never droped from 120) so as a performance pointo good job the game runs really well... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gameplay Feedback: - Classes dont fell unique. - Damage is inconsistent. - Sniper damages are too low 64 Damage ( At mid range this also relates to the inconsistent damage as some times it even needs 2 headshots to get a kill and some times 1 is enough) should be 80 ( minimum Damage no matter the distance ) to allow a " Easy kill " with pistol os knife after an uper body shot . - Shotgun DAMAGE IS TOO HIGH. -Game is too fast in everything... it needs to slow down in general... we want a BATTLEFIELD a tatical slow game..... not a cod clone for Run and gun with 0 tatics. -Game maps for this beta were too small ( it reminded me of " PearlMarket " " Operation Metro " and " Operation Locker " but now with tanks and way to fast paced. -Roles are useless ( this relates to the classes not feeling unique at all) No one revives, so far recon is only good for spoting and nothing else. Engineer seams the more banlanced one to me even if the RPG are week aganist veicles ( this relates to inconsisten damages ) WE NEED SERVER BROWSER AND PRESISTENT SERVERS like in BF4 WHAT WE WANT ( I thing the OG's ) 1-server browser 2) Presistant server alowing to play the same lobby after the game is over with the same people that was in the last game ( Team balance Scramble if need ) 3) Stars/ribbons/medals ( Like in BF4 to give a feel of Pregression and achievement) 4) Closed class weapons ( On all Modes... to make the classes feel unique ) 5) Larger maps and longer games 6) Music ramping up as the game nears its end, An actual Flag on Capture points instead of an UI -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will play again the beta weekend 2 to see if there is some changes... but i fear that we will never be able to get a new real " BATTLEFIELD " and because of that BF4 is still keep being played even with BF6 release because one of them is a BattleField Game the other one is something else named Battlefield. If you read all of this Thank you for your time... you may or may not agree but this are my points of view so far about the game.... And sorry for any mistakes this is not my 1st language :)My experience in BF6 and feedback.
This is my experience from BF6 and problems I spotted while playing for 15 hours+. First was recoil, it feels like all guns have nearly the same amount of recoil with little variation between guns and gun shots but also after stopping shooting it automatically goes back for you though most battlefields do this, but it feels too easy. Second is the pace of the game, it is too fast for a battlefield, in previous battlefields gameplay can be fast in parts but not everywhere. In BF6 it feels like they are trying to copy call of duty instead of just doing what battlefields are/used to be. Map size is also too small for conquest which makes it faster paced. Third is destruction, there is not enough. I was expecting entire buildings to be levelled like in bad company 2 but it's just certain parts like walls, front of buildings or the floor on the conquest point in Iberia. It was a bit of a letdown expecting what the trailers and the video with people talking about the game showed and talked about but i can get used to it as it's slightly better than BF4 handled destruction apart from the shanghai tower. Also, it should take a little more damage to destroy parts on buildings. Fourth. Weapons need a bit more balancing which can be understandable as it's a beta. They should do more damage and should count like games like insurgency: sandstorm they do more realistic damage. RPGs can be shot near enemies and do 10 damage or C4 blown up right next to an enemy and doesn't kill them does about 10 damage as well. Also, weapons should take longer to swap and draw especially sniper rifles and machine guns and rpgs. Reloads should also take longer and be slowed down especially for machine guns and rpgs. Repair tool should repair slower to prevent them becoming invincible when you have two engineers repairing it at the same time. Fifth is Classes. Classes should be locked to their weapons all modes should do this and not have it split with closed and normal modes. Normal modes should lock classes to their weapons. Assault should have the second primary weapon removed and med kits returned as in previous battlefields and supports just have ammo not ammo and med kits. Sixth is Vehicles. They do not handle very good. Especially flying vehicles. Seventh is movement, Crouch sprinting is a bad idea and not at all even realistic or like battlefield and the movement seems too fast more like super soldiers should be slowed down. Fall damage should be a lot more you can jump out a window at 3-storeys and receive no damage. Eight are maps. The three maps for the beta are too small for conquest, they should be about 1/3 bigger which will also slow the pace down back to normal battlefield pace. Ninth is multiplayer. While cross-play is great console and pc players should have the ability to turn it off as aim assist is too strong making it unfair for pc players. Aim assist should be a nudge in the right direction and around the player not directly on them so it turns into aimbot. Tenth is cod influence. You can tell MW 2019 heavily influenced a lot of the gameplay while it was a great game and my first cod this is battlefield not cod. While also playing a lot of the sound are directly copied from cod MW 2019 as you can hear when navigating the menu or beginning a game. Even the starting animation on matches is influenced by cod too not just standing and waiting like previous