Save files
I have been dealing with Claude and chat gbt to help me with my Sims game. Each time Sims did something wrong like they're uploads my mods got trashed this time since I knew things was happening because my game kept crashing and trying to figure out how to do a 50/50 over 10,000 mods that I accumulated and trying to get into my game. They both told me that I can do a Sim link with my SSD external hard drive and my UBS. That was a disaster. Delete it all of my mods when they had me do this did this thing called recover I probably am mispronouncing it but it's something that recovers all of your stuff. So they had a bright idea to tell me to just transfer my whole document drive into my D drive that was a **bleep** disaster so much so the game would not load still so again I had to redownload all of my mods again. And doing this transferring from D drive to C drive my saves which I desperately need will not load in the game. I restarted A New Path by uninstalling and reinstalling the game that created A New Path I made sure everything was clean in the save files no copies or duplicates. And put a life of me each time they say well do this go and run the game create a new folder A New Path and it works it's not the save files are just sitting there from the date that I started playing the game in March to now can somebody please help me to put the save files in the right place so the game can load I am literally checking everything. This is the only thing that's trying to keep me sane because I am not liking my life right about now. I'm in a very abusive situation that caused me to have neck surgery. I don't have employment. And the only thing I have right now is to help me escape reality is to play The Sims game why I'm recouping from this neck surgery that I got is there anybody out here that can help me I am so sorry if this is long and or if there's any grammar errors. I have to use talk and text because I can no longer use my hands like I used to anymore.HELP PLEASE
so to preface this before i get into details. Hi, my name is Jessica and I use my fiancé's EA and steam accounts. Both of his accounts are linked together. I had purchased some expansion/stuff packs, including seasons, life and death, rent, cats and dogs, get to work, businesses and hobbies, laundry. It says that they are not installed. How do I install them onto my games, I have looked at some other players issues/problems, and I tried using some of those solutions but none of them have helped. Unfortunately, at this point I am getting fed up with it and I'm not wanting to continue playing this. this is unfortunately my last resort if I can't figure it out, I will just kiss my worlds and money i have spent on go to waste. Please any help/information/guides will be greatly appreciated. I'm praying that someone can help or give me some guidance.
Can't set game into Simplified Chinese
I used to play Sims4 in Simplified Chinese, today I set the game into English and now I can't get it back to Simplified Chinese. When I try, it automatically turns into Traditional Chinese. I tried fix it for several times but still no. Do I need to re-install the game?
Problems with game files missing
I just reinstalled the Sims 4 after it wasn’t working. It is currently on the DATA drive of my computer. All of my previous sims data like my save files, screenshots, households etc is currently in a different location on the DATA drive, and isn’t showing up in game. I am struggling to find a way to move it over. I have tested by installing my mods and cc in the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 folder located in my computers C drive. which has been able to work and show up in game however I am worried all of the data I have to move over like my save files won’t be able to fit into the C drive. So I was wondering if the Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 folder could be moved over to the DATA drive. And if not, what folders would be most important to move over into the C drive.Where do I install the Sims 4
Okay so I couldn't save my sims game anymore because there wasn't enough space on my drive. I looked into it and apparently I installed my sims game on my school's one drive (i don't go to school anymore so if anyone knows how to uninstall that please let me know too). But anyway i uninstalled my sims game to re-install it on a different location on my PC. The game started up just fine. Now when i wanted to add all my CC it didn't work, it also looked different then i'm used too. Now i tried different location ect but it still looks like that. (see picture below). Can someone please help me out on what i'm doing wrong, and how to fix it.
Sim 4 Infiniate blue loading screen. No end in sight. Please send help.
This has been happening since at least 12/13/25 according to my last save. That date is now ingrained in my head. Problem: when loading up my sims i press resume and it leads to blue screen. If i pick load save and then play, it loads to blue screen. Sometimes i will hear the sound queue that the game has loaded but it infect has not and im stuck on the same screen. Factors: No CC or mods anymore. removed it during the 50/50 method before i tried with no mods and issue persisted. Was in the middle of a vacation with sims during my last save. Attempted and failed fixes: -Removing CC and mods. -Clearing localthumbcache.package. -Clearing EA app cache. -Moving the Household. -Repairing the game. -Change Driver x thingy to 9. I am losing my mind and about to find a dupe for this game. Help me before i go completely insane. I beg you. I have over 6000 hours and a generation challenge that i'm in gen 3 for. I have so much time and money into a game I cant even play.
