[PC] MUT 26 Online Stutter at Fixed Interval (~2s) – Likely Sync Issue?
I’m trying to figure out if anyone else on PC is dealing with this because at this point I’ve ruled out just about everything on my end. Whenever I play MUT 26 online (Head-to-Head or Draft), I get a consistent stutter roughly every 2 seconds. It’s not random lag—it’s like a rhythmic freeze/hitch that happens over and over, making the game completely unplayable. What’s strange is that: Solo challenges and all CPU modes run perfectly smooth No FPS drops during the stutter (frame rate stays stable) No packet loss or latency warnings show up in-game Happens every single online match, regardless of opponent Troubleshooting I’ve already done: Wired Ethernet connection (stable, no issues in other games) Updated GPU drivers to latest Rolled back GPU drivers to a known stable version (12/18/2025) Disabled on-field visual feedback (community suggestion) Capped FPS to 120 and switched to borderless windowed Cleared DirectX shader cache Fully reinstalled the game System specs: i7-14700K RTX 3080 64GB DDR5 (6600 MT/s) NVMe SSD Windows fully updated At this point, it really feels like something tied to online synchronization or netcode rather than a performance issue. The fact that the stutter is happening at a consistent interval (~every 2 seconds) makes me think it’s not typical lag. I also don’t have this issue in any other online game, so it seems specific to Madden/MUT online modes. Has anyone else run into this? If so: Did you find a fix? Is this a known issue on PC? Any settings or workarounds I might’ve missed? My card has been stuck in auction for over 2 hours on closed won’t let me send to binder, it is ltd 99 gauntlet champion Darren Waller, I’ve also spent over 300$ today in packs just to try and pull Brady with no avail, and now the servers are down, If a Dev sees this please try and compensate this or help out I think this is ridiculous I left the case number in title and the person I spoke with in chat was very helpful and thought I should post in this forum thank youOpponents bad connection issues killed the game
Right now, in a game that won't let me do anything, due to seeing 'your opponent is having connection issues' so the game freezes. The menus do not go away, the opponent no longer is on screen, BTW, I'm on xbxs they are cross platform. The game came back, and low and behold, my passing was no longer effective, my run game stunted, fair enough, but my QB not being able to run outside, or in a straight line without some weird animation that seemed to be controlling his moves. EA need to start being strict with connection issues, they ruin the hell out of games. Should be a limit on connection strikes and gone, not a dozen or more all the way through a half. Why should I suffer because of my opponents connectivity? I shouldn't, simple.
Servers have been horrible before the draft promo.
It has been MONTHS since i can actually play a game, solo, or even change my lineup around without getting kicked out of the game. ERRORs left and right for MONTHS, Also trying to play a game. It DESYNCS and says stats wont count?? oh then it gives you a loss anyways.. WTF hahahahaMadden 26 Teambuilder issue
small issue but it's infuriating considering we paid money for the game and some of us only play Franchise and use Teambuilder as a way to have a custom franchise. The helmet banners and chinstraps are appearing chrome/black in game instead of white (or any other color you choose) that it shows in Teambuilder. It even shows correctly in the preview in Download Center in game, but when you download the team and start a franchise, then play a game or view players in Adjust Lineup, the chinstraps and banners are chrome/black. It takes away from what our team is supposed to be. In Madden 25, the chinstraps and banners would automatically default to the color of your helmet. Initially in M26, it was working fine and no issues, but just in the past week this glitch has surfaced, PLEASE FIX OR I WILL NEVER PURCHASE MADDEN AGAIN UNTIL EA Loses the rights. It's ridiculous, .I'm so tired of being patient with this nonsense. Get TEAMbuilder right or remove it altogether. It's not fair to your customers and we're tired of the constant glitches. You also need to add more features like shoulder stripes (think NE Patriots, LSU tigers, etc.), sock stripes (Think Browns, etc.), and fix the sock issue (I make the undersocks blue and base white, ONLY one color shows up). What's the point of having the sock option in customization with no sock, low, med, high when it ALWAYS defaults to one style for the WHOLE TEAM. It's ridiculous. GET IT RIGHT EA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD GET A REFUND BUT ITS TOO LATE. PLEASE FIX AND MAKE THESE IMPROVEMENTS.