battlefields. Lastly. The graphics do look good but could be better and the game is not well optimized with one of the top gaming pc's you can buy which in my case is MSI Godlike Z890, Intel Ultra Core 9 285k, RTX 5090 and 4x Corsair dominator titanium DDR5 48GB at 6000 MHz because with full graphics with vsync on and frame rate limited to 144 with no anti-aliasing and no frame generation I get 60 FPS with plenty of CPU and GPU left as my CPU runs at 50% highest and GPU runs at 40% highest it should be maxing it out but it just isn't. Overall, it's a lot better than BF 2042 but far off being good enough to be sold at 70 euros and more like a call of duty (not a bad one) than a battlefield. Please EA listen to your players they know better especially battlefield veterans. This is a beta so a lot can change but I think a lot needs to change, this is just my experience and opinions, but many others would feel the same. Some parts may be added/updated over time as I remember these things or discover new things.Battlefield problem specially sniping :/
I played Battlefield 6, and honestly, it’s pretty disappointing. Sniping doesn’t feel anything like it did in BF4 or BF1. In those games, sniping felt so satisfying — the bullet drop, the weight of the shots, the overall feel. In BF6, it feels out of place: there’s no bullet drop, and the lens glare is massive. It’s just not as sweet as it used to be. Movement is another issue. You sprint like a racehorse with unlimited stamina, jumping and sliding all over the place. It’s nonstop speed with no sense of fatigue, which feels odd for Battlefield. And then there’s the maps. They feel more like Call of Duty maps — smaller, no verticality , and more linear compared to the large-scale, open maps that Battlefield is known for. You can’t even use rooftops . To those who might say I’m just a noob, answer me this: if I wanted a fast-paced game with constant running and small, linear maps, why would I choose Battlefield over Call of Duty or other games that already do that style better and have been doing it for years?Bugged Inputs
I don't know whats happening but since playing the beta today my game switches between controlls like crazy im using a PS5 Controller on PC but the game keeps showing me Xbox input Symbols when im not pressing anything (occasionally switching to m&k as well). While holding a button on my PS Controller it shows the right UI bit as soon as i let go it switches to xbox. The odd thing is when i unplugg my keyboard (it stops and im not getting any wrong inputs. If checked other games but it only happens in the BF6 beta. If anyone has any ideas I would be greatfull.Hit reg and TTD (Time To Die).
The hit reg in this game (for me) is absolutely shocking. I feel as if I need to land 15 shots to get a kill from close range. I only hear countless hit markers on the enemy player and then die instantly in a single frame. The TTD (Time to Die) for me is instant and I don’t even here the bullets hit me, I die. There is absolutely no time to react and combined with the ZERO footsteps in this game it gets a bit frustrating after a while. The game on the whole is great and is definitely Battlefield is back baby but please fix these issues.GPU usage & fps drop after 10ish minutes of playing
When the game starts, my fps is fine. Around 60 to a 100. But during the first game, at some point, the fps drops significantly to around 30 fps. My pc specs are a bit unconventional so it might have something to do with it, but I do not have this issue with other games. Specs: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 64GB DDR5 6500 RTX 3070 via Oculink @ constant 16GT/s 1440p I use DLSS, no sync or framerate limiter I do have target framerate at 120 In task manager > performance I can see that at the start of the game my GPU usage is 90ish% and framerates are great. But after a while you can feel that it becomes sluggish in movement. I can see that at that point, the GPU usage is down to +- 30%. At the end of a round I even got some graphical glitch where I would see a band of rainbow effect transparently overlayed on the graphics. In HWinfo I can see that my PCIe Link speed is always at 16.0GT/s so it isn't the oculink speed. If I test full cpu and gpu load with cinebench & furmark I see no drop in performance. This seems to be a specific Battlefield 6 beta issue. If I see changes during the next games, I'll post a reply here. If more info is needed; please let me know!My BF6 Open Beta Feedback
- Change weapon balance. - Adjust TTK to medium/long range. - Adjust recoil of certain weapons. - Remove 1 shot kill option for Sniper Rifle (Unless it's a headshot). - Slow down or otherwise limit slide effectiveness. - Remove shotgun option for Assault (SMG, Carabine only). - Slow down repair when using Engineer (He repairs too fast, which allows enemy tanks to camp and have 2 Engineer players behind him and so he is immortal). - Assault's adrenaline shot could slowly replenish HP (currently it's a useless ability). - Grenades could have a little more range when held. - Adjust Helicopter and Fighter controllability (Currently they are too slow to maneuver). - C4 should do more damage to infantry. - Incendiary grenade from M320 should not slow down the player after hitting and prevent them from moving, turning... - RPG should do more damage to Tanks (Currently it needs too many rockets to destroy). - Grenades & Rockets should be replenished a little faster from Ammo Box from Support. - Possibility of better indicator for Ping. - Adjust UI and overall enjoyment of Kill (Currently it is not as "rewarding" as it was in previous BFs). - Better Server stability. - Better game optimization.
