My Sims 4 starting up in a tiny window
Greetings. I appreciate any and all help I can get on this matter. Whenever I start up my Sims 4 game on my Acer laptop this happens. It immediately minimizes and stays on this screen. I have tried disabling all apps on start up, disabling Discord on my laptop, I tried a system config on my Windows 11 to troubleshoot any background applications. I still see some background applications when I load into the game however they seem to be necessary for the computer's function (I'm not super savvy on computers so I can be wrong on this). I just don't know what to do anymore. Any suggestions are much needed and appreciated.
BF2042 - Failed to launch game - and further problems with EA app/licensing
I've been struggling since 19.08.25 getting the game to launch. Seems like it happened after BF6 Open Beta, which worked just fine. I have reinstalled 4 times, repaired every possible file, updated, cleared all types of cashe, both EA and Temp files. I have tested 3 different Nvidia drivers (im at 577.00 atm). I have done multiple Clean/safe boots over the past days with different and all services disabled and so on. I have tried new Windows Admin user, and upgrading from Windows 10 to 11 with no luck. I've spoken to 6 different EA help supports going thru their manuals time after time, nothing seems to work. I even baught a new copy thru Steam, that didnt work either. All kinds of firewall settings have been tested, i even verified every possible EA sertificate and signatures of the executables. After 20 hours of trying to resolve this, I figured I'll buy an EA Play subscribtion, to download any other game that uses Javelin Anticheat. By doing so, suddenly my other games licenses became invalid. So now Battlefield 3 / 4 doesnt launch either. I have deleted the %ProgramData%\*\License files, trying to renew them, that doesnt work either. Now i'm stuck with all these problems, and EA support-chat can't resolve or help anymore, they allways replies; wait another 24 hour to see if it works. I'm tired of waiting. Any clues out there please? I feel like i've tried everything, even advanced options, but I may have missed a simple try? (Impossible to run ProcMon.exe/ProcExp.exe due to Anticheat for further investigation) I've included complete DxDiag from Win10 (20.08.25) and Win11 (23.08.25)
Failed to launch game - error on our end
I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it?
ME3 Could Not Activate/Keeps Making New License Folder
Around 8/10/25 I updated my bios and installed a new cpu and got the "could not activate/product key" pop up. Moving the License folder from the EA Services folder worked at first but as of 8/15/25 its now just generating a new License folder and neither deleting or moving them has worked. I looked around the forums and tried a few solutions that EA_Shepard and others have suggested. Reinstalling EA App, reinstalling ME3, using Revo Uninstaller to completely uninstall and reinstall everything again, changing/moving/deleting the License folder after killing Steam, EA App, and the EA Background thingy with task manager and clearing the temp folder. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?
please help! sims game is not even launching!!!
Okay so i didn't want to have to do this BUTTTTT. of course it has to be this way, so i deleted all my mods, i added them back in, nothing seems to be working and I've even added them back in one by one and I've been stuck on this for about 4 days and I've been working TIRELESSLY to get my sims 4 to semi work, but even if i delete all my mods my sims 4 game wont even launch and i get a notification pop up on my screen after it crashes and takes me back to the EA startup stating "an error on our end caused the launch to fail, please try again later" this is really starting to frustrates me and the fact that everyone else is having problems </3
Boots me to World Select
i just updated the game cuz i have not played in almost a month, and only updated 3 mods, before when i played it NEVER did this to me, now it wont let me play a household, i click play on my household and it boots me to the world select screen, i even tried to make a new game and it still does it. Even does it without mods, and i even tried to repair the game, on the sims 4 discord i see a lot of people having the same issue, and they even tried reinstalling the game and NOTHING has worked. what is going on? is there more people having this issue?Enchanted by Nature - unable to play at all
Hi All, needing some further advice please. Absolutely stumped as I've read just about every post I can find to tell me what to do so I can play again. Since the new game I haven't been able to play or even open any Sims 4 games and I even bought a second EBN on the EA App as I thought maybe I'd stuffed the original download somehow? So far I have - Completed several repairs via the manage function on the app and five full uninstall and reinstall of the Sims 4. I have tried running it as an administrator, cleared caches on the EA app too. I've updated my drivers for my NVidia. I even tried that directx11 text where I added it to the game and tried to launch again. Still getting the failure to launch on our end text. I'm eager to learn how to fix this as I am at a loss as to what could possibly be wrong. So, I beg all of you superpowered technical savvy folks for guidance.
Settings reset
When I log into Apex legends I have to agree to the user agreement; which I do and even after I had agreed end to it, it still pops up Everytime I want to get on and play. While this happens it resets every setting on my account, this has been happening ever since season 26 of apex had came out.Getting "Your signed in account needs an active EA Play membership."
like the title says. keeps telling me i need an active EA Play membership even though I have one through my PC Game Pass through Microsoft, even says I have EA Play when logged into the EA App on my PC, with my Xbox account linked. Just trying to play the 10 hour free trial to see if I want to purchase the game and its already making me not want to. Downloaded the game and have been waiting all day to try the game on my weekend off, but no, I'm doing this instead. Please help
FC 25 Game Zooms Bug
Hi all, I’m experiencing a glitch (or some kind of technical issue) and hoping for suggestions to fix it. Here’s what I’ve already tried: Reinstalling the game Updating both the game and my graphics drivers Verifying game files Repairing via EA AntiCheat Resetting the graphics card (Ctrl + Win + Shift + B) Adding windowed mode/resolution commands to Steam launch settings Changing high DPI settings in the game’s .exe file properties Despite all these attempts, the issue persists. Would really appreciate any advice or ideas if you’ve faced or fixed something similar. Thanks!
