F1 25 Page Fault on Boot due to eaanticheat.sys
Attempting to launch the game will result in a page fault and crash the entire computer. I am able to enjoy part of the game by launching the game into offline mode without the anti-cheat, but this is ridiculous. I can play other EA Javelin games like Battlefield 6 just fine. I have already tried every "fix" under the sun, from whitelisting the folder in WinDef, running everything as administrator, compatability modes, disabling the NVidia Overlay, etc. Attached to this post is my DxDiag, and below is the output of the crash dump run through WinDbg. Hello, Currently reporting being unable to launch F1 2025 on my system. I'm launching the game through Steam. The application displays the following behavior on launch: If the install is fresh or files verified, Javelin Anti-Cheat is installed. The F1 2025 initial loading screen appears, the "starting Javelin Anti-Cheat" bar appears for a few seconds. The menu bar transfers to "launching game", for a few frames, then disappears. The game returns to "Play" on steam, indicating that it crashed. Event logger states the below when checking for any application errors: The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xFFFFFFFF -------------- Exception code: 0xC0000005 Exception address: 0x14381CF54 Faulting module name: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 25\F1_25.exe, base: 0x140000000 Fault offset: 0x381CF54 I'm aware that there are many, many posts about being unable to launch F1 2025 with varying suggested solutions and I've exhausted all options I could find currently. I believe that this post differs from the active one (13089408) as when I verify my files, none are listed as missing. My system specs can be found in the DxDiag.txt file that I've attached. There is a post that I found that had something similar to my issue (same exception code, post ID 12538538), but this post was marked as "Fixed" without a listed solution on it. If it was actually solved, please provide the solution given for this issue. Things I have attempted to resolve the issue: PC Restart (this was used after every step described below to confirm changes.) Verification of game files (This will prompt the application to reinstall Javelin Anti-Cheat, but with the same behavior. No files are listed as missing) Confirmation that my GPU is not overclocked/underclocked/retuned Update of all Graphics Drivers, BIOS, and chipset drivers Update of windows to current build (I saw some suggestions to roll back my windows, but the post was 6 months old and many windows updates have occurred since. If I need to roll back, please specify a version number or which update to remove.) Fresh re-install of the game Deletion of the hardware xml file (this file does not populate as the game does not launch) Checking the game logs (these do not populate where referenced on the forums) Ensure that any conflicting applications are not running (I have ended task on every application on my computer that is non-essential prior to attempting to open F1 2025) Disconnect of all peripheral devices prior to game start (I play using a G920 racing wheel, but have disconnected it prior to launch. I have also tried every case with it connected.) Running as administrator Ensuring that F1 2025 is allowed through my firewall Independent reinstall and attempted repair of Javelin Anti-Cheat Modifying the "hardwaresetting" folder (this does not populate) Please let me know if you need any further information and advise further. I purchased the game on 4/2/2026, and will troubleshoot until 4/14/2026.Game crashing fix for Steam
I found a post on steam community from someone pointing out that we need to download ''steam_api64.dll'' and paste in system32 AND SysWOW64. Tried myself and it worked for hours without a single crash Notice that i could only test it for steam, not sure if this will work for those who play on EA App I downloaded from here, version 5.25.65.21 https://pt.dll-files.com/steam_api64.dll.htmlF1 25 Not launching on steam
After starting the game it opens the splash screen. after a bit, the splash screen closes the game doesn't load and instead just opens a windows that says "error 0x00000003". (I dont always get the error code) And IF the game opens (only happened twice since i bought it 3 days ago) it gives me an error saying: "EA Javelin Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration. Please ensure no cheat-related or tampering software is active and restart the game. (95)" And i cant play anything online as it says ingame that It cant connect to online servers. On top of that, when i try to verify file integrity in Steam, it says 3 files are missing and reacquires them. When i relaunch the game after verifying files the same splash screen issue occurs. Then i verify the files again and 3 files are missing AGAIN (Literally a continuous loop) Also, The game doesn't show up in my EA app library even though i have my steam account connected to my EA account. I tried literally everything I've seen online and nothing fixes it. I even contacted EA support AND steam support and none of them were able to help me. Looks like this issue has been happening for at least 7 months from what I've seen online (even in f1 23 and f1 24). And EA still hasn't tried fixing it. Please work on this issue so we can play the game we paid for.F1 25 Will not launch (Steam)
