So if my husband cheats on me, I might be very mad at him but that doesn't automatically make him very mad at me. If my child is mad because I'm being strict, the feeling the mom has is very different. That's realistic life. Unrequited relationships with sims would be so fun. If there could be uneven love triangles or a mystery as to how someone feels about you there would be mystique and interest. I think the relationship system in sims is very broken and frustrating. We need a remake.32Views1like0CommentsRomantic satisfaction and rotational gameplay
When I play I tend to rotate between 4 or 5 families. I play each family for several days. Whenever I don't play a family for a few days the romantic satisfaction between couples totally tanks. Romantic satisfaction needs to be adjusted so it is not impacted when a couple is not in the active household.10Views0likes0CommentsSims 4 Missing a Personality
Shy Sims are Missing in the Sims 4 a shy Sim Hardly talks so you have to get to know them. Talk to them. Shy Sims never seem to get Jealous less you add the Jalousie Trait. Opportunity a rise with that Sim you could Cheat with out a Jalousie Penalty. The Shy Sim is a Challange that could be fun.12Views0likes0CommentsHealth Food Nut Lifestyle
My adventurous sim, just got the health food nut lifestyle, since they started as a rags to riches they could only afford the fridge and made a ton of salads which is how he got the lifestyle. However I find it weird that a lot of the new foods that come with Snowy Escape are not considered "healthy". I get that hot pot wouldn't be considered healthy (there's lots of oils and fats in it) but he didn't like avocado maki roll (which I consider healthy) and it gave him the wasted calories sad moodlet. I think that the foods that the game considers healthy need a bit of a tune up to include the foods from SE and CL cause a lot of those I would consider healthy eating options. Does anyone know what foods, that are NOT part of the health food nut cooking options, are considered healthy by health nut sims? So far I have found salad and pan fried tilapia to be ok. I don't want to always have to cook the health nut options as they make my sim energized and that buff is strong enough to cover other buffs, like inspired or focused, I want my sim to feel those too sometimes and not always energized from healthy foods.23KViews3likes17CommentsManage Worlds Map
I would love to see the Manage Worlds page in The Sims 4 transformed into an interactive map of the entire Sims world. While many fans have already created these maps, and I often base my gameplay on them, it would be amazing to have an official version integrated into the game. For worlds tied to Expansion Packs and Game Packs, these could appear as greyed-out and locked until the corresponding pack is purchased. This feature would add so much immersion and make navigating the game even more enjoyable! The Reddit user @strangest_sea created an incredible map that I think would be perfect to use as inspiration. It beautifully organises the Sims 4 worlds, and as new worlds are added, they could seamlessly be integrated into specific regions on the map. This would also add for better holiday destinations. This approach would enhance navigation and make the game feel more cohesive and immersive.18Views0likes0CommentsSims for San Myshuno apartments
Dear EA Sims Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am a long-time fan of The Sims 4 and have greatly enjoyed the creativity and depth the game allows. However, I would like to suggest a feature improvement that would greatly enhance the customization of apartment buildings within the game. As of now, apartments in San Myshuno (such as the LandGrab, Alto, and SPIRE apartments) cannot be fully modified or converted into penthouses, limiting the creative potential for players who wish to transform these iconic buildings. It would be wonderful if there were an option to customize the exteriors of these apartments, as well as the ability to turn them into penthouses or private residences, similar to other buildings in the game. I believe this change would provide a significant improvement to the gameplay experience, offering more flexibility for players who enjoy designing and building in San Myshuno. Additionally, it would give players more options for personalization, helping to make the game world feel even more immersive and unique. Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to seeing how The Sims 4 continues to evolve and enhance the experience for players like myself. Best regards, Tommy Hunt28Views0likes0Comments10 suggestions for new traits.
Just a few ideas for traits that really help give a sim more character. I'm not fond of the ones that do little else but boost how fast some skills are learned. -Boring. These sims are easy to please and content with pretty basic activities, their fun motive drains less fast than for other sims. They also won't do any interesting activities by themselves, meals they cook on their own are always the most bland options available. They can talk about mundane stuff with other sims, which will bore them unless they too are boring. These sims are content with a simple life and don't crave excitement, so the trait conflicts with such traits. -Dumb. These sims are incapable of improving skills but can still get them through the wishing well or other rewards. They are also easily amused and can be particularly frustrating for genius sims in conversation, but their antics might also annoy some other sims. They might still try to use broken stuff and act surprised it doesn't work. They also are able to do some unique interactions like 'pull my finger' and stuff like that. They never feel embarrassed. They can laugh at themselves too and might even respond positively when targeted with mischief. -Jaded. Nothing phases these sims, they are unimpressed by whatever crazy thing happens. They just shrug and move on. Also means they won't panic or get scared, but won't do anything about it on their own either like put out a fire unless told to do it. It is more difficult for them to make friends with anyone who isn't also jaded, and learning skills could take a bit longer too because they aren't open minded. -Open minded. These sims are quicker to learn and make friends, quick to forgive too but do get hit by stronger negative buffs whenever they do feel betrayed by another sim. They might be a little naive at times, expecting the best of others. They could also be excited about trying new skills, getting the first few levels faster but later levels at the regular rate. They might dive enthusiastically in new things without worry, which can sometimes backfire on them. -Heavy sleeper. They can sleep anywhere without trouble, no amount of noise will wake them, it never causes them discomfort either even if they sleep on the floor. They could even go sleep in spots no other sim can. Like in the rocket which could have a chance to blast off into space whenever they sleep there, accidentally pushing the wrong button in their sleep. They can also sleep on a slide, in a chair, on a yoga mat, in a bathtub, in a hottub and various other places, which might be annoying to other sims. Sleeping gives them fun too. -Loud. These sims laugh loudly, snore loudly, make more noise when preparing a meal, sing louder too and just tend to cause a lot of noise. Also have some unique interactions like singing loudly at their mirror. When a loud sim screams, it wakes everyone on the lot too unless they are a heavy sleeper. They talk at a higher volume too, they don't do whispering. They themselves are not bothered by loud noises. -Quiet. These sims can be very sneaky, they are good at sneaking up on others and also not waking them or causing a ruckus. They get a few whisper interactions too, they enjoy quiet activities, and will often enough turn off radios and other devices that make noise. They don't get along well with loud sims, but could make excellent librarians. -Charlatan. These sims are real con artists, they will always look for short cuts. They can cheat in games, are likely to cheat in relationships, can tell tall tales and also various lies. They are also able to con other sims out of some money with all kinds of rigged hustles. They do however risk losing friends fast when caught in their web of lies and might also have to pay fines for failed hustles. They get unique interactions at jobs too to hustle in some way. They enjoy a good gamble too. -Mime. These sims don't talk, ever so can be used to simulate a mute or just someone who chooses not to speak. They do use hand gestures instead to communicate. They also have the option to mime, doing various mime motions to amuse other sims. -Lucky. A bit of a cheat trait, these sims always get the best possible results from anything with random chance. Always find the best items, win lotteries, nothing unfortunate ever happens to them by chance. It does however make them bad at actual hard work. They learn skills slower and are not so good with holding down a job. Things come easy for them so they take it for granted. They aren't good at comforting other sims because they can't relate to misfortune. When bad things do happen to them that have nothing to do with random chance so can't be avoided, they suffer stronger negative penalties for it though because they are terrible at coping with that.37Views5likes3Comments
