WTF EA? Game won't launch. Windows flags TS4_Launcher_x64.exe & repair fails
After being forced to update the game, I found out that the update only caused issues instead fixing them. When trying to launch the game a pop up notification tells you that it was "blocked" by the computer's safety system (Smart App Control). Due to "some features of UnknownApp may not work because we can't confirm who published them". Then when you get passed that and try to launch the game, it informs you that "Repairs needed. Some of your files are corrupted, but a simple repair should do the trick". Which is not the case, because when you repair the game and try to launch, another pop up appears telling you "Failed to launch game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later". And then it repeats those pop ups no matter what you do. I've tried EVERYTHING. Uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing files, taking files out the game, etc. I did not mess with the SAC, because I'm not jeopardizing my computer's security to play a game. That's ridiculous. WTF EA?! How can I not play a game that I PAYED for!!!!!Moving my Sims 4 Folder From OneDrive to Local Downloads
I want to move my Sims 4 folder from onedrive to my computer's local downloads folder because my onedrive is running out of space. I have many mods and I don't want to lose them or the progress that I have made. I know that moving them to somewhere else does not work directly because the game will not update to its new location; however, I do not know how to bypass that without ruining all of my data. Please let me know some options I can use. I also want to preface that I use Steam to run the Sims 4 game, just in case that may interfere with moving my folder.Save files
I have been dealing with Claude and chat gbt to help me with my Sims game. Each time Sims did something wrong like they're uploads my mods got trashed this time since I knew things was happening because my game kept crashing and trying to figure out how to do a 50/50 over 10,000 mods that I accumulated and trying to get into my game. They both told me that I can do a Sim link with my SSD external hard drive and my UBS. That was a disaster. Delete it all of my mods when they had me do this did this thing called recover I probably am mispronouncing it but it's something that recovers all of your stuff. So they had a bright idea to tell me to just transfer my whole document drive into my D drive that was a **bleep** disaster so much so the game would not load still so again I had to redownload all of my mods again. And doing this transferring from D drive to C drive my saves which I desperately need will not load in the game. I restarted A New Path by uninstalling and reinstalling the game that created A New Path I made sure everything was clean in the save files no copies or duplicates. And put a life of me each time they say well do this go and run the game create a new folder A New Path and it works it's not the save files are just sitting there from the date that I started playing the game in March to now can somebody please help me to put the save files in the right place so the game can load I am literally checking everything. This is the only thing that's trying to keep me sane because I am not liking my life right about now. I'm in a very abusive situation that caused me to have neck surgery. I don't have employment. And the only thing I have right now is to help me escape reality is to play The Sims game why I'm recouping from this neck surgery that I got is there anybody out here that can help me I am so sorry if this is long and or if there's any grammar errors. I have to use talk and text because I can no longer use my hands like I used to anymore.
Can't set game into Simplified Chinese
I used to play Sims4 in Simplified Chinese, today I set the game into English and now I can't get it back to Simplified Chinese. When I try, it automatically turns into Traditional Chinese. I tried fix it for several times but still no. Do I need to re-install the game?