Like many many other users, I cannot launch F1 25 on my PC. When I attempt to launch the game in Stream I see the splash screen, which eventually closes. Then nothing happens. This is a fresh Windows 11 install with very few other applications installed. I've tried the following: -Disable antivirus (Windows Defender, no other AV installed) -Manually install EA Javelin software from F1 25 directory -Manually install EA Javelin software from download on EA website -EA Javelin software repair -Reinstall game from Steam -Run file validation in Steam -Install EA App -Run game as administrator -Verified list of incompatible software for EA Javelin (non installed) -Update Nvidia driver -Starting game with no Internet access -Verified local Documents directory was not pointing to OneDrive (registry entry was correct) I cannot attach hardware settings information, since heh game does not launch and will not create the directory. I cannot provide a report code, since the game does not launch. Below is a screen shot of the splash screen. It will progress past this message to "Launching Game" before it fails completely.Game crashes at start up
Everytime after det 2026 dlc my game crashes at start up, i have reinstalled the game four times now and the issue still exists. And its not my problem with the steam client, i have never used the beta client. EA & Codemaster please fix this issue fast because many people cant play the game right now.F1 25 Page Fault on Boot due to EAAntiCheat

Since the 2026 season update, my F1 25 game crashes for no reason, whether I'm on the home screen, in the settings menu, in career mode, or on a track—basically, constantly, and no matter where I am within fifteen minutes of launching the game. So I tried several methods to try and fix the game, such as: - Verifying the installation files - Uninstalling and reinstalling the game - Uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app and Steam - Uninstalling and reinstalling eaanticheat - Uninstalling all drivers using the DDU method - Updating the BIOS - Excluding the eaanticheat and F1 25 files from the antivirus - Resetting the Hardware folder in "My Documents/mygames/F1 25" - Running the game as administrator - Lowering the graphics settings by disabling the DLSS option. At this point, I've run out of ideas and searched the forums, and despite all this, my game still crashes. PS: i have the game on EA app and Steam , and i have the same problemThe game crashes at startup
I reinstalled the latest video card driver, restarted my PC, then redownloaded the entire game, verified the file integrity — nothing. I also deleted the hardware settings, well if that was the problem, I didn't get any further at all. Yesterday evening it still worked, today it doesn't even start. I honestly don't know what to do anymore, my friends have also run out of ideas. What could be the problem? Since then today I also tried running it as administrator, that didn't help either. I checked another EA game and that started without a problem. I saw somewhere that USB can also be the issue, I use my controller through that, until now I never had this problem with any game or any F1 game.F1 25 does not launch — EA Javelin Event ID 1000 / 0xC0000005 / Windows 11 25H2
Hello, I cannot launch F1 25 on PC through Steam / EA Play. The game does not reach the main menu. Launch flow: Steam starts the game → EA App opens → EA Javelin AntiCheat starts → F1 25 closes/crashes. Event Viewer shows: EA Javelin Anticheat Event ID: 1000 f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly Code: 0xC0000005 System: Windows 11 Pro 25H2 Build: 26200.8737 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti NVIDIA driver: 32.0.16.1062 Steam AppID: 3059520 Secure Boot: Enabled TPM 2.0: Present and Ready Already tried: - EA App reinstall - Steam Verify Integrity - EA AntiCheat / EA Javelin repair - Secure Boot / TPM check - NVIDIA Overlay / FrameView disabled - FACEIT Anti-Cheat fully removed - Checked other anti-cheat services/drivers - VC++ Redistributables checked - Recent Windows updates removed and tested - Memory Integrity / HVCI disabled and tested - Shader cache / F1 25 user folder reset - Multiple reboots and clean launch attempts Nothing helped. I also contacted EA Help multiple times. The chats were repeatedly disconnected by timeout, and I was asked basic scripted questions despite already providing diagnostics, DxDiag, and Event Viewer details. This does not look like a normal installation issue. It looks like an EA Javelin AntiCheat compatibility/crash issue on Windows 11 25H2 / build 26200. Please escalate this to the EA Javelin / F1 25 technical team. If anyone has the same issue or found a working fix, please reply here.
